BRYSON KNIGHT POV~
"Finally the meeting is over," I said as my clients left my office. I hated that yesterday we came back and I left Pearl alone again
I check my phone and there is no message from her 'she must be sleeping' I'm very curious about what she is gonna tell me and I'm scared too
I was about to put my phone back but a message showed it was from Pearl. She is coming. I can't stop smiling.
"What's with this smile boss?" I totally forgot that Liam is still here
"Pearl is coming so Zach she wants to tell us something important," I said
"Oh, that's great! I will then order her favorite pineapple juice, your ice tea and for Zach sir, I will order chocolate coffee," saying that he was about to leave but I stopped him
"Order caramel coffee for my friend Liam too," I said grinning at him
"Whatever you say, boss," he said with a pleasant smile and leave
After about twenty minutes my office door opens. I was expecting Pearl but it was Zach.
"Sorry to burst your bubbles but I'm not Pea," he said lazily sitting in front of me.
"So did you check the files on the memory card?" I ask him
"Nope, it's all up to Pearl whether she wants to show us or not,"

"Where is she?" Zach asked after five minutes
"I don't know she said she would be here within fifteen minutes," I said.
"and how much time has passed?" Zach ask
"Around thirty minutes," I said as I trembled thinking of possibilities why she is late
"You should call her," Zach said
"Good idea," I said dialing her number
I call again the same answer 'switch off,'
"I'm not feeling good. I think Pearl is in some problem," I said putting my hand on my chest to calm myself.
"Calm down she must be buying lunch for us," Zach said
"But my heart is saying there is something wrong," I said as I suddenly didn't feel good.
"Then let's go and check on her," Zach said standing up. I was about to stand when the office door opened again
'God please let this person be my pearl', I pray
"Snacks are here," Liam said before putting them on the table
He starts looking around then he asks "where is Pea?"
"She didn't come so we are going to check what's wrong," Zach said hurriedly and started to leave but stopped listening to Liam's voice.
"I think I should tell them the truth," Liam muttered
"What's truth?" we both ask in union
"It's not my place to tell but I want to ask you something," Liam said turning towards me. I nodded
"Did she behave weird after she bought pizza surprise in the office?" he asks I think then nodded
"Yes she was," I said
"Well that day when I left your cabin I saw that old cow looking at her more like scarring her I came in between, then he said 'see you soon,' to Pearl, and after that, she started behaving strangely," Liam said.
"You mean she knew that old cow before meeting him here?" I ask angrily
"Yes and when I asked her to tell you about it she said she would tell you but not now," Liam said.
"Oh that's why she keeps saying that she wants to tell something important," I said as I remembered she wants to talk about something where Liam nodded
"I think we should check her memory card. I know she will not mind if we check it," Zach said as he put the memory card on my computer
"I think I should go," Liam nervously said. I know that he doesn't like interfering in someone's personal matters.
"No, stay," I said knowing how much he cared for her. He nodded as we sat beside Zach who was setting my computer to run the files. Soon some files start showing up as there were 3 files naming abuse, documents, and illegal videos
Zach started reading the documents but my mind was there on single folder abuse. I stop Zach and ask him to open the abuse file
He nodded and opened the abuse folder. There were around 21 videos and lots of pictures in which...
Three of us froze. I know how Howard Thomas tortured her but the pictures are worse than my imagination.
"i...thin..k...we...sh..ou...ld...fin..d...her," Liam said with a shaking voice
Zach nodded as my mind ran endless possibilities about the videos. If the pictures are like this what will be the videos about?
"Bryson calm down," I listen to Zach's voice as he hugs me now I see my condition I was shaking like he-l and tears start running I held Zach tightly trying to breathe.
ZACHARY KING POV~
"Bryson takes a deep breath," I said as he was shaking like crazy in my arms after we saw open that abuse folder we saw some images that I can't even define... God, she went through a lot.
"Liam, you fine?" I asked Liam who was still in shock 'I don't know what will happen if we open videos'
"I think we should go and check on Pearl," I said still rubbing Bryson back
"no I think we have to call the Police," Liam said suddenly
"no we can't call them without asking Pearl," I said
"he.. is ..right ..w.e...sho..uld.. ch..e.ck.. on.. Pear.. fir..st," Bryson said trying to get up but fall.
"Bryson is having an anxiety attack," I said to Liam who nodded
"I will bring some medicines," Liam said
"Bryson count from 1 to 10 okay," I said
As he starts counting after some time he calms down
"those images are worse than I imagined," Bryson said after some time
"you knew about all this?" I ask him calmly hiding my shocked look
"yeah she tells me how psycho was her stepfather... he tortured her by....." then Bryson tells us everything all tortures marks everything I didn't realize that tears started flowing from my eyes until Bryson started crying.
"We don't have lots of time, let's find her," Liam said before leaving the office wiping his tears. We both followed him as we settled into my car. Bryson asked me to drive fast which was shocking but I didn't say anything. We reached Bryson's penthouse and he started going toward the elevator
"wait we don't know where she is, let's check the cameras," Liam shouted Bryson stop then nodded.

