"no Bry you already took a lot," Pearl said with a cute pout

"you always say the same," she hissed
"okay okay last one," I said she glare then take her sunglasses off

"stop it, Bryson!!"
"yeah all done," I said putting the camera in my pocket
"can we scroll around if you finish your photography Mr. Knight?" she asked sarcastically
"yeah," I said taking her hand and scrolling around 'Arch of Triumph'

"let's go shopping?" Pearl said
"no, I'm not in the mood for shopping," I said in the morning we went to 'Arch of Triumph' and we came back because her heels got broken. Now it is 4:30 PM according to Paris time and she wants to go shopping for her family.
"Please," she said
"no, I extend our vacation Pea we can go tomorrow," I said laying down on the couch.
"No tomorrow we are going to tell others about your proposal," she said pointing at me
"why do we need to tell them we can tell them when we get back," I argue
"no I can't wait I want to see their reactions please, please," she said making puppy dog eyes. She knows I always give in.
"fine but I will not change,"
"you are lazy about changing clothes," she said before running into the closet

"it's the last one right?" she asks. I nodded then she grins

She gives me a very sweet smile. "Day after tomorrow we will come back here? Okay, babe,"
"only if you call me 'babe' in front of our family and let me do my photography stunt on you," I said with a cheeky grin
"fine now let's go,"

"Did I look good?" Pearl asked for the 7th time
"Yeah, now come on, I video call dad... you know what to do?" I ask.
"yep!" she said then sat beside me in the front yard of the cottage
"it's time," she said nervously
"Are you afraid of how they will react?" I ask amusingly
"yes," she said nodding her head
"don't, they love you," I said with a smile. She nodded and smiled back
We call my parents as dad picks up the call
PEARL WINSTON POV~
"Hello kids," uncle Jacob said picking up the video call
"Hey, dad why are you looking so low?" Bryson asks in concern
"well actually... hmm... Xavier told me not to tell you but he got into an accident yesterday after the charity ball,"
"WHAT?!" Bryson shouted standing up and started calling someone
'Oh God, I hate accidents please god please let us know that he is safe' I thought and started praying as Bryson called him.
"hey don't call him now, he might be resting," aunt Cathay said coming and sitting beside uncle Jacob.
"But why no buddy tell us? How is he? Is he is fine? What did the doctor-"
"Bryson stop panicking and he is fine there was a doctor when the accident happened now he is absolutely fine," Uncle Jacob said as Bryson sat back beside me "and I think after you tell him the good news he will become happy," uncle Jacob said grinning at us
"which news?" aunt Cathay asked him
"about getting engaged," he said pointing towards the screen. Aunt Cathay turned as her eyes widened.
"He proposes to you?" she asks in a low voice. I nodded
"HE PROPOSED TO PEARL!" she shouted and hugged uncle Jacob and started dancing in his arms where we all laughed.
"Congratulations," she said turning towards the camera as her eyes water
"thank you," I said
"Please don't tell others we want to see how they will react when they see Pearl's ring finger," Bryson said smiling at them.
"don't worry son we will not tell others," uncle Jacob said
"How did he propose to you?" aunt Cathay asks excitedly. I tell them about how he proposes we skip the part when I say 'I don't know,'

"hey, Pea why didn't you pick up your calls? it's been a week since we last talked," Helen's sis said picking up the video call.
"Sorry Heli sis I was kinda busy," I said removing the hair from my face
"Wait, wait what is that?" she asked pointing towards the screen
"What?" I ask in confusion trying hard not to smile. I know she noticed the ring
"Show me your hand," she asks in shock
I lift my right hand trying to look confused
"Not this Pea," she hissed "your left hand?"
I lift my left hand and smile

