Tia was sleeping serenely when she suddenly heard someone calling her name repeatedly. His voice was soothing and it felt like he was in her subconscious mind.
“Tia…”
She felt something cold touch her chin, making her slowly open her eyes and turn back to see something familiar floating in the air. Her sight was unclear so she could not see who it was. He was like a fairy with long soft bluish hair. She felt like her heart was sinking and it was painfully tormenting. Somehow, that spirit looked sad and she wanted to comfort him. She reached out her hand to touch him but he suddenly vanished.
Everything went clear and silence engulfed her. She was sitting on the bed while reaching out her hand to nothing. Somehow, her tears fell without any reason. She wiped her tears and looked around the room. Sean was sleeping beside her. Looking at Sean, he somehow looked like the spirit she saw. Was that a dream?
She went out of bed, silently, to not wake Sean up. She doesn’t know but she is looking for her phone, intuitively. Since she could not find it in the room, she went out and looked for it everywhere in the house until she finally found it in her room upstairs. By some means, she felt nervous when she took it. So then, she turned on the screen and notifications fired up. There were too many missed calls from the club members. She got tangled and dialled the recent missed call which belongs to Natasha.
After a short ringing, it was picked up.
“Teach!”
She doesn’t know but she is anxious about this, especially that Natasha is sobbing.
“Did something happen—
“It’s Cyn…”
She froze and her body started getting cold with the name she heard.
“H-He was hit by a truck… he is… he is currently in the emergency room of YE Hospital.”
“I-I’ll go there right now.”
She hung up the call and immediately took a coat from her wardrobe. Her hands were trembling and she didn't know what to do. She run outside her room, to the stairs and went inside Sean’s room to wake him up.
She was crying when she told Sean about what happened. So they went to the said hospital in the middle of the night. Sean teleported there and Tia was running to the entrance as soon as they landed. When Tia arrived at the emergency room, she saw Natasha and other club members. However, one thing that made her stop was the familiar man who just stood up from his seat. But it is not the time to work on her lingering feelings.
The club members ran towards her to embrace her. They cried in her arms while they explained what happened. She found out that Arthviu was with Troy when it happened. Everything was interrupted when the emergency room’s door opened and a doctor came out.
“Who is the guardian of the patient?”
“It’s me.” Tia immediately spoke.
“Due to the accident, the patient has severe head and bone injury. He has lost too much blood and—
“Can you save him?” Tia grabbed the doctor’s arm, looking desperate.
“I am very sorry to say this madam but even if we perform surgery right away, there will only be 10% chance to save—
“Please save him. Please do whatever it takes to save him!” Tia started begging even though she is losing all her vigour. She is feeling weak as she also knows the cause of this situation.
Desperate to save Arthviu, she turned around to Sean. She held his hand tight. “Can you save him?”
Sean did not speak and he could not look into her eyes. Tia could only cry because she knows very well that everything will get worse once Sean gets close to Cyn again.
“Is there any other way?” Tia fell on her knees but Sean caught her before she fell to the ground.
He guided her to the seats to make her rest. He asked the club members to take care of her before he started walking to the hospital’s exit.
Sean was looking devastated when he turned his back. He walks fast to go out, disappeared with the air, and appeared in the rooftop of the hospital. He staggered when he landed in but he tried to stay composed and focused. He gathered all his limited magic throughout the space. He closed his eyes to bring out all the strength from his body to add more magic. So then he raised his hand to the sky as a ray of light fuelled the clouds. Bluish thunders roared in the sky. It was so silent that no ordinary person can hear it but… Hugheles whose thousand miles away felt its deafening rumble.
Hugheles felt an extremely uneasy feeling upon hearing the loudest rumble he has ever heard. He immediately disappeared from the vacation he was on, to look for Sean. His hands were trembling with that unusual call from his son. Something serious might have happened that Sean had to use all of his magic to do that just to call him. He immediately stopped when he felt Sean’s presence somewhere. He saw him staggering on the top of the building.
