THEIR POV
“You guys won’t believe what I just found out”
 “What did you find out?”
Senator Lawal said.
“There is a golf place for us where we could truly find solace”
Senator Tunde said in a more relaxing tune
“Really? Where?”
Chief Oluwaseun said excitedly.
“It’s not too far from the museum either and we now have a place for entertaining ourselves”
Senator Tunde concluded with a smile on his face.
“That’s true, please do take us by dusk to go find this place”
Chief Oluwaseun said.
“I do pity you most times you know”
“Why?”
“I mean you’re sincerely left with nothing apart from the scar caused to you by that female brat. Gosh I hate that girl so much. Why didn’t death just allow us to rest in peace?”
Senator Tunde said in anger.
“I thought I’ve been the only one with such a thought of anger, because I do not see a use to this afterlife making us come here to meet with the same wrongs we wish we parted our separate was quite helpful”
Senator Lawal added.
“I still love the idea no doubt that we have to do a clean job once and for all”
Chief Oluwaseun said, looking at the rest with a smile.
“Anyways, what are we eating for breakfast this morning?”
He asked, looking at their faces.
“I dey go out go buy the food oo (I’m going out to buy mine)”
Senator Lawal said.
“Where?”
Senator Tunde said with his eyes wide.
“Because since we come here I no taste wetin good, Na wetin no good full this place, tweh! (Since we came here, I haven’t eaten any delicacy, the rest are eye sores)
“Let’s go together then, since una no wan cook. (Let’s go together then, since no one is willing to cook)”
The trio left their house and set out to go to the restaurant Senator Lawal had praised. Each of them has their own characteristics and traits of approval. Senator Tunde only agrees to an idea or plan if it is flawed, fully evil and very dubious. He is very cold and has a high rate of choices. So the rest depends on him for successful evil plans.
Senator Lawal is the one with the taste buds, he is highly selective of foods and he always stretches out to the best that there is.  If left alone can dwell in the love of alcohol, drinks and drinks. He has an accurate thermometer for tasting and testing. So they trust him for the best foods.
Chief Oluwaseun is more like the executor of the plans, the idea inventor and the heartless one. Nothing he has ever done is truly an example of the state of his heart, apart from his loyalty to his friends. Aside from the horns we believe the devil has there is no difference in them both.
His taste buds for committing wickedness is like the unresisting desire of a vampire for blood, swift to kill and destroy.
Senator Tunde is often referred to as the vampire himself, he has no self-control when it comes to shedding blood either, he’s worse than a doctor doing a surgery and the patient didn’t make it. But there is an after effect to him, due to how many people he dealt with that day. He ends up like a psych, shouting and laughing drastically. Most after effect could be the fact that he might get himself hurt. These were the torments of the ones he killed.
These events still took place in his mind as he pulled out the seat and fixed himself to a position comforting enough.
Smirks.
“What’s with the long face Tunde? Like though you are in a trance or something?”
“Just remembered how many after effects I get after my surgery”
Yes that’s what he calls them, surgery. He calls the butchering of young females surgery. And why all this killing at first?”
Senator Tunde worked in the hospital during his teenage years, though he wasn’t the doctor idol back then, but he was putting his best to be the best in the field of surgery but every time he did that he kept on failing.
At one of the crucial times he was to operate a lady for his exams to be promoted to the bigger clan of being at least the top ten surgeons. Just as he tried his best, the ticking clock was going, with all carefulness he took out every obstruction and made that he did well and then the time went and his patient shock not a hand, with disappointment on his face, he shifted away from the body though looking very upset but tried to keep calm. Then just as the body was about to be covered and rolled away, then her finger moved.
“That was the happiest day of my life”
Senator Tunde thought out loud, leaving the rest confused.
“Are you okay Tunde? Do we need to run a check-up or something?”
“No. just going through my mind of how I lost it”
“Mehnn….. The way you’re just staring at us and saying those words like though you’re looking for blood to drink!”
Senator Lawal said engaging him into eating the delicious meal.
So, that didn’t end there. It was indeed the best day of his life. Receiving congratulations from his colleagues ease the best thing that could happen to him and the fact that he was later recognised by the chief surgeon of the department was a wonderful thing for him,
“Congratulations Tunde”
“Thank you so much Sir”
Who would have thought that such a humble and gentle guy would turn out to be a blood sucking machine? And how many of these persons still exist? I mean ones that had predicted their future based on their past.
It all started on the night to the rescue of his sister, who needed surgery immediately as a result of a ghastly accident she ran into, some internal bleeding here and there.
“Can you handle the surgery?”
“Yes sir”
“I’ll send you an assistant immediately, begin the operation”
“Okay sir!”
Tunde ran inside the OR and kept her in front of the light, this was nothing similar to the ones he had done before so battles fear and confidence in his mind.
