Chapter Thirty-three

In the courtyard of Castillo de Saat, Ylarry is staring right at the kingdom of Antipatris. In the spot where he first met Lyra, He's thinking if they can meet again, although it seems impossible, because until now, his father is still mad, and he will become more mad if he disobeys him. Also, Ylarry's power hadn't come back yet. It's now clear to him that it was Laurel who caused the malfunction in his power, because there was nobody who was closer to him than the scarlet woman.
"You're looking there again?" someone asked. "Is there something I don't know about you and that Incino girl; why did you protect her from those who were throwing stones at her?"
Ylarry looked back and replied, "Honestly, I don't know how to say this, but there's something between me and that Incino girl."
"Something between you and her? What do you mean?"
"I mean, it's difficult, because, you know, our father will just become more mad at me if he finds out this."
"But why? Tell me, I'm your brother, and I can understand."
"Bro, I and Lyra, that Incino girl, have a relationship."
Ylarry told the truth to his brother. Perhaps he believed that he had a trustworthy brother who would not spill the beans about his relationship with Lyra; he wasn't disappointed, because his brother wasn't even surprised when he knew the truth.
"I say it!" Felix exclaimed. "I'm really good at predicting. Honestly, I was also thinking that you and that Incino girl have a relationship, because you won't dance with death if you don't."
"Now, you know the truth about us, but I hope that you won't tell our parents about it, especially our father, because he'll surely kill me if he knows," Ylarry said.
"Don't worry, brother. Nobody can know about your secret without your consent, but I'm just telling you this: don't drown yourself in that love, because if she's just playing with your feelings, you'll surely be heartbroken," Felix advised.
"Thanks bro, don't worry about me. I'm already big and Lyra isn't the same with—" Ylarry hadn't finished saying his words when his brother interrupted.
"Ooops, don't mention anything about that woman again." Felix smiled. "By the way, your power hadn't come back until now. But don't worry, I will usher you to Syrtis later to ask our uncle to cure you. What do you think about it?"
"That's a good plan. I will see you later when the dusk comes, so that our parents can't see us and punish us again," Ylarry replied.
Felix turned back and went inside the voluminous castle. He was humming a song while walking. As he walked on and passed by the silver cols, there she was, the queen of gossipers, who was watching and listening to their conversation. She also came out and walked towards the courtyard where Ylarry is.
"Thank you very much, master Felix. I didn't expect that you could offer me such great help as this." Lydia mumbled.
Ylarry was curious why the maidservant was simulating while going towards him. But he has a bad hunch, especially given that she grins like a devil. She went towards him and said something frightening.
"I know your secret: you have a relationship with that Incino girl, but don't worry master, I wll not tell your parents about it, if you'll follow what I want you to do—"
Lydia gently rubbed herself against Ylarry's body while her hands were both above his shoulders, also rubbing, which made the boy suddenly jolt up. He didn't expect that a maidservant would seem to act as a master of lasciviousness. But definitely, Ylarry is curious about why she's doing this thing to him right now.
"Lydia, why are you doing this to me? What did I do wrong to you?" Ylarry asked. He did nothing but lean on the hard wall while his flesh was getting harder too, letting her push his buttons.
"Is it not obvious that I really like you? And now you're asking me if what you did was wrong with me." Lydia replied, "Well, it's not your mistake if you were born perfect and attractive."
Ylarry is between the devil and the deep blue sea. He doesn't like what Lydia is doing to him, and most of all, he doesn't want to deceive Lyra, but he also doesn't want to be punished by his parents if they know about their relationship, because there would be great trouble if that happened. He knew that, whether in love or war, everyone can be deceitful. Hence, he put himself in a situation that he didn't really like. He felt the streaming flame from the lagoon of Lydia's penetrating game while playing his forbidden, undesired.
Dusk creeps towards the kingdom of Antipatris, Ylarry is now going towards Felix's bedroom. But he found out that his brother wasn't there anymore. As he turned back to search for him, he saw Felix, who was wearing an assassin-like outfit. He gives a sign to follow him; therefore, Ylarry went towards him, and they eventually jumped out of the window. Felix helps his brother by going to the land of Syrtis.
"Bro, I have another problem," Ylarry said.
"What do you mean, brother?" Felix asked.
Some light and intermittent footsteps can be heard as they take the concrete road towards the land of Syrtis. They are going to someone who can help Ylarry's power come back.
"One of our maidservants named Lydia knew that I had a relationship with Lyra, and she used my secret to make me follow what she wanted me to do."
"Is that so... But how?" Felix exclaimed. "I guessed she listened to our conversation when you told me about that. Bro, I hope that you won't accuse me, because I didn't tell anyone about your secret."
"Yeah, I know that bro, but you know, I just didn't expect that she could act as my master and I'm just her boy."
"Eureka!" Felix ejaculated. "If you remember when I told you about someone who was always watching you, it was Lydia. I thought that she wouldn't give you a problem. That's why I didn't tell you, but I was wrong. Perhaps, she's doing this because she also loves, not admired, you."
"You've guessed it right: she admired me, but she never loved me, because if she did, she'd be happy for my happiness, but what she did was something delirious."
