" that's good to know" Jake said and face forward while closing his eyes.
Bella wanted to something but swallowed her words. Only Grandpa would be able to explain what exactly what was going on to her .
They soon arrived home, the both of them had a moody look on Their faces. The workers were not surprised to see the look on Jake's face because he always had that cold look on his face but it was nearly impossible to see the same look on Bella's face.
Jake walked straight to his room but Bella walked towards the old man's room. She met his butler, Uncle Josh walking out of the room.
" Good evening Uncle Josh"
" Good evening Bella, I hope you enjoyed yourself at the party" 
"yes thank you. But I need to see grandpa right now" Bella said , obviously not in a mood for chit-chat at the moment 
"ok, he has been expecting you already" Uncle Josh said and opened the door to allow her In.
Bella walked inside the room and found the old man sitting just at the edge of the bed. He looked up when he heard the door open. 
" how was your night dear?" The old man asked with his usual smile. 
" It was fine Grandpa" Bella replied but her voice sold her off. She usually sounded excited and happy but now, her voice was dull.
" You want to ask me something right? " the old man asked. She was never the quiet type unless something was bothering her.
" Jake told me that we are getting married, is it true grandpa?" 
The old man didn't flinch from her question, he knew that Jake would not be able keep the information to himself for much longer. Maybe him telling her was for the good.
" Sir down close to me my dear and listen to what I have to say to you" The old man patted the space close to him for her to sit.
Bella obeyed without a word.
The old man sighed and replied ' yes .. an"
"But grandpa "
She was interrupted by him.
" I know you don't like Jake but you see my dear, you are my best and only option for me right now. Jake may seem cold and too arrogant for your like but you are the only person I can entrust my boy to " 
" He is not a boy anymore, I'm sure he is old enough to take care of himself. I don't think he likes me too" Bella said and gazed at the old man.
"I know that the feeling of love is missing between the both of you but love doesn't grow in one day. It takes time " The old man said and took her hands into his and continued.
" Do this for me and I will forever be grateful "
" Grandpa, but.... What if this marriage doesn't work and we get separated" Bella wasn't truly convinced about the marriage arrangements.
"It will work please. I have full trust you , please help me my dear" The old man pleaded with her.
They were both silent for a while before Bella said " Grandpa, I'm doing this for you, okay!" 
The old man quickly lighten up, it's seems that his mood was suddenly activated by an unknown force.
" my beautiful dear, thank you so much " The old man's face showed his excitement.
"I have arranged the wedding for next week and oh what a day it will be ..." 
"wait, grandpa, you just said next week "
"yes" the old man replied her.
" I thought I would have to get used to being married" Bella's face was an evidence of surprise.
"well, next week will only be for the court wedding. You and Jack will plan when and how you want your white wedding" The old man said excitedly.
" Thank you Grandpa, I will prepare for it " Bella said and kissed the old man on his cheek.
"Good night dear " 
" Good night grandpa ".
She went to her room and closed the door before walking to her bed and fell on the it. She sighed loudly and closed her eyes to ease her nerves.
"Lord, help me!"
She pushed the whole thing to the back of of her head and prepared to go to bed.
But her phone had a different plan.
It suddenly rang , she brought it out from her bag and saw the name " NOAH"
Noah is Jake's cousin and he was a very nice guy unlike the arrogant billionaire. The both of them had hung out together on separate occasion and he was never rude.
She picked it " Hello"
"Hi,It's Noah"
" Hi Noah"
"How are you ?"
" I'm fine Bella, I just wanted us to meet because of something very important"
"okay, It's fine by me. See you tomorrow then"

The call then went off.
Tomorrow, she has got a long day ahead of her. She quickly took her bath and set her alarm.

By 5:00am , she was already awake preparing to go to work.
She was already prepared to leave by 7:00am to the company. She worked under the accounting department.
"Good morning grandpa" She greeted him politely and pecked him.
" Good morning my dear, how was your night? " The old man was all smile as usual.
"it was fine, I need to leave for work now or I might get there late" She replied him.
"You haven't eaten yet" He complained.
" I have already eaten. I asked one of the maids to bring breakfast upstairs for me earlier " Bella said and was about to say goodbye to the old man before She heard his voice " I will drop you at work " 
What was wrong with him and this unusual surprises from behind?

He was dressed in a killer black suit and just walked down the stairs.
" Well , good luck to the both of you at work" The old man said and smiled Mischievously.
