Finally the last one! Slicing the green leaves into tiny pieces and passing it with Lady Shi.
"Bless ya sugar! Ah can handle the rest!" Lady Shi uttered.
"Ya know what, I've made something that would make y'all golden hair stand on the end. Wanna try it later?" She added.
"Thank you, but we already bother you a lot!"
"Then, jus' sit there and relax!" 
I grinned and went to where Miku was sitting, but I found him carelessly snoring at the floor. I walked closely and stared at his gentle face, my glance shifted on his neck and suddenly my heart started to race back and forth. 
My body almost melted down after I imagined myself biting his sweet neck and swallowing his blood. Although I'm conscious about him as a member of the opposite sex, I can't really resist myself to touch him.
I know it's my fault for being too carelessly eating his servings with his own blood and now that I know about it, bloodlust throbbing my pulse, and heightened senses.
I knelt down and gently rubbed his neck using my index finger, the whistle of rustling bloodlust pierced my head as I opened my mouth. I felt my teeth sharpened, my sight blurred, as if we are the only one in the world.
I stopped myself and gripped my own neck, the urge beneath me calmed down a little. I sigh with relief as my teeth and senses turned back to normal.
I glanced again at him and carefully poked his face, he rolled his body and held my hand with a macabre mask on his face, he looked afraid of something.
"...Ash...Ashley!" Whimper leaked from his mouth.
"A nightmare!Wait who was Ashley?!" I whispered.
I shook his body and muttered, "Miku, wake up...!"
But instead of waking up he suddenly held my wrist and pulled me over his body, hugging me tightly against my will.
I felt my face turning into a hot soup, "Waiit..., Miku please wake up...!" 
He continued to grip me and I tried to escape, yet my embarrassment stopped me.
With a murmured voice he muttered, "...sorry I couldn't save you—"
Hearing those words my heart ached, I know he was holding a lot of secrets inside his heart. I stopped resisting and patted his head.
Suddenly the echo of the opening door shot behind me, I turned my gaze and found the chief staring at me with a mocking face.
Closing the door he mumbled, "Sneaky move, darlin', for someone ain't the wife. Expectin' a little somethin'?"
Before I could even respond, another door opened and a girl with sleepy eyes emerged, she glared at me and smiled widely.
"Sorry for mah' intrusion, ya can continue yer doing!" Said Tina.
"Stop! This is not what you're thinking!" I shouted, forcing myself to stand up.
The two only grinned and Miku started to open his lavender eyes.
With a dissolved face he muttered, "What's wrong?"
Luckily Lady Shi entered the room holding plates and chopsticks, washing out the tide of tension. 
With a twisted mouth she uttered, "Ain't ya gonna eat my food?"
Tina and her father quickly went through the kitchen and Miku stood up and grabbed the plate on lady Shi's hand.
"How's yer sleep'?" She asked Miku.
Miku responded by sneezing.
 "I'm sorry!"
"Ain't ya feelin' well?"
"For some reason, my body seemed too heavy!" 
I tried to enter their conversation, but my mouth was sealed by embarrassment. 
"Bless ya, mah' soup was tasty and healthy' I tell' y'all it's good!"
Lady Shi gestured to me to accommodate Miku as she placed the remaining plates on the table.
"Wait for here, gonna get the food for y'all!"
I sat beside the table and grabbed the two pairs of chopsticks and gave the other one with Miku.
He glanced at me with a grin on his face, "Didn't you try to drink my blood while I'm asleep?"
The chopstick on my hands almost fell on the table, his gleaming eyes peeled my skin.
"Are you lying about having a pain in your body just to have a private talk with me?" I asked, trying to change the topic.
He picked up one of the chopsticks and pressed it into my hands, "I know you talked with that demi-human lady. What information did you get?" He mumbled.
"She only talks about the food and some nonsense about this tribe!"
Miku placed back the chopstick and shifted his gaze at the door, "Curing Lino's sister gave me a headache!" He exclaimed.
"I bet you will eventually fight Lino in the upcoming days!" He added.
"Eh? Are you sure?" I muttered. "I can handle him!"
"Don't forget, his soul is mine!" Miku reminded.
I rolled my eyes and heard the echo of the foot steps followed by the overflowing aura of Tina holding a bowl filled with race.
Her parents also entered the room with a bowl of hot soup, the fragrance of nature filled the room, the aroma tasted like umami and mild milk.
They placed the bowl in the table and sat around the table joining our talk. Lady Shi put a race on the empty plates and her lips slightly tighten, her husband, Megor poured the vegetable soup in the smaller bowl and distributed it around us.
Megor closed his eyes and muttered, "C'mon, y'all. Let's shut our eyes and say a prayer to them high and mighty angels!"