“Son—
Hugheles was cut when Sean suddenly grabbed his hand tight. He got worried after seeing the blood that was coming out of his nose and mouth.
“Please…” Sean stuttered. He gave all he got to relay what he wanted to say.
Hugheles’ eyes went wide as it met Sean’s desperate look. Tears were coming out from his eyes as well as blood! He is running out of magic! If he continues using magic, he will…
“…please, save him. Do something to save him, father.”
His heart crumpled with that determination he can feel from his son. He never expected that his son would actually do something reckless for her. He has never imagined his cold son to beg him for something he knows will not even happen.
He clicked his tongue, looking frustrated at his son’s request that he knows he cannot reject. He teleported himself inside the hospital, leaving Sean there. He walked towards the operating room where he could feel the presence of a soul there. He hushed when Tia noticed him and she remained silent. Invisible in ordinary people’s sight, he went through the door and his eyes went wide after meeting the missing soul.
“Why can I go back?” The missing soul was looking at his body. It was not within the body but it has already gone from its body! This only means that…
He looked at the body being revived by the surgeons.
“It’s no use. You cannot go back anymore.”
The missing soul turned to him and was shocked to realize that someone could actually see him. Hugheles looked at the missing soul, having mixed feelings of agony and relief.
“You,” Hugheles called for the missing soul.
“Me?” The missing soul asked.
“Yes. Let’s talk.”
SEAN finally managed to arrive at the first floor where Tia and others were located. He went out of the elevator and walked while staggering and feeling like he was about to lose his consciousness.
“Sir, are you alright?” A nurse noticed his bad state and approached him. “Let us take you to the emergency room, sir.”
He shook his head.
“You need medical assistance, sir.”
A male nurse helped him walk to the emergency room. Sean wanted to refuse but he could not even open his mouth because of the numbing of his whole body. He could not even see clearly. He was taken to the emergency room and was treated there until ten minutes later, he tried opening his mouth to speak.
“Tia…”
The nurse noticed him so she leaned close to his face.
“Are you saying something, sir?”
“Tia…”
“Tia? Is she a family member? Do you want me to look for her?”
He slowly nodded before speaking again.
“O…R.”
“OR? Is she in the operating room, sir?”
He nodded. The female nurse asked someone to look for Tia and they immediately found her outside the operating room. Tia was running towards the emergency room when she heard about it.
“W-What happened?”
Tia was shocked to see Sean’s state. His head was full of bondage and he was sitting like a rock. She took his hand with tears in her eyes. She is so confused as to why this happened on a whim. He just went out to do something but why did he come back like he went to a battlefield?
Sean’s hand held her tight and he gave her a commanding look. Tia thought that he might want to say something so she leaned close to him. So then, Sean slowly wrapped his arm around her as he pulled her close. Tia immediately wrapped her arms around him too, thinking that he might want her to be close to him. Moderately, she leaned her head to his shoulder.
They were engulfed with silence and stayed close to each other for a few minutes. Sean wanted to speak but he should have a rest. The reason why he pulled her close is because he is absorbing some of Tia’s mana to cure his physical injury. He needs mana to recover and only Tia can provide it since they came from the same world. Sean’s magic is limited when he is in this world which is why… he could not do an excessive magic spell. He should have not teleported but he did it without thinking when he saw Tia’s agony. He should have not called the Hugheles since he knows that… Hugheles cannot prevent someone’s death.
HUGHELES took the missing soul somewhere in the hospital.
“See it yourself.” Hugheles announced before turning his gaze to the lovers.
The missing soul then turned his head too and his eyes went wide after seeing Tia hugging a man…
He was shocked to see that man’s face for the first time. His heart immediately shuddered with the sight of that looking the same as him.
“The reason why you could not see his face was because he is your other self.”
“Does Tia really come from another world?”
“Yes. She came here to complete her ‘will’.”
“’Will’?”
“She is one of the united souls. Her soul in this world has already collided with her other soul in the parallel world. She is also a special case as she was given a chance to remember her life in this world.”
