The alarm clock rang out the sound of a rooster crowing, startling Erina and waking her up. For several nights in a row, she had been tossing and turning, unable to sleep because of jet lag. Just finished cleaning herself, the phone rang continuously. Looking at the strange phone number, Erina hesitated and did not want to pick up. It was not until the third call that she pressed the answer button. On the other end of the phone, a familiar male voice rang out softly. “Hi, beauty. I'm here to take you out to breakfast.” Erina's eyebrows slightly furrowed, she quickly walked closer to the window, pulled the curtain open, and looked down. She recognized her benefactor standing with his back against an expensive supercar, staring at her. Today, he was wearing a white shirt and black pants, just like a university student. “Ah. Please wait for me a moment.” Letting go of the curtain, Erina quickly turned back to prepare. Because she was afraid that Kelvin would wait too long, she acted quickly, causing things to fall continuously. She silently blamed him for not calling her in advance to prepare, after all, she was a woman, not a man. Looking at herself in the mirror for a few seconds, seeing that she looked quite okay, she hurriedly ran downstairs. “Hello, Mr. Kelvin.” “You're really beautiful, it was dark that day, and I couldn't see clearly.” He happily held her hand, raised it to his lips, and kissed it lightly. Being praised by him, Erina's face turned red. She didn't even have time to put on makeup, her face was 100% bare. If in country X, men acted similarly to Kelvin, she would be surprised, but this was country B and she understood that this greeting kiss showed his respect and admiration for her. “You overslept? I made three calls.” Kelvin frowned in annoyance. “No, it's because I saw a strange phone number.” Erina hesitantly explained. “Oh my god, you didn't save my phone number? Erina, you despise this young master, right?” He screamed. “Not. Because I washed my hands and it faded away. When I remember it, it's too faint. How could I save it?” Looking at Erina's apologetic appearance, Kelvin couldn't help but laugh. He felt that this girl was good at acting. But precisely because she is like that, she looks so adorable to him. No wonder there was a person who was willing to endure heart-wrenching pain but still refused to let go of her. After smiling brightly, bringing all emotions back to normal, Kelvin opened the car door for Erina to sit in and quickly ran to the driver's seat, told her to fasten her seat belt, then pressed the accelerator and drove away. “Erina, what would you like to eat?” “You are a local person so please give me advice.” She replied mischievously. “Okay, I'll spend the whole day with you, taking you to enjoy the best food in country B.” Kelvin turned to the person next to him, winked, then increased the car's speed. Erina enjoyed watching the beautiful country through the glass window. The main public buildings with unique styles, the vibrant murals, some street performances and countless eye-catching and tempting shops. “Let's start with street food, lunch will be at a restaurant.” Kelvin said as he stopped the car next to a sidewalk restaurant. “Okay.” Erina smiled in agreement. After ordering, Erina relaxed her body and looked around. She felt a small joy creeping into her heart. She felt very lucky because as soon as she arrived here, a good-natured, handsome, rich friend fell from the sky, and especially he was not arrogant. In country B, except for noisy festivals, the atmosphere here always has its inherent quietness. There are still vehicles and people passing by, but it is not as noisy or bustling as in country X. If Kelvin were not there, Erina would feel extremely lost in this scene. “Mr. Kelvin, I'm very surprised that you made friends with me but only asked for my phone number and didn't need to know any more information about me?” She put the cup of hot chocolate on the table and tilted her head to look at the person sitting across from her. “It's not important. You're not a wanted criminal. By the way... please tell me about yourself in detail.” Kelvin brought the cup of hot chocolate to his lips and took a sip. Why did he forget to act like a stranger? Of course, she would be surprised if he ignored questions about her identity and background. “Oh. I'm a fresh graduate, I came here to help my family manage the distribution branch for a while.” Erina spoke up. “What's your company's name and what products do you sell?” “Young Market Company. We do business in many industries, but the main one is still wine production.” “Well, I know, thirty percent of the wine market share in country B is provided by Young Market after they signed a contract with Wine Life Group.” “Oh. You know too much.” “I know a lot more. Erina, in