Ivy's POV
"Remember I get to decide your destiny till this twenty four hours roll out." I said warning her against rolling her eyes again at me.
" Gross, am sorry your majesty." She said with that sincerity far away from her and her form.
" Don't bother cause I know that meant hell after today." I said while I walk towards granny bed ready for her to explain to us why she kept is waiting for the past three years.
" So tell us granny, why you didn't show up for three good years." Mia asked just the moment my mom walk in to call us for dinner.
Good timing, I thought as I walk behind them sluggishly as we all make our way downstairs to the dinning where my mom have already made different dishes available.
We all took our different seat at the table while we dish out the food we wanted although, that's after praying and after waiting for grandma to take hers first.
I was really happy that we have a family together after so much fight and argument we had in the morning before I left for school.
Taking some potatoes and egg on my plate, I began to peal off the bodies ( skin) before dividing them into equal half and a portion which I can swallow even though they are hot, I still have to survive eating this cause I am really hungry.
Their stupidity this morning didn't allow me to eat to the fullest so now is the time which has come for me to eat as much as possible of what I want.
Doing away with the peal, I mashed them together making potato pounding then I place my fried egg on it and began to scoop them into my mouth.
" Hmmmmmmmmm..." My mom cleared her throat as she take in some water to push down the rice which she is eating.
" So... Ivy...." She called pausing while I take off my eyes from my food to take a look at her as she held both her fork and knife to tear open a chicken limb.
" Yes mom, what do you have to say to me that is making you kind of this tense most especially, it like it's making you fight with your inner self. If you know it would not sound good before me then do great at not letting it out because am so hungry that I can't spear you anymore second glance."
I stated then look down in my food while I continue to munch on it louder than before for her to get the clue that am not interested in anything coming from her mouth.
" I wanted to...." She started but I cut in my making my spoon and plate hit each other.
" You should bare in mind that I was unable to eat this morning because of your talk while I was about eating breakfast so please I prefer to have a little pice of mind while I take in this food.
You should know how angry I would be if I didn't get to eat my favorite food when it comes to anything tub." I said while I look away from her and continue eating again.
" You should consider the Alpha son, it's for you good Ivy." She said and my head only spin like a bomb is being released inside of it.
" Mom!" I screamed while I could feel myself getting heat up as I angrily stare at her while I stab my food in the middle.
" Can't you just learn to let go and allow me to have a good decent food in weeks now just for the sake that granny is here!" I asked while yelling at her angrily.
" It's just because of you Ivy, am telling you this just for your sake daughter." She said making stand on my feet as I angrily push out my seat then bed over r to her place at the table.
"You don't get to tell me what to do mom, not anymore. If you want to gain the king's favor this much, you can do well by going to the palace and give yourself to him, I don't know why you are so bent on making me do what I don't want to do.
If you won't stop bothering me, I won't think twice before leaving your house and never show up again. Then Maybe you would be able to have another daughter whom you can just decided her own destiny for her just don't cross your line with me!" I said hitting the table with my fist.
" I only want the best for you child." She said getting up from her seat while she tries to come over to my side.
" If your mom had decided for you then, I am sure you would have become a Luna who has no happiness you have now and my dad would have being mated and it's either he dies or he survive.
Bit obviously, you didn't listen to her then why should I listen to you,? Why try to pass on what your mom wants you to be down on me? Am not the only one you gave birth to obviously so stay away and if you can't then get something to glue your mouth together."
I said while I walk off with a basket full of fruit which was laying at the middle of the table then I make my way to my bedroom inorder to have my peace back.
" Ivy com back here now and finish the meal you started!" I heard my dad yelled behind me while I take the first stairs.
" She can have them all since she doesn't want me to eat one good meal in her house anymore then I will stop eating her meal!" I yelled also while taking more stairs that lead to my room...TBC