“Do you mean that Tia was once alive in this world but… she…”
“Yes. She passed away and she came back to meet the people she has left a grudge with.”
“Can you tell who s-she is in this world?” What if I’ve known her?
“I think she was a singer…. named Scyttiarl.”
His eyes went wide as he remembered that time when he listened to her songs when he was a child. He still can remember her posters everywhere in the city.
‘Mom,’ he called his mother’s name while he looked at the poster with Scyttiarl’s image.
‘Her eyes… looked sad…’
He can clearly remember when the media berserk with the news of a pop singer jumping from the rooftop of her own agency. She was mourned by the whole country and because of what happened to her, influencers and celebrities started taking action about abuse of some entertainment companies. Because of what happened to her, people have become conscious of their mental health.
Who would ever think… that someone like her… had been through a lot? Who could ever think that she is that … person who never told her pain to everyone?
“Have you decided now?”
He halted, his deep thoughts were interrupted when he heard the guardian’s voice. He looked towards Tia and his other self.
“Does that man take care of Tia?”
“Yes, very carefully that he almost chose you over his own life.”
The missing soul got silenced. He looked at how that man held Tia in his arms. He was being gentle and considerate of her. The look in his eyes is filled with feelings and love.
“Will I be able to remember my life here?”
“Do you even want to remember?”
The missing soul got silenced again as he could only think of the depressing moments he had in his family. He does not want to remember that. He does want to remember Tia but… looking at how close that man is to her, it seems like he will enjoy everything in his memories.
“Can I ask one more favour?”
“Yes, please.”
“Can I talk to Tia? One last time?”
Hugheles stared at him for a few seconds before he snapped his fingers and the time stopped.
“I can only give you two minutes.” He announced before leaving the room to give them time.
TIA was confused when she could not hear anything. She moved to look at the surroundings just to see her frozen self while hugging Sean who’s frozen two. She panicked and she looked at her hands. Everything is white and she is glowing! This feels like the time when she travelled to the other world— could it be?
“Tia…”
She flinched and she looked around to see where the voice came from. Her eyes went wide when she saw a familiar spirit but what shocked her even more is…
“Cyn?” She started trembling as she could not believe that the spirit she thought was a dream was actually....
It was Cyn. He had long bluish hair like Sean’s. And his face is starting to look like Sean— W-What does this mean…?
Arthviu walked towards her as he wrapped his arms around her. He held her tight in his arms with tears of joy in his eyes.
“I’m so glad you can see me now, Tia. I am so happy that I can see you one last time.”
“C-Cyn? W-Why am I seeing you…”
Arthviu looked at her eyes. He touched her cheeks and looked at the face of the woman he admired before.
“You are really Scyttiarl.” His tears fell with the thought of saying goodbye to her. “Please don’t be sad when I am gone.”
“W-What…?”
Arthviu started caressing her cheeks. “I am so happy that I can be with you… I am so happy that we… we can be together in the other world. I am so happy that I can leave without making you sad for too long.”
Diamond tears streamed like rivers from his eyes. He sobbed with the mixed feelings he had in his heart. He kissed Tia’s lips before speaking with his most genuine smile. “I love you, Tia. I will love you, utmost. I will see you with a veil and a wedding dress.”
Arthviu slowly faded as Tia reached out her hand to grab him but she woke up in tears.
“Are you okay, Tia?”
She came back to senses as she let go of embracing Sean. What just happened?
Sean started wiping her tears away. “I am alright now. You don’t need to worry.” He smiled genuinely, making her see the image of the person she just met a while ago.
Her tears started forming from her eyes again. It really happened.

“Teach!”
Someone came inside the room while calling her name. She immediately stood up to see Suviss. He was crying and was trembling when he ran to her. He grabbed her hand and dragged her with him. They ran to the operating room as they saw the other members hug each other.
When she arrived, the doctor came to her. “I am really sorry, madam. We have done our very best to save the patient...”
She knew this was coming.
