Chapter 90 End

“Good morning, Keighra!” I greeted my dog. She wagged her tail and jumped to my bed.
I gently pat her head, and stroke her soft fur. After I stroked her fur, I stood up and went to my window.
I slowly moved the curtains, until the sunlight reflected my glass window. It's a beautiful, and sunny day, I won't let someone that will ruin my day.
Furthermore, I went to my bathroom and washed my body, and after cleaning myself, I will dry up my hair.
After my morning routine, I went out of my room, and go downstairs. My dog followed me until we reached the kitchen.
It's quiet, what will you expect from the girl who was living on her own? I took a deep breath and let it out slowly.
I walked to the fridge, and it's nearly empty. I need to restock the fridge for the next month.
All of a sudden, my dog barked, “Are you hungry? Okay,” I asked. She wagged her tail, so I raised my hand to signal her to stay, and behave.
I get some dog food and put it in her bowl. I sent some signals to her, so she can start to eat.
She will be going to eat those foods if I already gave her a consent and signal that I agree to do the things.
Furthermore, I fried some nuggets and sausages. I cooked some hams and cut some apples.
I sat down at the dining table while preparing my food. It looks delicious, I heard my stomach was growling, and asking for food.
After a while, I washed my plates, and wipe the table. I changed my clothes into a fit crop-top, and leggings.
I tied up my hair and put on some knee pads. I wore my rubber shoes and looked for the leash of my dog.
We are going to walk outside to exercise her muscle as well as my body too. I gave her some water, and after a few minutes, we started to walk.
I locked my door for security and began to walk. At first, she's so active and wagging her tail.
I brought some treats for her, so I can train her, and teach her some additional tricks.
We reached the park, and the children were playing at the playground. They are swaying and sliding at the slides.
When I saw the bench, I immediately walked through the pathway just to sit on the bench. I'm about to sit when someone speaks to me.
“Hello! Can we share? My legs are tired, because of walking for 2 hours, and I need to rest, sorry for disturbing you,” he said with a weary voice.
I looked at him, and my jaw dropped. It's him! The boy that I asked for his name, but he declined it.
“Yeah, sure, besides the bench was not mine, so you can sit,” I replied. I sat while holding the leash of my dog.
“She's cute, what's her name?” he asked while pointing at my dog. I gave my gaze to him, “She's Keighra, a pomeranian toy poodle.”
He smiled at me, “Nice! Can I touch her?” he said. I nodded as a sign of my answer.
At first, Keighra was smelling him, until she gave her permission to touch her. She wagged her tail while smelling his hand.
“How are you? It's been a while since the last time that I talked to you, I don't know if you still remember me?” he said while a wide smile was drawn on his face.
“I'm okay? Everything is going well for now, and I learned a lot of lessons from my experiences.” My shoulder slumped down, and lean at the bench.
Keighra jumped into my lap, and she lay down on my lap. I gently pat her head, and slowly stroked her fur.
“Same, my job at the theme park was already done, and I'm looking for a stable job that can support my financial needs,” he muttered.
He's looking at the sky, while leaning his back at the bench, he puts his hands at the back of his head.
“May I know your name?” I asked, and hoping for him to reply to my question. He glanced at me with a wary eye.
“Sure, I'm Caden De Leus, and you?” he lends his hand as a sign of he's going to shake my hand for introducing us to each other.
“I'm Sapphire Johnsen, nice to finally meet you!” I exclaimed. I shake our hands.
My heart was comfortable to him. It's like he's a good person, and he's having a soft heart, that's what my instinct was telling me.
“I don't know if I should ask this, but are you free next week? Or this week? I'm just going to invite you for dinner or desserts,” Caden said.
I glanced at him and gave him a smile.
“Maybe, tomorrow? Or to the next weekdays? I'm available and I think, I can adjust and manage my time,” I replied to his invitation.
“Really? I just want to talk to you sometimes. Don't worry, my only intention is just to be friends to others.”
He gave me a sweet and genuine smile that no one can replace. I'm not good at reading people and I'm just a normal person who wants to live in a normal life.
I hope that I'm not wrong about my impressions of him. However, I still need to be careful of everyone.
I should take the lessons from my past experiences, and I know it's not good, and I won't let that happen again.
Likewise, I'm still knowing him, and seeking some information about him, so why not?
“You want to eat? I know some restaurants that the pets are allowed to get inside or the restaurant for pets, but some food is best for humans, do you want to go with me?” he asked with a sincere voice.
I agreed with him, since it's the weekend, so it's my rest day from paper works, and school works. We stood up and began to walk.
“How do you know that kind of restaurant?” I asked with a bewildered look on my face. He giggles, “Of course, I also have some pets in my house, but mostly, my pets were dogs.”
I nodded, “So, you have some different breeds of dogs?” I asked. He replied with a soft voice, “Yes, but to be honest, having some pets are high maintenance for me.”
I smiled, but for me, it's just normal, because pets also have life, and they need some important things to keep them healthy, and alive.
From the vitamins, foods, and kinds of milk. However, Keighra was still a baby when I got her. I remembered, my parents were disagreeing with me for having some pets inside of my house.
I ignored them and still have some pets. When we reached the destination, the crew was kind and helpful.
When we entered the restaurant, he searched for the vacant seat, until he found one at the corner of the restaurant.
We ordered some food, and also for my dog.
Maybe, it's a sign that I need to socialize with different people again. Since my mother has died, I avoided the people, and keep myself inside of my room.
I will only be getting out from it when I need to buy some stuff that I need for my everyday routine.
I should socialize with them just to make my patience long, and my understanding of the different things.
“You know what, the day has come, and I'm stuck in the ghost of my memories, it's like the person who already gone in this world was always following wherever you go, and for sure, they will scare the heck of you.”
My eyes widened when he suddenly speaks up.
Our order came, and the staff was slowly putting it down at our table.
“So, if you are seeing someone that you know, it's probably your conscience for not helping them, or listening to them, take note! That's only in my opinion,” he added.
My heart skipped a beat and gasping for air.
“Life is beautiful, you just need to enjoy every second of your life, and don't be stuck in the Ghost of your Memories! Keep going, and everything will going to be successful according to your dreams, and goals, just keep fighting! Okay?” he explained.
I gave him a wide, and cheerfully smile. It's indeed my sign to start a new life with the new people that will come into my life.
Just remember! Today was just a page of your novel! Just keep seeking, and exploring until you reach your ending!
