Chapter 20: Rose

The resentment that had been suppressed from last night until now broke out, tears fell, Anthea said seriously.
"I broke up with Bevis, I don't want to put up with his lies anymore."
Doris was silent to receive the information, took a moment to react, and raised her eyebrows.
"I told you before. Bevis is not a good man, away from him your life will be better."
Doris clenched her cell phone tightly, urgently patting Anthea, disgruntled, saying she should have done it sooner. Bevis is not the first time having an affair, Anthea being with him until now is already very lenient.
"Now I feel very fortunate that I didn't follow Bevis's advice before, and went to his company to work as an assistant. Otherwise, I would have easily become unemployed now."
Anthea was silent, there was luck in misfortune, and fortunately she had never had any intention of depending on Bevis.
"Right now I'm just worried about my mother."
She clenched her fists nervously.
"Although your mother is very pleased with him, your happiness is the most important. Just tell your mother about everything, I think she will understand."
Doris of course knew what Anthea was thinking, took care of everything for her, and sighed softly. Anthea's mother is a modern woman, she is very supportive of Anthea's early love, and is pleased with the appearance of Bevis. But the play was over, Anthea should have found a better man by now.
They talked about some of an anthea's plans on the back when they left Bevis. From opening a small party, good welcome back to single life to informing both families. Everything is Bevis's fault, so Anthea can rest assured that there will be no adverse effect on her.
"There's still one more thing I want to say."
As time went on, Anthea dared to speak timidly, nervously stammering.
"What's going on?"
Doris doubts or asks questions.
"Yesterday, while drunk, I slept with my manager." Anthea felt the whole person tense, the words trembled. Until now, it has been very unable to receive this information.
"Anthea, all right, you're brave."
Doris couldn't help but exclaim, not expecting Anthea, while drunk, to make this kind of thing.
"Tell me, do I need to quit my job to hide from the truth?" Anthea cried without a tear of proposal. Thinking of dalziel's frequent encounters, Anthea wanted to disappear from his sight.
"There's no need to hurry, I don't know if he doesn't care about it. Considering his expression and calculating, it is normal for adults to deal with needs."
Doris was an experienced person, with just a few sentences that shook Anthea's original intention to quit. Doris didn't say anything, reminding Anthea to rest well and hang up the phone.
After hanging up the phone, Anthea decided to put all the afflictions in the back of her head and fall asleep. So many things happen, she needs more time to regain her spirits, the afternoon also has to face Bevis to end the feeling.
Time passed so quickly, Bevis was on time. Looking at the tall man standing in front of her, Anthea only felt disgusted to the extreme, not understanding why she had just fit his eyes.
"My brother's stuff hasn't been touched yet, if you don't take it back, you can throw it in the trash."
Anthea finished speaking, waved her hand, and sat down on the living room sofa and watched Bevis clean up. Bevis was a thick-faced man who, after all that, not only did not regret it, but also naturally began to talk to Anthea.
"Rush to kick me out of the house, let another man move in?" In his eyes, Anthea is the typical type of workaster, When they love each other' time to meet, dating is very little, he is lonely so he goes looking for someone else. This word is intended to tease you.
"You and I are not the same kind of people, don't assume I lack the same affection as you." Anthea leaned against the back of the sofa, closing her eyes.
"Remind me, did you come to my house today and your little lover didn't follow you?"
Anthea accepted the truth and quickly adapted, adjusting her posture to look at watch. In her memory the other day, it was a weak girl who knew how to use tricks, which seemed to manage very tightly. She was curious if this person could manage Bevis's flower habits.
"She's busy at work, so she'll be there soon. Aren't you jealous, are you?"
Bevis flexibly packed her suitcase, toward a grinning Anthea. Anthea was used to Bevis's acting, so she wasn't shy about glancing at him.
"Don't put gold on your face. Stay away from me for a moment, I don't want your new lover to come back and cause trouble."
Bevis just laughed in no answer, and after a while the doorbell rang, it was clear that Bevis's new lover had arrived. Bevis immediately got up and opened the door, and the girl appeared to be in an unhindered place and swoft into his chest.
"Bevis, I miss you're going to die."
Anthea watched the two of them talk quietly, calmly, not as sadly as she thought.
"Inside, I'll go to the kitchen and get water."