I closed my eyes and heard Lady Shi's prayer, "We pray to the high angels every day in this room, askin' for help. Life's been hard, but they've always saved us. Bless this food, forgive our darkest mistake, and help us!"
"Ylmin!" Megor and his daughter muttered.
I opened my eyes and grabbed my chopsticks and glanced at Lady Shi.
"let's eat!" Miku mumbled.
I took a sip in the vegetable soup and the heavenly flavor made me float, the leaves are freshly cooked, the salt balanced the texture. 
"Deliciosísimo!" Miku muttered.
I can't understand his words, yet it sounds like a compliment so I also copied, "Doliciosímos!"
Miku widened his eyes and everyone laughed. After a few minutes,the bowls filled with soup and rice are now empty, yet our belly is all rounded.
"Gimme a break! I'm so full!" Tina whispered.
I leaned my back on the chair and asked, "Do all the demi-humans are good in cooking?"
"Ain't sure, darlin'!" Lady Shi muttered.
"Mah' wife is excellent in cooking, I can tell'y'all'!"
"Wanna train with mah' s mother how to cook for yer future husband?" Tina scoffed while glaring at Miku.
"No!...I'm not!" I retorted.
"Eh?! I saw y'all sneaking at him earlier!" Megor exclaimed.
"What...!" I shouted.
"What do they mean?" Miku innocently asked.
"I don't know...!" I replied.
They continued to tease me until my cries reached the gate of my body. Lady Shi carefully patted my head and shouted, "Enough yer bullyin' her!"
"Mah' bad!" The chief apologized.
"We're jest joken' around!" He added.
"I said, enough! Are y'all deaf?" Lady Shi mumbled.
"Don't worry darlin' I got yer back!" She added while glaring at the two.
Her concern seems abrupt, her eyes were too gentle reminding me of these people who hurt my late father.
A moment of silence replaced their teasing eyes, the lamp was getting whimpered and its light became darker, suddenly a cold shimmer engulfed the room.
From the table their grinned turned into a twisted mouth, Megor's eyes were narrowed and Tina's lips were gripping by her teeth.
I felt a fleeting tingling sensation on my throat, a taste of subtitle and metallic liquid slowly drifted in my throat.
I glanced at Lady Shi and found her frowning face. My heart raced, and the chill broke through my veins. 'what happened?'
"Is it true that y'all're trying to cure the curse on Lino's sister?" Megor muttered.
"So you heard what we are talking about ha?" Miku replied, lacing a grin on his face.
"We are demi-humans, we have a great sense!" Tina answered.
"A natural calling?" Miku uttered. "I'm wondering why the elder sold out Lino for the mere protection of the prophet!" He paused and pointed his glare at Megor.
"Turns out this family is just a fake!" He exclaimed, pointing his to the chief, his wife, and Tina.
I felt lady Shi gripping my neck so I resisted, but I felt dizzy. My body felt drowned and my breath was too heavy. 'What is this, why do I have trouble breathing?' I asked myself.
"Y'all're great kids, but we already catch yer friend. Y'all ain't a rat, but we catch ya on our trap!" Megor laughed.
"Where did you take the whole tribe?" Miku's voice echoed in the room as he shouted.
"What are y'all're talkin' about?" Tina mumbled.
"Shut up your mouth, little dwarf!" Miku muttered.
'Dwarf? What is Miku talking about?' I pondered while trying to break free from Lady Shi's hand.
"Are ya crazy boya? Look we are demi-humans!" Tina countered.
Lady Shi stood up and held me on her shoulder, "Darlin' how far yer gonna endure the poison?" 
"I want to commend you for giving me a delicious poison, but your vegetable soup tastes nothing like a shit!"
"Give us the Titan seed and we will allow y'all here'!" Megor muttered while drinking a cup of water.
"I'm not interested in giving it to anyone yet! If you want it, buy it with your own life!" 
"Ain't ya gonna fight us? Or y'all jus' plannin' to sit there!?" Said Tina.
"I'm not!, I'm surrendering myself! So why not capture me?" 
"Let me guess, Ashley was y'all sister?" Megor exclaimed.
From my weak body I can see Miku's eyes darted to the floor and clinching his arm, "You heard me talking while sleeping?"
"Yeah! So—, I'm not wrong?" Megor, the chief mumbled. "Y'all're helpin' Lino cause' you see ya self on him!"
Miku glanced at the roof and burst into laughter, a cripping dark mist emerged on his back. A crimson flower mark emerge on his face. "Do you think I would do that—
For your information I killed my own sister!" 
Tossed with information, my heart stirred and that is the last thing I remember before passing out.
