Alexandra walked towards the ward in which Julie was kept. Although, she wasn't allowed to visit Julie because it was heavily guarded by two guards. However, she still got informed that Julie was in coma.
For peter and Perry, their plans must have worked out which meant they own miss Lucy's properties once more, thanks to Georgina's brilliant idea. Alexandra took a ride back to the prison where miss Lucy was kept and gave her the report. It weakened miss Lucy as her heart feared if Julie would stay strong to survive.
Brian had gotten to miss Lucy's apartment when he suddenly saw the door opened. He got inside and found the whole place scattered as though someone broke in a while ago because the place was void of human. He walked into her room and glanced at the mirror, he had peek at her that night of her arrest. Brian surveyed the apartment and wrote down iotas of evidence that he got. He drove towards an address which he sneaked earlier from Oliver's desk. It was a witness at the incident that happened to keva. When he arrived at the deserted area, he was almost attacked, but had to convince the people around that he came in peace. They were more like thugs around there who one could assign to do any dirty job. It took Brian quite a while to get the real story behind the scenes of keva's death,, and it seems like a shock to him.
Soon he left for his house. Immediately he got to the doorstep, he realized his door was opened too and quickly, he ran inside only to see Rodger sitting on the cushion with crossed legs and three bouncers behind him.
“Hello” Rodger mocked, laughing hysterically
“What are you doing here?” He asked pacing towards him and the two bouncers obstructed Brian's view, but Rodger beckoned on them to step back while he stood up.
“Do you think I would forget rushing?” Rodger groaned, placing his hands in his pockets and Brian scoffed.
“It's so surprising you broke her heart” he furthered. Brian glared at Rodger and then whined
“If it's about Lucy…then forget about it… I've got nothing to say”
“Yes you do…and that's why your end has come!” He barked as Brian ordered him to leave the house, but rather Rodger laughed once more.
“I don't care about her, she could die for all I care! At least one problem is solve… I'm here for you!” He sneered, bringing out a gun and pointed at Brian who used his feet to kick it off Rodger's hand.
“Get out! Now!” Brian ordered, picking up the gun to point at Rodger who smirked at him.
“It's empty…”
Rodger ordered the three men to hold unto Brian, but Brian fought out of their grip. Nevertheless, they were able to tamed down the lion.
“You think you're smart! To have destroyed what I worked for! You and Lucy!” He hollered, punching Brian on the stomach.
“In Mexico…you thought you've won it all” he furthered, folding his fist.
“My business! And you almost got me locked up too but anyway, I left dear…” He mocked while pausing.
“Poor Lucy…she got disappointed even after proving her innocence…she would have just come running to me as always…but…she went to you rather!” He barked, hitting Brian on the head with a baton which he brought along.
“Don't think I'm scared of you…!” Brian beckoned, almost exhausted.
“Perhaps…you don't regret your actions…well just be aware that when you die…it would be too late to say sorry!” Rodger snapped as he ordered the men to kill him. Rodger had anger written all over his face as he watched to see Brian being killed and at same time exposing the conspiracy done against miss Lucy besides Rodger had his spies everywhere. A gunshot was suddenly heard and Rodger fell to the ground, soon the three men dropped dead too. Brian raised his eyes high and found Oliver standing before him. He ran towards Brian to help him up.
“Oliver?” Brian muttered, wiping the blood that drool from his mouth.
“We need to get you out of here” Oliver suddenly panicked and Oliver shoved him aside while hurrying to the study room.
“Brian, listen to me!”
Brian flipped all the files in his hands at Oliver's feet.
“I'm tired of listening to you, Oliver!!” He barked as though he was going to blow off his head.
“What did I ever do? I just saved you, and you're screaming at me?”
“No, you weren't here to save me but yourself from being exposed… Oliver! You” he paused and roared, falling to his knees.
“I guess he told you the truth” Oliver mused, sighing deeply and then loading his gun with bullets.
“I only did that to protect myself, Brian”
“Shut up! You framed Lucy when you were actually the one who killed Keva! That night!”.
Oliver pointed the gun at Rodger's dead body and then at Brian.
“He told you?”
“You all were walking against Lucy! Oh my goodness! What have I done!” He cursed and Oliver swallowed
“Let's end this here…since you prefer not to listen to me anymore!” Oliver yelled and shot Brian on the shoulder. He fell to the ground and Oliver walked towards him.
“You would have been saved if you had listened to me and just walk away” he mocked.
“No one is coming to safe you.” Oliver furthered and immediately, Brian used his hands to pull Oliver by the leg, so he could fall to the ground. In a hast, punched Oliver until he was unconscious and then dragged his legs towards a table, there he picked a device which he used to record all the conversation he had between the two men. He had it all planned from the beginning. First, he sent a provoking message to Rodger to come over, secondly, he also asked to see Oliver that there was an important personnel who needed to speak with him.
