HE NEEDS KARMA
SOREN
"Together with their asshole friends and crazy families, Marshall McGregor and Soren Jane Amberson forcefully invite you to join their simple wedding. December 12, 20xx at Garden Eve, Fartona Avenue, ***** City, at exactly 9:00 AM."
It’s obvious I made the invitation. Tss. I stared at the invitation card and then my gaze shifted to the mirror.
Yeah. Marshall was right. It’s not too feminine and it suits me. The color complements my skin, making me look even fairer. And my tattoos—they actually complement the dress, which is odd. My tattoos looked like art when I put on this dress.
Just as I requested, the wedding is simple. I didn’t want to wear big and long gowns, but I didn’t know what to wear since I’m not into women’s fashion.
And... this is perfect. Marshall’s actually useful, after all. After all the time he’s followed me, he’s really gotten to know what suits me.
"You’re gorgeous," said Ginger. "Even without makeup, you could go straight to the wedding tomorrow looking flawless."
I shrugged. "I know I’m beautiful. That’s why your brother is so thrilled when we have sex."
He winced. "Ah, so something really happens between you two?"
How could I get pregnant if nothing happened? Seriously, Ginger. You’re really a McGregor’s adopted child.
"But I don’t want to wear those heels," I said, looking at the heels in the corner of my room.
They’re too high. They might as well be a deadly weapon!
"But you need to. If kuya sees you like this, he might take you home immediately."
Most likely, he’s a pervert.
Tsk. Let’s talk about heels again. Yes, I used to wear them, but that was a long time ago. It’s been decades since I wore them, and hello? I don’t need those heels. I’m 5'9" after all. I’m already quite tall!
"So, tell me about it," I said as I took off the dress. Ginger quickly looked away from me.
Once I changed, I left the room first, and Ginger followed.
"You know... the reason why our parents are rivals. I just don’t get it."
"Ah, that?" I heard Ginger laugh behind me. "It’s because your father was hot."
I immediately looked at Ginger. "What the hell are you saying? Was your dad gay?!" I asked in shock. I even stepped back a few times because... Dude! What the fuck?!
No way. Did his dad have a relationship with my dad? Where did they put that "thing"? Obviously, Soren! Of course, in the ass!
Holy fuck. My dad’s ass isn’t a virgin anymore. From what I know, the McGregor men have big cocks. Marshall’s is as big as my thigh, right? How about his dad?!
Now, I can imagine my dad crying in pain because his ass was destroyed by Naruto’s Rasengan. In short... his piggy bank was wrecked because it was stabbed with a knife!
Ginger’s eyes widened. "No, no! I mean, your mom! She chose your dad over my dad. My dad's not gay!"
I nodded slowly. "Oh... so that’s it..."
Ah, I let my imagination run wild.
We both sat on the sofa while I listened to his story. He’s actually not boring to talk to, despite being overly nice.
"My dad was an asshole back then — argh, I mean, even now," he said. "He liked your mom. The problem was, your dad was more appealing back then because he was a bad boy. He had tattoos and always rode a big bike. Your dad was a gangster."
Woah. I didn’t know that. Why didn’t I know my dad was a jejemon back then?
Bh4be, n@ndi2 na aq, wer n u?
"While my dad, a good boy with a hidden temper. They studied at the same school, were friends, and always traveled together."
"Oh, and then? They were just friends? Why are they destroying each other’s property now?"
It’s just stupid. They’re ruining businesses like building businesses are nothing.
He smiled. "They were both in a helicopter, flying low, so they could clearly see below. And there, they saw your mom. It seemed like it was the first time she saw a helicopter because she kept posing and waving."
I nodded again. "Ah..."
So, my mom must have been crazy back then?
"To make a long story short, both of them were into your mom. And my mom was the antagonist."
Plot twist, wow.
"My mom was a flirt, hehe," he continued laughing. "But she’s smart, you know. She even called your mom dumb back then."
I winced.