the future, if you need help, just call me, don't be shy. Have you saved my phone number yet?” “Oh. Okay.” Erina hurriedly took out her phone, searched for the most recent call, and entered his name. Kelvin's eyes were a bit dissatisfied with the girl from country X. Did she not know that there were tons of people out there who wanted to get his contact number, so she looked down on him? After breakfast, Kelvin took Erina to the largest shopping paradise in country B. At first, he was a bit surprised to see the fashion products she chose mixed between famous high-end brands and cheap popular brands, but when he saw her combine them, he nodded in appreciation of her aesthetic taste. When noon came, the two of them continued to go out to enjoy delicious food. Erina glanced around the restaurant. The interior and decoration are inspired by many types of wine and look extremely luxurious and classy. “Here's your portion.” Kelvin pushed the plate of chopped ribs to Erina and said. Kelvin's caring actions made her remember the people in country X, and her nose suddenly felt stinging. All morning wandering around exploring country B with him, she temporarily forgot about the people she loved, but now she missed them terribly. “Are you touched? All men in B country are gallant, you should feel that this is normal.” Kelvin smiled lightly, picked up the bottle of champagne on the table, and poured it into two glasses. “I can't drink alcohol.” She spoke timidly. “Now you practice gradually. How can you work in the wine industry without knowing how to drink? Come on, try a little, then a little.” Because Kelvin was so enthusiastic, Erina could not refuse. She thought that if she drank a little, she wouldn't get drunk, so she reached out and took the glass of wine. But before she could touch it, he stopped her, frowning. “You must hold the stem or base of the glass because the heat from your hand will warm the wine and cause its flavor to become incomplete.” “Is that so? I don't know.” She smiled to cover her embarrassment. Taking advantage of the moment when Erina wasn't paying attention, Kelvin hid his face to the side, grimacing and gritting his teeth. She doesn't even have any knowledge about wine but still dares to advertise that her family company specializes in wine production and that is the main business. After all, why did Henry let his wife be so backward? As far as he knew, Henry was very stylish, not an ordinary person. “How does it taste? Is it easy to drink?” Kelvin asked. “Fragrant and sweet, very tasty.” She nodded and replied. “But you should only drink a little. Even though it's sweet, if you drink too much, you'll get drunk.” After saying that, Kelvin used his fork to stick a piece of meat in and brought it to his mouth. Looking at his slow and gentle way of eating, Erina guessed that he was probably born into a highly educated and well-educated family. She had not yet reached this standard. Because while chewing, Kelvin would not open his mouth to talk, so every time Erina wanted to ask something, she had to wait for him to raise his glass. “Mr. Kelvin, can you tell the difference between real and fake wine when you drink it?” She hesitantly spoke. “Yes, I can.” “How?” “Fake wine doesn't have a strong aroma, it usually tastes bitter, harsh, and sour. But not everyone can feel it, that's why the fake wine market is so vibrant.” After hearing what he said, Erina stopped asking. She felt as if he was referring to her. The task Hubert had assigned had made her worried for the past few days, and her rest time had turned into thinking time. All the big and small entertainment venues insisted that they only imported goods through the Wine Life Group, and the Wine Life Group imported wine directly from the Young Market Company. So where did the large quantity of poor-quality wine come from? There is only one possibility that the warehouse staff there deliberately smuggled out genuine wine and pushed fake wine in to make a profit. Although she thought so, she was not sure. If she went there and saw it with her own eyes, she would be able to come to an accurate conclusion. After all, did Hubert send her here to help manage the branch or to be a detective? While she was thinking, Kelvin's voice pulled her back to reality. “After eating, I'll take you home to rest. Do you want to go somewhere else tonight?” “Any discotheque or bar is fine.” Erina hurriedly answered, causing Kelvin to freeze for several seconds. He thought someone like her would never set foot in such places. It seems that when Henry's wife went to a foreign country, she started to express herself. Because his cousin asked him to look after and help his wife, he will do exactly as she asks. Whether she wants to go to the mountains or the sea, he is willing to do his best to take her there.
