Ivy's POV
Like she has always dose,the class was only held for forty minutes but more than eighty students are being sent out of the hall while the rest keep to her rules.
The moment she stepped out, I also did step out alongside Mia whom I kept on dragging cause mom just informed me granny is back home.
I drag Mia until we reached the garage before I told her what really happened which made her scream and jump up in the air.
" We should better head home now before they all get to finish everything she brings from the earth kingdom." Mia said as she entered her car and start the engine.
I also did so with my car then drove behind her till she stop Infront of a shop which made me curious done how because I am not changing my phone neither is she doing so then what are we doing here.
I was about placing a call through her when she called me instead and reminded me of what I wanted to do after school.
But I told her I was not going to change my number because of a stupid boy who wouldn't stop disturbing my life.
With that, I only got a laptop from there before heading home back. Driving really crazy to see who would be the first to see granny between the two of us.
It's just a normal fair game we do play every time granny is around and who ever win would be treated as a queen till the end of the day while the one who loses who have to go by the rules and regulations of the winner.
Most especially, the winner would make the loser do things she knows the loser who never do or whatever the loser thought of moving to another set of days.
Most especially, Mia would always make me wear what I do want to especially when I have decided to stop wearing anything girly, she would make me wear them if she wins.
While if I do win, I would make her wear boyish things since she don't like wearing them in the name of she is looking for her mate and doesn't know when he would show up.
She would add she does not want to confuse him so that he would not think he was mated to a male like him.
Who would want his mate to be a male like him? No one because they don't want the world to have their eyes in them all because they are mater differently.
I would laugh and roll on my stomach anytime she gives that excuse of not wanting her mate to be scared of approaching her and shaming those who thought no one would want her.
Driving into the compound with Mia pressing on the horn crazily, I then intensional slow my car just to make her really impatient while I laughed impatient behavior.
Taking my phone, I place a call through her but she didn't pick it, I tried for the second time, she didn't and the third time, she hesitated before she picks it up.
"I can't imagine how you will feel in those big top and trousers of mine, and your mate should surprisingly show up. Boom he is mated to a guy!" I said while she screamed she is going to kill me into the phone.
With one leg on pressed on the gas, I speed up into the garage then packed my car before running out of it into my house.
Slamming the door open,I instantly screamed for my granny to show up while I run down the stairs still calling out her name till I reached her bedroom and slam the door open.
The moment my granny saw me, she engulfed me in a bear hug while Mia came running in till she reaches tge entrance where she took in breath before entering fully and hugged her also.
We were in her arms for few more seconds hugging ourselves in silence while listening to the nature around us.
" I have missed you both and look at you, you have grown into a woman of both beauty and pride." Granny said after unhooking ourselves from the hug.
" Now we are going out and we both are wearing the same dress which is baggy baggy." I said just like she has always refer to my clothes as baggy baggy.
" You girls haven't given up on this game you do play whenever I am around have you?" She asked while running her fingers into our hair in a cute way.
" We have been waiting for this in three years and you just showed up which means we would not have to wait for this moment and game anymore till next year." I said while she chuckled.
" That's true granny, you left us for three years. It's really good to have you back even though I would be tge one treating Ivy like a queen till twenty four hours pass away." She said with that cute puppy dog face begging me to be fair on her.
" Don't worry, I wouldn't want you getting back at me next year for what I am about to do to you this year, I mean today." I said with a cute smile whole she snorted.
"Remember I get to decide your destiny till this twenty four hours roll out." I said warning her against rolling her eyes again at me.
" Gross, am sorry your majesty." She said with that sincerity far away from her and her form.
" Don't bother cause I know that meant hell after today." I said while I walk towards granny bed ready for her to explain to us why she kept is waiting for the past three years.
" So tell us granny, why you didn't show up for three good years." Mia asked just the moment my mom walk in to call us for dinner.
