Bella only hoped things continued smoothly the way they are going without trouble. she took her laptop and started working since there was nothing to do around the house. And besides it wasn't time to prepare for the date she and Jake were going to late in the evening.
She didn't know how much time had passed until Jake walked in 
" Aren't you suppose to be resting or probably preparing for our date Bella?" 
She looked towards the window and saw that the sky was getting dark. wow! so much time had passed and she didn't even notice.
" I'm sorry, I had no idea that it was already late. I was too engrossed with work" 
" it's okay. finish whatever you are doing " 
She nodded and quickly finished up her work and sighed. As she stood up and looked at the direction of Jake, she was shy.
The man was already half-naked, his shirt was gone, the trousers as well. He was left with just his briefs which he was able to drop.
She could not look away and watched him drop that too. Alarmed when she suddenly realized that she was staring at him.
" what are you doing taking off your clothes like that in front of me? go to the walk-in-closet " 
she was embarrassed. she was not used to seeing the opposite sex so exposed before her eyes. 
Though she had dated before, she and her ex never for once went beyond kissing.
Jake on the other hand was teasing her on purpose.
"look at me Bella, I'm your husband. why are you so shy by the way? it's not like we have not done the deed already"
" You... you are so dirty-minded" She rebuked him, but Jake had plans in mind, he removed the last piece of clothing and went to hug her with his length poking her from behind.
Bella gasped in surprise
" What are you doing? we have to prepare for the date you said earlier" 
Jake knew that she was saying this to escape from him but he was not going to be fooled.
" The date can wait darling but this can't wait" he said and kissed her gently on her ear lope. She sighed loudly and moaned when he bit her neck. If he continued he was going to leave a hickey there.
" ouch" 
" calm down wifey, I'll be quick" 
" No, we can't do this now" 
" Trust me" 
And with his kisses and sweet talks, another storm took place and they were both panting and sweating.
Jake smiled and hugged her from behind while patting her hair.
" You hooligan" 
" yes, I know" 
" We have to prepare now or do you want us to cancel it?" 
Jake noticed that her tone suggested that she wanted him to cancel the date instead. 
" do you have something doing or what? You sound like you want me to cancel the date. Don't you want to go on the date ?" He asked curiously. If she didn't want to go, he could cancel it and reschedule it for another time .
Bella was not sure if she should tell him,she didn't want him to become angry with her.
"If you want this marriage to work like I'm trying to do, then we must both agree that communication and honesty is key" Jack said when he saw her hesitating to tell him what was really on her mind.
" Fine, it's just that Alex wants us to have a virtual meeting later to discuss an important project in our department. But I haven't said yes yet" The last part was added to avoid any conclusion of his that she had agreed without his permission.
"You won't be having any meeting with any guy. And by the way who is Alex?" Jack asked looking at Elena and expecting a response.
"A good colleague of mine from work" 
Jack sighed " Now call him and tell him you have plans with your boyfriend " 
She looked up at him as if pleading with him with her eyes. 
" Stop giving me that look, I won't be tricked . Call him and tell him that you are extremely busy with your boyfriend and can't be at the meeting. I will be in the bathroom waiting for you" Jack said and got down from the bed to the bathroom. He had no problem walking stack naked there knowing she was watching him.
Left with no choice, she had to call Alex and cancel the virtual meeting. Alex asked her why she was suddenly cancelling the meeting and she lied saying she needed to pick up two of her friends coming from Australia in the airport.
A balanced lie that worked. 
After the call, she went to pick up a dress for the date, absolutely not joining Jack in the bathroom like he requested. If she joined him, the wolf was going to devour her.
Nobody in the office knew they were both married except for few senior executives who came to their wedding, nobody else knew. That means that they were going to the office tomorrow, luckily yesterday and today , she had an excuse for not coming.
She finally decided on a green dress that reached her knee . It was super pretty and she liked the way it hugged her curves.
" You can go and have your bath now since you didn't want to join me in the shower" Jack said accusingly.
She had her bath and dressed up . She put on a light make up, not wanting to look like a doll.
Jack too was dressed up. Good looking suit that made look the more mighty.
" You look gorgeous" Jack commented.
" You look good yourself"
" I hope you are dressed this beautiful for me" he held her waist to himself.
" Let go. We need to go now or else we won't be back soon enough. I have work to do tomorrow at the office" 
" Yeah. True, let's go then" .