“You can do this Tunde” he constantly would remind himself but I guess, too much ado for nothing. He started the surgery anyway and worked with time. Just at the exact time every normal surgery would end, he was one with the surgery but she didn’t wake up yet. Just as he shifts back from the body to remind himself that she needs time to wake. He kept whispering her name but it took time.
While he was still standing, his assistant was packing.
“Tunde! Where is NO.9 of the stitch pin?”
“It’s on the table”
“No... It’s not!”
“Please do check wee, I removed every pin that was in her body “
Then his colleague stood erect and looked at him whose suspicious thought was almost becoming true.
He quivers in fear, his hands begin to shake and he looks at his sister’s body.
“No!! No!!! No!!!!!!”
He said going back to the body without care this time he tears the stitches to go find the stitch pin that his assistant lied about, he searched all over her body, that was the day he came in contact with so much blood, his eyes were dizzy and his hands was shaking, after finding out that he was fooled by his colleague…. He became so angry that he made him kill his sister and from taking revenge at killing him till it became addictive.
“I was being played the fool on a very important day of my life. How funny was that?”
He said out loud again and took a gulp of the ice soda that laid in front of him.
“Why don’t you share these thoughts with us, Tunde?”
Chief Oluwaseun suggested.
“No! Don’t bother”
“Well then since we are not going to have a peaceful meal, who wishes to hear my own part of the Story”
Senator Lawal brought up, breaking the silence.
“Okay! Go ahead, we are all ears about finding out the reason behind the losing of your mind”
Yes! The old saying something must kill a man is the case of senator Lawal, before he got his hands into what made him a trafficker.
Lawal, like every first male child, grew into a family of demand. He was the first son and not the first child but so much was being demanded from him.
“Lawal! When are you going to learn how to bake bread?”
“Lawal! The sun has set again, what do you plan on doing for yourself?”
“Lawal! Bread do not visit any man on his doorstep you’ll never hear it knock twice not even once.”
His father was always his alarm before he left for work, he reminded him that he had to meet each day. And if any morning Lawal felt like he could guess exactly what his father was about to say that morning to his shock his father gave a different quote.
His response every morning was
“Okay father!”
Lawal smiles.
“That was my father for you every morning, a family and an average businessman”
“You actually kind of lived the luxury men like me craved after”
Chief Oluwaseun said.
“Go ahead”
Senator Tunde chipped in.
“But then that morning was quite different….”
Senator Lawal said to continue.
That morning Lawal did not hear anything from his father, he paid keen attention but nothing, he ran out of his bedroom to be sure that his father was fine. His mom was already late, his dad was all he got.
He called out to his father but the man turned around and looked at him and then left with his briefcase.
“I’ll make you proud father”
“I remember shouting this that morning but then I felt that he had had enough of me in his house.”
“I wasn’t that lazy, I took a job as a research official for a science group and though I wasn’t paid that much for the amount of effort I put in to work, I was part of something big”
Yes that something big was what landed him into doing what he was doing. Bear the reading, don't be in a rush to find out what happened.  That day while carrying out some research as usual, he finds out from another website that the science group he belongs to is an Arabic trafficking organization, young girls are their experimental tools for any new addictive drugs they made, some of them end up dead, some abused, some controlled.
“I was in shock that I’m involved in an illegal community, what an innocent mind I had back then”
Senator Lawal said with a smile on his face.
“Luck met you well, I didn’t meet you with just a fragile state of heart I would have made a nice stair pie with your flesh”
Senator Tunde thought out.
“You will soon take the place of the most diabolic man amongst us here”
Senator Lawal said as he continued.
“I planned to opt out then…..
But his father came back drunk, so did he think. He rushed out leaving the decline option pending. He went immediately to help his father, but the man had no smell of strong wine or alcohol on him.
That became worrisome as to why he looks so drunk, but nothing of the drunk happened.
“Father!”
“Father are you okay”
“She poisoned me”
His father squeezed out to say from the raving pain in his heart. He sounded like someone reacting to some chemicals that are aggressive to his system.
He rushed him to the hospital as he wanted to ignore the fact that there was a she in the story he said.
He was taking to the ward and the doctors took the defibrillators to his heart and one, two, three
“He jerked thrice but never opened his eyes”
“That’s emotional!”
Senator Tunde said still with a stern face.
But that wasn’t the reason. He went home and mourned for days. He went back to his dad’s phone to actually find out who this girl was, he checked his phone and saw many pictures of him and a lady.
“Your father had a mistress?”
Chief Oluwaseun asked, taking the chunk of meat into his mouth.
His mistress wasn’t the one who had the sniper mixed with his tea, rather her daughter. Unless the girl is a psycho before she can make such a terrible move or her mother sends her. Aside that, she is a murderer, and that is where it all began.
He went back to the research organization and I decided to do my first business. He first of all threatened to expose them, but they did not act surprised as they have seen this so many times. Their reaction was rather a surprising one. They asked me if I would like to work with them manually apart from just being an online research persona. Then without second thoughts he agreed to the offer and decided to have a serious and real revenge.