"she left about three and a half hours ago," I said looking at the camera video
"and her last location is near the central park which turned off about more than three hours ago," Liam added.
"We should call the police," Bryson said
"We can't it's only 3 hours and we are not sure that she is missing or not, she might be somewhere and her phone battery gets low," Liam said.
"so what do we do! I can't wait anymore! I'm going to that ugly bull office I think he has a hand in this," saying that Bryson left

"what do you mean he left?" Bryson asks the receptionist
"Sir, Mr. Potter had a flight four hours ago and he left after his last meeting," she said.
"where he goes?" I ask her
"I don't know maybe back to Russia," she said confusingly
"thank you," Liam said before dragging us outside
"what?" Bryson asks Liam
"I think I know if she is kidnaped by them then they first take her to that Thrasher house or something," Liam said "Boss remember did she ever tell you where she lived in New Jersey?" (here Thrasher is Mr. Thomas)
"no, but I have that Thrasher address," I said as I do a little search on her past behind everyone's back
"what if she is not there?" Bryson asks
"Let me track that ugly bull," Liam said. We both looked at him in confusion
"what I don't like is that old cow and the way he talks to Pearl, so I can ask my friend who works for him to tell me his location," Liam said before pulling out the phone and calling someone.

"Are you sure?" Bryson asks for the eighth time
"yes I'm we can't take flight or our jet it will take the time we should take the road," I said entering the driver's seat.
"Liam you know what to do?" I ask him through the window
"yes sir don't worry I will take those proof and all his illegal work folders from your office before following you," he said.
"see you soon," I said as I started to drive