"yeah," I said with a small smile
"Oh my God I can't believe it," she said as tears started flowing from her eyes. "Oh God I'm so happy," she said wiping the tears.
"Helen, are you alright?" I listen to a male voice from the other side and I get confused.
"Yeah I'm fine," she hoarsely replied to him
"you are crying is everything fine?" he asks coming in front of her as his back faces the camera. I try to look at him but my eyes widen as he cups her face and wipes her tears.
"Why are you crying?" he asks softly
"get aside Alex I'm on a video call,"
"Video call?" he asks in shock
"yes she is," I said as the man whose name is Alex turned as his eyes winded
"sh-t I don't know tha-"
"it's fine I think I need to tell Bryson something," I said playfully narrowing my eyes and pointing towards both of them.
"Listen, sis, I need to talk to her family personally. We jus-"
"it's fine it's your thing to tell them so I will keep my mouth shut," I said cutting the man with a small smile.
He sighs in relief before introducing himself "well I'm Alex,"
"Pearl," I said and we start talking
"where is Bry?" Helen asked after some time
"he was stressed about the Xavier accident, so I sent him out to have some fresh air and bring lunch," I said with a shugged
"I just called Natalie, she said he will get a discharge in 3-4 hours after some tests. You should call him he must be free by now," she said.
"Oh, I think Bryson is here," I said as I saw Bryson's car coming
"I think I should leave congratulation little sis," Alex said
"thank you," I said as he moved aside
"thank you for what?" Bryson asks coming toward me
"I'm congratulating my future sister-in-law," Helen said making Bryson turn towards his laptop

"yeah sorry," I said nervously
"Hmm! I will not talk to you, you tell her without me," he winches childishly

"But sis I want to tell you together," he said with a pout

"wait sis when are you coming back?" Bryson asks

"what about siblings day?" Bryson asks

"no, I think we should call Xavier first," I suggest he nodded before calling him

"Remove your hand from the camera so I can see your smash-headed face," Bryson said sarcastically
"So you both know," he said with a sigh before removing his hand from the camera. I gasped looking at his forehead.
"It's nothing Pea I'm fine you don't need to overreact," Xavier said rudely
"What happened Xavier? Why are you getting angry with Pearl?" aunt Rose's voice comes from the back as I look down Bryson holds my hand
"He behaves like this when he gets angry," Bryson said as I nodded my head
"I'm sorry Pearl he has been rude to everyone," aunt Rose said coming beside Xavier
"It's fine," I said in a small voice where Xavier was looking guilty
"I'm sorry Pea I was angry and I lash out at you. I'm really sorry-"
"It's fine Xavier, everyone has bad days," I said with a small smile
"It's not fine Pea he should know not to lash out at everyo- wait a minute," uncle Sebastian said coming into the screen as his eyes widened when I lifted my left hand and flashed my pink diamond ring.
"You fuc-nny turtle! you propose to her?" uncle Sebastian asks in shock
"What?" said aunt Rose, bent down to get a better view of my hand as her eyes widened.
"Wow congratulations kids," she said grinning at us
"Mom dad shift I also want to congratulate them," saying that Xavier took the phone so we can now see Xavier only.
"So, it really happens I thought you would suck and call us for help," Xavier said to Bryson.
"I'm not sucking up the person who always sucks. I have my ways of confessing," Bryson said glumly where Xavier laughed.
"Well congratulations guys," he said with a smile

"Thank God his mood has lightened up," I heard aunt Rose's voice
"Mom dad you both can also go back. I'm gonna stay here for some days," Xavier said looking at his parents

"He just doesn't want to go back to New York," uncle Sebastian said

"He is angry Bastian let him cool down here for some time," aunt Rose suggested in a low voice.
"Cool down he can't be able to move on from her-"
"DAD!! I think you have to go I want some time alone," Xavier said.
"I think he is right," I said in a small voice "I mean why not let him cool down then you can clear your misunderstanding,"
"Fine, I'm giving you 1 month to find her and move on," saying that Uncle Sebastian left.
"Sorry Xavi," aunt Rose said kissing his forehead
"Sorry mom I'm just frustrated about whatever happened the day before yesterday," Xavier said kissing her cheeks.
"I know son I know just take good care of yourself," saying that she also left.

We listen to someone choking from behind where Zach runs out of the screen

"You there too?" Bryson asks in shock. Let me remind you Bryson and Natalie didn't get along so Bryson decides not to tell Natalie to make her pissed about not telling her about us
"hmm.. yeah," I said lifting my left hand in front of the camera
"Oh god wedding bells!" Natalie shouted

"congratulation come back let's have a party," Natalie said excitingly
"We extend the vacation and we will be back soon,"

"Look at her left hand," Liam said glumly. As she took a look her eyes widened

Both Liam and Bryson growl in annoyance
"no it's an engagement ring," I said with a chuckle
"Congratulations, when are you guys coming back? Will there be an engagement party? Did you decide the theme of the weddi-"

"Liam transfer his talkative nature to her," Bryson sighs and puts his head on my shoulders and cuddles me
I chucked and asked, "you are tired?"