“I guess that where the demon had the access into this gentle soul of mine”
Senator Lawal said with a smile on his face.
“I’ll say it had a happy ending after all”
Senator Tunde said, raising a glass.
“Shall we?”
“Yes! Cheers to us who had stood up to not being victims of our past but victors.”
Senator Lawal made the toast.
“Yea! Cheers to us”
Then they raised glasses.
“We better get going before dusk reaches us like wild fire”
Chief Oluwaseun said taking the last scrape of the stew and had it in his mouth”
“no no! Oluwaseun, you have to tell us yours too”
“Really Lawal? I mean Tunde said less of anything here!”
“But his thought told us a lot about what made a channel for the devil too”
“You call your master by his name, you really have no shame”
“Not like those Jews call him King Jesus!”
Chief Oluwaseun said trying to defend Lawal
“What a cursed name,”
He added.
“Don’t change the topic either”
Senator Lawal looking at Chief Oluwaseun as he raises his eyebrows repeatedly.
“I’m still not going to say anything, don’t stress yourself too much”
Chief Oluwaseun said adamantly.
“Fine, Lawal, no pressure. Let’s get headed to the golf center.”
Senator Tunde broke the rigidity of the atmosphere.
They made their move of going to the golf center. To them the Golf place was just the quiet place, rarely visited by the multitude. To them the serenity and the green grasses was like to them a comfort to most of their troubling mind.
“And here we are”
Senator Tunde said with a smile, closing his eyes as he smelt the coolness of the evening.
“Mehnn this is lit! This is fire, how did you come across this?”
Chief Oluwaseun said,looking impressed.
“It was better than what we had back there, goodness father!”
He added expressing his love for how arranged they are.
Still carried away by the beauty of the place when they heard a very loud laugh.
“And….. Why does that sound like Rotimi?”
Chief Oluwaseun said as they looked around and it was Rotimi.
“Why does this brat always seem to spoil happy moments? Why?”
Senator Tunde asked, his rage could be seen.
“Such a sight of luck that I didn’t find her when she was little”
“Dayo would have devoured you, this piece of egg that he guarded more than the main pride”
Chief Oluwaseun said.
They all turned back their gaze, making Rotimi their focus point.
“Did you actually read the age limits to those who can come in here?”
Senator Tunde said to the audience or Rotimi. Rotimi, who was jogging, stopped and tried to catch her breath and she stood erect to get back at Senator Tunde.
“if there is anyone who hasn’t yet been informed that the age limits here are to the favor of healthy teens like me, and not sick lings, how long do you all have to become an aging spirit?, I truly for the reason of happiness anticipate such glorious exit”
Rotimi said, swinging her hair and taking Mitchell with her, Mitchell could not hold the smile.
“Badass!!”
“You can say that again boss”
They both laughed out loud as this only ruined their day.
“The sarcastic nature of this place really gives that girl an advantage, Unbelievable”
Senator Tunde said in fury, you could see everything burn in him.
“Let’s go, we’ll deal with her some other day”
They turned around and left. Then suddenly Senator Lawal recalls something that might add up and spice up their cruelty.
“Guys! Did you know that this place has a healing source?”
“Really?”
Senator Tunde said in amazement.
“Yes! I actually found that out in the library. And there are so many things we need to know about this place that we don’t, you see the library ba!”
“Yes”
“It stores no normal book, this place needs to be studied widely, studied widely”
“I agree, I guess I don’t want to mess up my today either, let's drink in some few books”
Chief Oluwaseun said.
“Drink in you say”
Senator Tunde smiles at the phrase as they head towards the library.
#
“Mitchell, did you know that this place actually has a lot to it than we know”
“you speak like though I know that which you know, because as I dey so, d only tin wey I know be say , I don kpai (you speak like though I know that which you know, take a look at me, the only thing I am aware of is the fact that I’m dead)
“You dey ment ooo (I’m sure you’re just talking)”
Then they laughed together as Rotimi further explained to Mitchell.
“this is what I meant, when I was at the library the other day, I found out that this place has its healing power, but you’ll definitely feel the pain, and aside the cut or wound marks that you used to come, the rest will go so as the pain”
“You’ve really read wide, were you a…….?”
“ No I wasn’t, after the guessed death of Oluwaseyi, I made myself research to be apt about every sing information concerning my Rival, and death didn’t take that away from me I’m grateful “
She said with a smile.
“And do you know what’s more?”
“the fact that aside the other ways I told you one could be an aging spirit is by stabbing the person's heart, a bad death’s heart is exposed with silver while the good death is goal”
“Okay!!!”
Mitchell asked further engrossed in all Rotimi shared
“Every three Month of a leap year there is a battle between rival spirits, and that’s when you get access to any of the tools, and the aim is to make sure you don’t get stabbed at heart”
“Mehnn… all this knowledge is going to give me and headache, let’s go grab something to eat”
Rotimi smiles.
“Sure”