"What do you mean, delirious?"
"You're already of age if you don't know."
"Ahahaha," Felix laughed, "Why won't you just laugh instead of considering everything a problem?"
"You're out of your mind. We better forget those things, because we're now here in front of Uncle Phlegon's house. Let's hope that he's here, because I'm so eager to use my power."
Ever since the greatest tragedy in Lyra's life happened, she's always caged herself in her old bedroom. She always thinks that she's lonely and nobody cares about her feelings. Until one time, Lyra's mother entered her bedroom and said something while she was pretending to be asleep.
"My dearest daughter, I know that you'll hate me because of what I did, but believe me, I don't want to see you sad. Although you didn't even notice me sad, but mad at poor Maloco. I didn't mean to do that thing, but perhaps because of envy that you're always with each other, I won't let you busy him. Yeah, I know that's not enough reason, but—" she hadn't gone for much longer, as her tears were pouring down the floor.
Still perplexed is Lyra as to why her mother would be envious of her poor father if everything was already in her. Lyra's world experiences an avalanche because there wasn't enough reason why her mother killed him. She doesn't want to see her merciless mother anymore. Lyra jumped out of bed and put her robe on the side. She opened the door and began to drift somewhere, but she was surprised when she saw someone who was also going towards her.
The boy, who can't be considered the prince of sorrow because of the happiness seen on his face, walks towards Lyra. He admired Lyra because of her weirdness, but currently, it seems that he admired her more because she's no longer considered the princess of weirdness because of her sexiness.
The old Lyra has gone, and everything is new. She's not walking boldly like a man anymore, but a modest girl. She's not wearing her sunglasses and long, black robe with a hood, but rather short black clothes.
"Oh, Kesrick! Is that you? What are you doing here? I mean, how could you come here?" Lyra queried. "Come, let's sit on that chair so that you can tell me everything. I'm so curious." Lyra walks towards the chair, but she was surprised and curious when Kesrick grabbed her hand and embraced her from the back.
"I really miss you, Lyra, and I'm so happy to see you anon," Kesrick said. "You're the reason why I'm here, because I realized: I really loved you."
"Can you stop kidding me? You don't even tell me what happened and how you got here, but now you're telling me that you loved me. Can you stop saying things that you don't really feel?"
"But Lyra, I came here for you, and if you only knew how sad I was when you were gone, you would not believe it—" Kesrick hadn't finished saying his words when Lyra got out of his arms.
"Please, Kesrick, don't say anything, because we're drastically incompatible."
"Why? Because you're an Incino? That's why we're incompatible?"
"No, not that. I don't want to hurt you, I just—"
"Just what? Don't tell me that it's because of the boy who was always with you... Lyra, you're just saying that we're not, but we are, because even your grandfather agreed that you and I should get married."
Lyra was so surprised, she raised her hand and threw it at Kesrick's face, which made a loud blast. Lyra wasn't aware of what she did, but she turned back and attempted to leave the boy. Kesrick grabbed Lyra's hand again, and he suddenly thrust his face towards hers. A shock can be seen on Lyra's face, but she did nothing but think that the happening must not happen because she didn't love him.
The pathetic girl could do nothing because Kesrick was so strong, like a hungry lion, which made her lean down on the black cols. Her tears dripped down and streams on her face, which tells that she doesn't like what he's doing, but him alone, likes it.
Until Kesrick noticed that Lyra was crying, there were no sounds came out of her lips. He tried to be gentle and let the girl go, but before she walked away, he received a smack, which made him come back to his senses and wake up from a reverie. Kesrick slightly pressed his nose and became curious as to why tears were coming out of his eyes. He wiped them when he saw and heard someone's footsteps going towards him. He's surprised to see his wicked stepmother coming towards him.
Langya's eyes widened as she scrutinized the boy, and she became curious when she realized that it was her stepson. She killed his father, a long time ago. She has a hunch that Kesrick came to the Black Palace for revenge for his father's death.
"Kesrick?" Langya asked. "What are you doing here?"
Kesrick didn't reply to anything. He knew he had nothing to say to his wicked stepmother, and although he was curious as to why Langya was here, he chose to remain silent, believing that she, too, was an Incino due to her evil deeds while in the palace of Antipatris.
"Kesrick, please forgive me. I didn't mean to—" Langya hadn't finished saying her words when Kesrick interrupted, "What are you talking about? Why are you asking my pardon?"
"Do you mean that you didn't know until now?"
"Why? What do I need to know? And can you stop talking to me? You're such a bad woman, you didn't even help me when my father died. But now everything is clear, although it wasn't your mistake why my family was destroyed, you're still bad, because you worshipped San Zibar."
"Why Kesrick, what did I do wrong to you? Can you stop saying that I'm bad if you don't even respect those people who are older than you? And please, let's just forget the past and begin a new future."
"Begin the future? Begin that future in your butt!" Kesrick exclaimed while going somewhere.
"What kind of stepson, you didn't really change until now," Langya said. "But I hope you'll forgive me because I didn't mean to kill your poor father. I'm so sorry, son; I didn't mean to make your life miserable; it was Garagogo's order," she thought as she walked on.
