Chapter 32 Surprises at The Lamborghini Parade
A few days later...
It was a busy morning at the airport. An exclusive jet waited on the tarmac, preparing to take Valeria back to Italy. As a Mafia Lady, she was now not just a guest on a visit to Japan, but someone highly respected by the Ryuujin-kai, the organization that had once viewed her as a threat after Lorenzo.
Near the steps of the airplane, Vincent stood, looking at Valeria with a look that was hard to interpret. “Why didn't that woman cry at all after Lorenzo died?”
Milea elbowed Vincent's arm, “Don't look at her like that! She'll feel bad for you.”
Vincent walked over to Valeria and shook her hand. “Are you sure you don't want to stay longer?” he asked.
Valeria only smiled slightly after shaking hands with Vincent. “I have to go back. I have a lot of things to take care of there.”
Vincent nodded slowly. He understood. Valeria was not a woman who could stay in one place for too long. Especially now, she would be leading her own clan and organization.
Just before Valeria climbed the steps of the airplane, she turned her head once more, looking deeply at Vincent. “I know, you must be wondering. Why I wasn't sad at all after my ex-husband's death. Wounds like this don't always heal quickly.”
Vincent knew that Valeria meant not only the wounds on her body, but also the wounds on her soul. He knew that Valeria was still deeply in love with her ex-husband, Lorenzo Piero. Although she hated him with a passion, her love for him was too deep.
As the plane took off, disappearing behind the clouds, Vincent looked up at the sky with mixed feelings. Milea stood beside him, encouraging him.
“It's all over, Vin,” Milea comforted him.
“Yes, you're right. I hope there's no more chaos in this world that gets us hurt,” Vincent said.
“Let's go home!” invited Milea as she took Vincent's hand.

Vincent and Milea finally arrived at a luxurious seaside resort, where they planned their honeymoon that had been postponed a few months ago. The dazzling morning sun greeted them gently, the waves rolled calmly, and the smell of the sea was refreshing.
Milea was so excited. She was wearing a very pretty white mini dress. She ran around barefoot, chasing the birds on the white sand. Vincent promised to spend the day undisturbed, just the two of them, enjoying their long-awaited time together.
“Finally, it's just the two of us here,” Vincent whispered as he took Milea's hand.
Milea's eyes lit up, her smile warming Vincent's heart. They had breakfast on the balcony overlooking the calm sea and sunny weather. After breakfast they would swim in the infinity pool, and chat about the future.
“Are you happy, darling?” Vincent asked reassuringly.
Milea nodded firmly. “Of course. This is the moment I've been waiting for.”
“Then finish your meal! We'll go for a walk, you can shop to your heart's content,” Vincent said.
“Really?” Milea was very enthusiastic. She was even more excited about Vincent's invitation.
A few hours later, as dusk was falling and they were preparing to enjoy a romantic dinner by the beach, the sound of noisy sports car engines broke the tranquility of the night. A line of Lamborghinis flashed down the resort's main street in an unexpected parade. From one of the cars, a familiar figure emerged, Ryuga.
“Ryuga? What's he doing here?” Milea looked annoyed that her cousin had come to ruin her romantic dinner with Vincent.
“Vin! We have a big problem!” Ryuga shouted as he jumped out of his modified metallic blue Lamborghini.
“What else is it this time?” Milea sneered. She had a very sardonic expression when Ryuga approached Vincent.
“What's the matter?” Vincent wanted to know.
Milea looked at Vincent with a confused look. She hoped he wasn't tempted by Ryuga's invitation this time. It bothered her so much.
“I know it's your honeymoon, but our old enemies are back. They're planning on taking over this parade and... we have more to talk about,” Ryuga said.
Vincent sighed. “Parade?”
“Yeah, I need your help, Vin. Help me beat them. I know your driving skills. Just this once, do me a favor!” begged Ryuga with a pained face.
“You want Vin to race cars?” Milea interrupted, at the same time confirming it to Ryuga.
“Just once. Is that okay?” pleaded Ryuga.
However, after seeing his cousin's serious face, Vincent knew he had to intervene. Milea, understanding the situation, took Vincent's hand.
“If we have to face it, let's face it together,” Milea said.
“What do you mean?” Vincent didn't understand what she meant.
“I'll go with you. I will face them,” said Milea.
“Are you sure?” Vincent had his doubts. However, Milea was determined, she would participate in the race.
The initially peaceful Lamborghini parade turned into a chase. Vincent and Ryuga work together to face the enemies who try to disrupt the parade. Milea, smart and brave, helps with strategy and navigation. The sound of roaring engines, flashing neon lights, and the roar of the wind added to the tension of the race.
“Are you ready?” Vincent asked Ryuga.
“Yes, of course. I'm at ease when you're beside me, Vin,” Ryuga replied with great confidence.
That night, the racing action in the Lamborghini parade began. Vincent drove a metallic black Lamborghini, while Ryuga's was blue. Each of them was ready in the driving seat.
After an adrenaline-filled action, Vincent managed to defeat the enemy leader in a thrilling final race. Ryuga smiled with relief and cheered triumphantly.
“I knew it, we've always been a solid team,” Ryuga said as he approached Vincent after the parade.
“Are you satisfied now?” Milea quipped.
“Of course, my beautiful cousin,” Ryuga replied, smiling meaningfully at Milea.
“I wish you'd stop bothering us with your silly surprises,” Milea said sternly.
After all the chaos was over, Ryuga apologized to Vincent and Milea. “I promise, this time it's really over. You guys continue the honeymoon.”
Ryuga gave Vincent the keys to the black Lamborghini. “As an apology, use this for your trip tomorrow. Have fun, guys!”
That night, Vincent and Milea finally enjoyed a romantic dinner by the beach, lit by candlelight, red roses, and the sound of the waves. No distractions, just laughter, love, and promises for the future.
“I don't think our honeymoon would be complete without a few surprises,” Milea said with a mischievous smile.
Vincent laughed. “As long as it ends with you, I don't mind at all.”
With the stars as witnesses, Vincent and Milea ended the day with perfect happiness, an unforgettable honeymoon, albeit not as planned, but even more meaningful.Download Novelah App