"My dad liked your mom. Your mom liked my dad. My mom liked my dad who liked your mom. And my dad just wanted to try how it feels to strangle a woman in bed—ah, I don’t know. It’s just messy. Really messy. You just wouldn’t get it because it’s stupid."
Ah...
What?
"So, that’s it? They fought because of that?!"
He nodded. "Yeah. What were you expecting, a deep conflict?"
I scratched my head irritably. "I thought my dad killed someone dear to your dad to have such a long-standing feud."
Tss. What’s that. How corny. They both fell in love with my mom who was just posing in front of a helicopter? Good grief.
"Well... that’s what happened."
"Your story is corny. Seriously, that’s not how it goes," I retorted, poking my little finger in my ear. "I’ve danced and posed in front of passing helicopters countless times, but no goddess with big boobs fell in love with me."
So corny, pwe. They’re gay.
He chuckled slightly. "You sure?"
"Yes," I answered grumpily, my face sour. "I’ve danced a lot when I was young. But what happened? No sexy chicks fell in love with me. I should be in heaven now."
"Are you sure?"
Tsk! So annoying!
I kicked him, but he quickly caught my foot and placed it back in its spot.
"I’m sure! No one fell in love with me!"
"Actually, someone did. But he’s gay."
Huh?
His grin widened. He looked like Yamato from Naruto—damn it, yes, I’m a Naruto fan, but it’s not obvious because I act all tough.
"Gay?"
"Yes. You were on the rooftop of your company back then, right? And kuya and I happened to pass by. We were studying if it was possible to blow up your building."
Huh?
I’m confused.
"You flew?"
He laughed slightly, but it was clear he was amused by my stupidity. "No. We didn’t fly; we were in a helicopter. And since kuya was the eldest and I was the second, we went with dad. You were 13 back then. You looked like a doll."
Ah... I don’t remember, damn it. I’m getting old. Thirteen, huh? So Marshall must have been sixteen back then? Well, he seemed to like younger girls. What a fucking predator.
"You were dancing and waving at us, just like your mom. My brother was into you from then on. He just didn’t say it, but it was obvious."
I frowned. "Oh, really? So he’s not just nine years in love with me now? It’s been thirteen years?"
I kicked him irritably again, hitting him in the arm. "Damn you, don’t change the story and say he’s immediately in love with me even if we’re just both infants, okay?"
He burst into loud laughter. But surprisingly, he didn’t sound demonic when laughing.
"Well, I was just telling a story. He said back then, you were his target to bring down your dad."
"How corny. Seriously, are your faces falling apart? Can’t your dad move on from my mom? Damn."
It’s really corny. I don’t remember signing a contract with any writing platform to make my story this trashy.
Ginger laughed.
"He wasn’t in love with you back then, simply because you didn’t spend time together. Maybe, attracted?"
"Attracted my ass," I replied.
"Does he make you his dinner when you’re together? If you know what I mean..."
"Oral?" I glared at his face, irritated. "I’m probably delicious. He’d definitely eat me."
He clapped. "See? He’s in love with you."
Huh?
Is being eaten out now the basis of being in love?
"Damn it, are you crazy?" I asked Ginger, who now looked completely insane.
"He’s in love with you. Period."
"But I’m still angry. Period."
Ginger leaned back on the sofa’s headrest, shaking his head. "You know what? You should go to bed early. Go upstairs; I’ll stay down here."
Hmm, maybe I should sleep now.
I stood up while rubbing my bulging stomach.
"Okay, stay here. If you get bored, don’t hesitate to leave."
I tapped him on the arm before walking towards the stairs. But Ginger suddenly spoke again.
"He loves you, and I know you feel the same. But what he did to you wasn’t right. He used you to feed his own ego..."
I froze.
"He needs karma, Soren. Make his life a living hell, okay?"
I chuckled slightly. "Even if you didn’t say it."
I’ll take care of his karma.
I’ll make sure he crawls back to his mansion while crying blood.
