★ the following morning ★.
Narrator: they were all up, getting ready to move when suddenly Nasak and the others saw an object moving, unknown to them that it was a trap.
Nasak walks towards the direction where he saw the object, as he was sighted by Stron. Stron yells out to karh to stop him.
Karh said to Nasak.
“ where do you think you are going to, hey am I not talking to you ”, in a bold tone accompanied with a frown on his face.
And Nasak stopped and turns his back at him, he rose up his right hand and said to him.
“ calm down, I just want to take a look at something ”, in a low tone.
And the others nods their heads at him in a negative way, as Nasak sneaks up to the object at the bush, a figured face appears, it was like a mask, as Nasak saw this he said out loud to himself.
“ you are not an animal, I thought you were an object ”, in a surprise tone.
As he stretches his hand to reach for the object, suddenly another hand from no where came out from the bush and covers his mouth making it difficult for him to shout for help, immediately his hand was placed on his mouth, Nasak passed out, slowly dropping his hands on the ground.
°°°. The figure emerged from the bush, and slowly draggers Nasak into the bush, the dragging sound of Nasak's body drew Karh attention, as he turns his back, he saw nothing the only thing he saw was the bush moving, like something entered the bush, Karh looks away and shakes his head.
As they were already moving, they had no idea that Nasak was not with them. They kept moving on till they got to a destination far away from their camping site, then Stron said to them.
“ now we all know what is going to happen next ”, in an audible tone accompanied with a serious look on his face.
With his back view turned against them, as they heard this, they all nods their head and followed Stron as he led the way.
Nasak slowly opens his eyes, as he regained consciousness, he looks around just to discover that he was tied up on a tress, me while, behind of him were men on black, they had a symbol on their forehead, they were all armed. Nasak struggles to get free when suddenly a manly figure walks up to him.
The manly figure was slightly muscular, he was on a black hoodie, he had sheathed swords on his back, he was on a black cloth, his mouth was covered freeing only his eyes.
He walks up to Nasak and said to him.
“ huh ”, in a soft tone.
He examines Nasak as he was upside down, his breath touches Nasak's head, Nasak struggles to avoid it.
He went on saying to him.
“ so, you are the Nasak of a boy huh, I can't believe how easy it was for us to capture you ”, in a bold tone accompanied with a mischievous smile on his face.
And Nasak replied him saying.
“ where am I, just tell me ”, in a soft tone.
And the man uses his knife to cut off the rope that was used in tie Nasak up, as Nasak falls down the man squats down and said to him.
“ let's play a game ”, in a suspicious tone accompanied with it's look.
As Nasak noticed what he had done, he had a weird feeling, telling him not to agree, but he was too impatient.
And Nasak replied him saying.
“ and how do we play it ”, in a bold tone while staring at him.
~~~~ while, the others were a far away, as they all sat down, Stron drops his bag and walks at the front of an opened bush, as he slowly took a step further, he mistakenly triggers a trap and suddenly a * spark * occurred. Karh could sense danger from afar, he could see and arrow coming for his head.
Karh yelled out loud, this drew their attention.
He yelled out to Stron saying.
“ get down, it's a trap ”, in a loud tone.
Before Stron even noticed it, as he slowly turns his side view at the direction of the arrow, he saw it and he slowly opens his eyes in fear, while Karh jumps on him, pushing him down and breaking his fall by making Stron to land on him. * Swish *, the arrow went passed him and pierced into a tree.
As Stron breathes in, in relief, he stares at Karh.
Karh said to Stron.
“ I think you instinct is not working right now at the moment ”, in a soft tone accompanied with a smile on his face.
He breathes in and out heavily.
And Stron immediately rose up and turns his back view against them, he smirks and said to them.
“ thanks guys, and one more thing ”, in a bold tone.
He kept quiet for a while before he went on saying.
“ and where is Nasak ”, in a serious tone.
And the others turns back and saw nothing, they were all shocked in fear and Siren said to herself.
“ so you are trying to tell me that all this while, Nasak was not with us ”, in a high tone accompanied with a frown on her face.

Nasak was run as far as his leg could carry him, he got to a certain destination where he stops to catch his breathe, as he looks back and front, he saw nobody coming for him, as he slowly walks away, he heard foot steps coming towards his direction, suddenly a man jumped on him, he aggressively slams him down to the ground, as he began to run, they began to shoot arrows at him, as he noticed that he stands no chance as them, he stopped and turns his back. As Nasak stretched his hand forward, a black energy beam came out from his hand and went forward, the black beam exploded and the bush caught fire, * boom * a loud explosion occured. After the explosion, Nasak placed one of his knee on the ground and he held his right hand and groan in pain, a black energy beam surged his hands, a black smoke came out from his hand. His hands were already burning, he struggles to fight the pain.
Suddenly he heard a voice.
“ Nasak boy, you must master this power first before you can use it ”, in a bold tone.
And Nasak replied the voice saying.
“ I have used it before, I don't know how to control this pain ”, in a weak tone.
Nasak was groaning in pain and he could only move his fingers, he was slowly blanking out when the voice went on saying to him.
“ Nasak, stop, you don't know what you are messing with, this power is a curse, this is the power of the black gem ”, in a weak tone.
And Nasak rose up his head and said to the voice.
“ who are you ”, in a weak tone.
And the voice yawned before slowly replying.
“ Sr....a..lee ”, in a low tone.
As the voice faded away, unknown to him that Sralee used his Mana to substain him. Nasak sighs heavily and slowly regains consciousness.
Nasak staggers on his feet and said to himself.
******* “ I need to find the others ”, in a surprise tone accompanied with a surprise look on his face.
While, Stron and Karh were running towards Nasak direction, when suddenly the manly figure appeared and blocks them from passing through.
As Karh saw him, he could tell that he was one of the chasus.
And Karh said to the others.
“ his a Chasus, get away from him ”, in a bold tone.
And as the manly figure dashed into them, Stron used his fist to punch him on his stomach, sending him flying through some trees, as Stron turned his back, unknown to him that the manly figure was a clone, the original one, dashed onward towards him, clenching his fists when suddenly from nowhere, Nasak emanated yellow fire ball from his hand and sends it towards the manly figure. The yellow fire ball came towards his direction with a tremendous force that was felt by the others, as the ball slowly reaches it destination, the manly figure was frozen in fear. And slowly the fire ball exploded and envelopes him, the explosion slowly created a power vacuum that swallows everything in sight, the force slowly draggers the others but they resisted it.
°°°°. Few minutes later after the explosion, the others slowly got up on their feets and dusts their bodies, while as Nasak was still lying down, Siren dashed into him and rose up his head. Nasak slowly opens his eyes and sights Siren above him with a smile on her face, as he slowly got up, Siren said to him.
“ never do this to me again ”, in a low tone accompanied with a worried look on his face.
While Karh and Stron were having a conversation.
Karh said to Stron.
“ I have noticed that you have not been yourself lately, it seems that you have lost your instinct after our last encounter with the previous Chasus ”, in a soft tone accompanied with a serious look on his face.
As Stron heard this, he aggressively walks out on Karh, Karh could tell through his facial expression but he manages to keep his cool.
Stron walks out on them and smirks at Karh, he said to himself.
“ I promise you Salhdar, I will take off your diamond eyes away from your body ”, in a deep and determine tone.
While from the shadows a figure spies at them, it was dark, only his eyes were exploded. The figure teleported away from the scene, as Stron sensed it, he swiftly dashed there just to see a broken branch, he could tell that they were been watched.
