¶ the lightening village ¶ .
★ at the mountain ★.
Nasak slowly staggers on his feet, walking towards a house in the mountain, as he got there, he forcefully opens the door and enters into the house.
As he enters the house, he sits down on a chair and said to himself.
“ how do I start from here ”, in a sad tone.
★ the next day ★.
The morning sun was bright and birds of the morning sings, Nasak rose up from his bed and slowly enters the bathroom, few minutes later he came and walks into the kitchen. The kitchen was dusty and was filled with spider webs from every corner, he slowly use his hands to clear his path, as he opens the cabinet he saw nothing, he became frustrated and as he looks for his side he saw a broom stick. Nasak began to sweep every corner of the house, as he enter the living room he mistakenly knocks down a frame of him and Susan, * thud *, he looks back and saw the picture on the floor, as he squats to pick it, his memories came back to him, he kept quiet for a while, closing his eyes, before he said to himself.
“ this life is full of pain and suffering, we watch the ones we love die, because of power ”, in a low tone.
He rose up and starts from where he stopped, few minutes later he Nasak was dressed and was preparing to head out. He was on a long dark blue cloak with pairs of sandals. He walks out from the house and shut the door behind him.
¶ at the lightening village ¶.
Nasak was slowly walking through the village, he looks around and saw men and women walking to and fro, he saw some guards and some children running around, as he moves further he sights a restaurant, and he walks into the restaurant. Men and women were eating inside of the restaurant, then a woman walks up to him and asked him a question.
She said to him.
“ what do you want to eat ”, accompanied with a smile on her face.
And Nasak kept quiet for a while before he went on saying.
“ am here for food ”, in a stammering tone.
Then he went on saying.
“ I mean i want to eat ”.
And she looks at him, the way he was dressed shows he had no money, the woman observes him for a while before replying him.
She said to Nasak.
“ are you sure you are at the right place ”.
And Nasak replied her saying.
“ yes, so... how do you serve your food, if I may ”.
And she stared at Nasak and said to him.
“ get out of here, you kids are just here messing around, playing up and down, do you think here is a play ground ”, she aggressively yelled at Nasak.
And Nasak began to move back slowly, as she kept moving closer to Nasak, Nasak began move back in fear.
And from one of the booths, a person walks up to the woman and blocks the woman from attacking Nasak.
It was a female figure, she was average in height and her hair colour were red, she wears a metal armor and two unsheathe swords at her back. She walks slowly towards the woman and in fear Nasak moves backwards, and the woman was shivering in fear.
The woman said to Nasak.
“ ok, he can have anything he walks, but just spare my life ”, in a scared tone.
The people in the restaurant rose up and stares at them, while Nasak was trying to escape, then the woman held him and said to him.
“ hey you, where do you think you are going ”, in a bold tone.
And Nasak looks at her with fear in his eyes.
And Nasak said to her.
“ nothing, I will just be going now ”, in a stammering tone.
As Nasak was about to make a run for it, she looks at Nasak and said to him.
“ I was just joking, won't you eat, why are you playing around, i was just joking ”, in an exciting tone with a big smile on his face.
Then some group of women serves Nasak food, as he saw it he began to eat till nothing remains of it.
As Nasak was done eating and was cleaning his mouth, the girl looks at him and said to him with a smile on her face.
“ how are you feeling, hope you are satisfied with yourself “, in a soft tone.
And Nasak looks at her and said.
“ fine thank you, and thank you for the meal, i was not having money on me to pay ”, in a low tone.
Nasak kept quiet for a while as the girl was gazing at the window.
Nasak said to her.
“ I promise you that I will repay you ”, in a bold tone.
He held her hand and this drew her attention, then she said to him.
“ no problem, i think I should start going ”, in a soft tone.
And Nasak held her back and said to her.
“ wait, you never told me your name ”.
And she turns her back at him and said to him.
“ am Siren, and what is your name ”, in low tone.
And Nasak stretches his hand forth to shake her and she shaked him, then she said to him.
“ where do you live ”, in a soft tone.
And Nasak stared at her.
¶ the following day ¶.
★ at the mountains ★.
Nasak was lying down on a couch when he smelled some cooking aroma, he slowly opens his eyes and stood up on his feet, he slowly walks towards his kitchen, getting there he saw Siren, she was on a beautiful dress.
And as she sensed Nasak she said to him.
“ am sorry, i know am not surppose to be here ”, in a soft tone.
She turns her back at Nasak, and he held her hands and as she turns her back Nasak smiles at her and said.
Nasak said to her.
“ I think it looks good on you ”, in a soft tone accompanied with a smile on his face.
And Siren replied him saying.
“ thanks, i saw it inside of a room ”, in a soft tone.
And Nasak kept quiet for a while before he went on saying.
“ it for my aunt ”, in a sad tone.
And Siren looks at him and touches his face.
She said to him.
“ am sorry if i remembered you about her ”, in a caring tone.
And she said to herself.
“ no wonder the doors were locked ”.
And Nasak replied her saying.
“ she and a friend very close to me died months ago ”, in a sad tone.
And Siren stared at Nasak and went on saying to him.
“ am so sorry ”, in a caring tone.
And Nasak looks at her and smiled then he went on saying.
“ I think what you prepared is looking good ”, in a bold tone with a smile on his face.
Nasak looks at what she prepared, as she noticed it she went towards the pot and began to put foods on different plates.
★ few minutes later ★.
Nasak was filled up, and he slowly uses his hands to tap the table slowly, while Siren was still eating.
Then Nasak rose up and took his plates away from the dinning table, as he was going back to the dinning table Siren was walks towards his direction and Nasak stops and said to her.
“ thanks ”, in a soft tone.
And Siren stops and turns her back view at him as he went on saying to her.
“ I really mean it, thank you, it have been long since i have eaten something like this ”, in a calm tone with a smile on his face.
And Siren smile at him and said to him.
“ thanks, i should be the one thanking you for the shelter you offered me, because i really needed somewhere to sleep ”, in a soft tone.
And Nasak walks away from her and said to her.
“ Siren ”, in a bold tone.
And she was stood still and replied him saying.
“ yes ”, with a smile on her face.
And Nasak slowly turns his side view at her and said to her.
“ nice knowing you, Siren “, in a soft tone accompanied with a smile on his face.
★ evening ★.
¶ at the mountains ¶.
Nasak was sitting outside on a rock, observing the beautiful view when Siren walks up to him and said to him.
She said to Nasak.
“ hey, what are you doing here all by yourself, don't you know loneliness is a bad thing ”, in a bold tone with a smile on her.
And Nasak turns his back and replied her saying.
“ yes, am just here observing the beautiful view, by the way, i was wanting to ask you a question ”, in a soft tone.
And Siren replied him saying.
“ and that is ”, in a serious tone accompanied with a suspicious look on her face.
And Nasak rose up and turns his back view against her.
Then he went on saying to her.
“ where are you from, you are not from around here ”, in a serious tone.
As she heard this, she reasoned to herself.
She said to herself with a worried look on her face, she fakes a change on her face.
She said to herself.
“ can it be that he knows my secrets, no body should know why am here, i don't want to kill anyone, i just need to find a way out ”, in a worried tone accompanied with a worried look.
And they both remained quiet for a while, Nasak slowly turns his side view at her.