XAVIER KING POV~
"Your call?" She comes and give me my phone. I looked and saw 'Bryson'.
"what's up Bry?" I ask him
"Xavi..er?" I listen to his broken voice and I stand up
"Bryson, what happened? Are you alright? Is Pea fine?" I ask standing up in worry.
"Nothing is fine Xavier," I listen to my brother's voice
"what happened Zach? Why Bryson is sounding dull?" I ask as my heart starts being fast.
"Pearl is missing," he said
"What?!" I lower my voice and come to the living room "what do you mean she is missing?" I ask angrily
"she asks me to come to Bryson's office and she doesn't show up then...."
"then what Zach?" I asked impatiently. As I feel a hand on my shoulder I turn and see her
"Calm down," she softly said
I took a deep breath "tell me what happens?" I ask "hello?" I ask as they were not saying anything "I'm asking something, you idiots?" I almost shouted but she glared at me "is anyone there Bryson? Zach?"
"it's 'her' isn't it?" Zach ask shock was clear in his voice
"yeah it's her but that's not the point!" I hissed "where is Pea?"
"We don't know where she is. It's only been 9 hours since she is missing and police are not helping so we are on the way to New Jersey to go to her stepfather's house," Zach said.
"Tell me his address I'm in New Jersey I can go and check there," I said wearing my shoes and getting up ready to leave "I will call you in a minute," saying that I hung up and turned towards her.
"I will be back soon," I said kissing her forehead where she nodded and looked down "don't worry this time I will not let you leave me again, if you leave I will find you..... Take care," saying that I left her house.
"You too!" she shouted from behind. I turned towards her and nodded with a small smile
I sit in my car and check the address 'it is about 20 minutes away,' I think, then call Bryson.
"Now tell me from the start what happened and how she got missing?" I ask them as I start driving
"She called me first in the morning asking me to bring a memory card to Bryson's office as she would be there in fifteen minutes but she didn't come after thirty minutes we called her and found her phone switched off," Zach said.
"Then we decided to check her memory card in which there were 3 folders for abuse, documents, and illegal business. We check the documents and illegal business files and learn about all Howard Thomas's dirty work but when we open the abuse folder it...I.. it..was...it" Zach's trial off.
"We didn't even open the videos because the images were so..." Bryson started but at the end, his voice starts to break "she...wa.s..abused ...for...fiv.e...ye.ars." He said as I stopped my car.
"What?!" I ask
"She has been abused for years, brother," Zach repeats "and the images make me feel like throwing up,"
"And she tries to tell me something important but I didn't listen to her. I feel so guilty for breaking my promise that I would always make her happy and make her feel safe and now I see I broke it," he said in frustration
"That broken promise made me lose my love once again," Bryson added and started sobbing
"Don't cry like a baby we need to be strong for her!" I said but inside I'm scared, I'm scared about the past being repeated. I can't take it if something similar happens to Pearl... I start the car
"I'm almost there where are you guys?" I ask them
"We are thirty minutes away from there," Zach said
"call officer Jade and ask her to send help here," I said
"But why we need to call that bit-her I mean?" Zach said annoyingly
"She is the Head Officer! I know her just call her and tell her about the situation. I'm sure she will help us," I said walking out of the car and standing in front of the silent house which was near the mountains and highway
"I'm here,"
"Don't hang up," Bryson said
"Okay," I said and went near the gate "it's locked,"
"break it," Zach said as I took a big stone and started hitting the lock. It broke after the third hit
"I break it I'm going inside,"
"wait," Zach said
"what?" I ask
"Liam texted me he needed to tell us something important. I'm joining the call,"
"what Liam?" Bryson asks
"Boss Pearl... Pearl," He tries to say something
"what Pearl?" I ask
"she was sold to Dylan Potter and he was going to take her to Russia on 2 January but she..."
"..Runaway," I complete the sentence angrily and enter the house. Surprisingly, the house door was unlocked. I open the door and go inside
"Sir is anyone there?" Liam ask as no one spoke
"sh..e hid. e suc..h...a...big..thing..fro...m..me," Bryson said his voice broke but then he took a deep breath "I will kill both of them," he said angrily 'Bryson is the calmest one among us but when he loses his temper he can kill the hulk too' I thought.
"I checked the whole house," I said, "but I didn't find her!"
"check the basement she might be there," Bryson said as I checked for the door to the basement
"There is no basement?" I said confusedly. It's impossible not to have a basement in such a big house
"There is! check near the kitchen," Zach said. "I have checked the blueprint of the house, there is,"
"The door is between the stairs and the kitchen door," Liam said
"There is no door there is a laundr- wait I found it," I said as I shifted the laundry machines and saw a door. I opened it and went down
"what the he-l?!"
"what happened?" Bryson asks
I was frozen looking was is in front of me
"brother say something," Zach said
"Xavier sir what is it?" Liam asks.
"Xavier what is the-"
"she is dead," I said cutting Bryson
