"The owner of the brothel is a seelie fairy name Violet. It's not her real name. After Fortuna got its name she came here and build the brothel. There were around one hundred women working for her before. But since there is a new whore house in town her girls got pirated by the new competition. Now she only have 20 girls working for her. She needs new
workers." Anais informed both Eelie and Akana as they walk to get to the brothel.
"So why are we applying to her instead of the newer whore house?"
"Because the chances of getting hired is higher. And the centaur still frequents her place cause he's still under her payroll." Anais explained.

"We're near the brothel ready yourself." The ghost informed Eelie whos still walking awkwardly. Obviously not happy with the kimono she's wearing.
"Just follow my lead and smile." Anais instructed them. Then after that she approached a blonde very petite woman. Who readily smile after she saw Anais.
"Anais what brought you here in my place?" The fairy asked.
" I need a job. Do you have vacancy?" she asked bluntly.
"You know I always have a place for you here."
"Aside from me I also brought some friends. I hope you also have a space for them here." She then signaled both Eelie and Akana to approach her and the fairy. Akana readily do it while Eelie still a bit sulky followed reluctantly.
"I got two applicants Akana and Eelie."
Madam violet look at them intently. As if studying them from head to foot.
"Can you two please turn around." se instructed.
Eelie and Akana just followed the seelie fairys words.
The fairy that look like she's only on her early 40s. But since akana knows that looks can be deceiving in this part of the world the fairy is probably atleast a thousand years old.
"Is this your first time to work on a brothel?" She asked.
"My lady they are tourist and just needed money. They are not planning to make this their permanent source of income."
"But We don't need part timers here."
"But you need newcomers. Come on my lady look at them. They look young and fresh. The soldiers will definitely love them."
"What's their name again?"
"The petite one with shoulder length black hair is Eelie and the girl with orange long hair is Akana."
"Boring names change it to rose and camilla. The clients like sweet and delicate sounding name."
You mean we're hired? Akana asked excitedly
"Yes but I will test you first. Some women that applied here thought they can handle the job but last minute they get cold feet. I want to test if you are cut out for this." She then look at Eelie who is not even smiling.
"You're wondering if we're desperate enough to sell our body for money." Eelie said.
Even though the brothel is playing loud and lively music and there are many colorful lights. The devil can sense the desperation of the whole place. Female creatures waiting to take money from gullible customers. It's dreary and sad at the same time. Eelie is very familiar with this kind of places. She frequently fetch souls from whore houses.
"So you can talk I thought you're mute. You're right. We need workers that can satisfy our costumers. We will not force you to do anything you don't want to. But once you're here there are expectation. Can you handle the job?"
"I don't have much option. Thieves went to our hotel rooms earlier and took one of our friend hostage and then steal all our gold. We needed the money to get out of here. As Anais said We are not planning to do this long term. After we get what we need, we are going to leave immediately." Eelie explained.
"Fair enough. But since you're not going to work here long. It's 50-50. we're going to take 50 percent of your earnings."
"That's too much." Akana protested.
"Don't worry, you still have the tips you'll earn from customers. We will only take twenty five percent commision from that. And if you're able to make them order a lot of food and drink you will also earn commision. You will get the money you need in no time."
Akana look at Eelie pretending like theyre actually interested with the money they're going to earn.
" We won't be sleeping with anyone." Eelie declared.
"That's too bad cause you will earn double if ur costumer rented one of the rooms." Madam Violet informed her.
"Were not that desperate." Akana said.
"We'll see. You'll start tonight. So better be ready. Customers will start coming in an hour."
"Lavender give them designated numbers. Tell the
costumers we got new faces."
After she gave final instruction to the girls madam violet inspected the bar and check if the rooms were clean.
"You think the centaur will come tonight." Akana asked the devil?
"He better I'm not planning two do this again tomorrow."
"Don't worry the centaur already knew there are new girls. I already spread the news about two beautiful newbies at Madam Violets brothel. He will come." The ghost said.
"Let's study the whole place we might need to escape later." The devil suggested.
Akana, Margaret and Eelie split up and looked for escape route in case. While Anais talk to the girls to ask more information.
Eelie decided to check the rooms and see which one have secret doors. Most brothels have hidden hallway and passages just incase authority decided to do their jobs and raid the place. Even in this world prostitution is frowned upon but openly practiced.
Most rooms are locked except for one. Eelie open the door of the room. A woman is inside. She's in front of vanity mirror fixing herself.
Eelie was about to close the door when the woman spoke. "you must be the new girl. What's your name?"
"According to madam Violet I'm Camilla." Eelie replied.
"I'm Cherry then. You look pretty but you Dont fit here." shes quite straightforward. "Madam must really be desperate."
"What do you mean?"
Youre a devil but I can smell a human scent from you. So you walked among them before. But you're not a prostitute I think you're more of a murderer. You also smell of their blood."
"You're very smart and detailed oriented. No wonder since you're a succubus, a predator. You fit right in."

The succubus just smiled and went back in fixing herself. The devil just silently close the door and then continue on looking for some secret exit.
On the hallway she saw the ghost. "Where is Akana?" The devil asked.
"She's with the girls and Anais gathering info about the centaur."
"What if he doesn't picked us?"
"Don't worry he will. He likes new faces. You just have to be a little careful since he's quite rowdy and touchy. You need tons of patience in case he chose you."
"I should be worrying about you and Akana. Both of you have small fuse."
"I can handle him. By the way there are exit doors in all rooms. This place is pretty much simple. Not much of a secret."
"You need to be careful. You can't go on roaming around. This is not like earth."
"The keyholder already told me about it. But honestly I don't feel exhausted at all I actually feel more powerful."
