It is a new day, and even though yesterday almost had a problem today is a different day, according to Xavier, he talked with the prefects later on, I thought our meeting he assured us that we should not keep our mouth shut, in fact he knows who is against us but he cannot stand against that person, Now it’s not like he’s afraid, it's more or less like a trust issue, Sarah has always been helpful with a lot of things, but she had her own bad character, the whole school has noticed it, and even my brother has noticed it.
Xavier said.

“I’m very sure this all happened yesterday, we are no strangers to whatever was shown yesterday but anyhow, dead boy said he will not always intervene, he would want us to prove more or less that we can tackle somethings out of its box and then he will step in. Stepping in as its pros and cons, if we would step in we will have to not be disrespectful, if we would step in we would have to mind some words that would say, if it was stepping more up to step in in the most lawful way possible.
Like yesterday we took turns in trying to prove why we should have a say in the matter but tomorrow is not going to be the same way and so is today, if we don't meet up to the standards in which we have set for ourselves then we will disgrace ourselves in front of them, no I’m not saying that we should be proud but we should not allow them to trample upon us, according to the head boy, Sarah does not like people talking against her except the head boy and the other prefects, now we are not prefects but we have a say in this issue so we have to do our best not to make things complicated for him and also for us and he told me something, The thing is, this is a good location for them to celebrate their valedictory service, now if you look at it this is actually a good idea, the whole idea behind this 5 days run away is because of the seniors, now the plan of the school was to celebrate the anniversary of the school and then celebrate the valedictory service of the seniors but instead of Putting in everything separately Why not just attach everything together, now he’s not sure that everybody will agree with this But she thinks it’s a good idea, he has only run his through me but he plans to run it's through these seniors, and we will see the seniors remain the whole class, now all he asks from us is that we should support him, when this particular day comes, he would want our support.” Xavier explained.
After all that he said we headed for the meeting, in this meeting we talked about day three and we planned for an excursion, we will go to a good place not just good but also fun, and we would try to keep everyone together, today she was quiet but she was quiet because she wanted something else, she did not want to talk because she felt like everyone was going to disagree and jump on whatever she was going to say, however it was successful and it was quick.
I personally like the head boy because he knows what is right, he stands for what is right, he has no problem listening to anyone’s ideas, he knows what he wants and also he is calm. I have no problem standing with him obviously this is not something I would debate on, no I am looking at it we had little to no plan for day 5 but we have enough plans now to move on and prove ourselves in the meeting. Today’s meeting went well and we had no serious set back.
Now for the four we had our plans but the teachers give us an order.
“This is coming from the principal, today you would not be having any class because you would be going to check out the venue itself, the venue is located in lekki and I am sure we are all familiar with the place at least on paper.
You all be leaving by 12 and will be sleeping over till the next day, two teachers will accompany you there and you would be giving accounts on the location itself, now we have already chosen this location according to you people, so we are not really going to change our minds, the only reason we send you over there is because for the sake of future plans you will need to see this place before actually deciding you have planned this event, now the reason you will be sleeping over is because you will need to understand how these students are going to stay in their hostels and how it is going to feel, complaints like it's not wide enough, it's not big enough and all of those things we can only be tackled now before we actually completely decide this is the perfect place, you’ll be checking out the halls, you'll be checking out the secret rooms or the non specified rooms, this is an order from the principal so please be ready by 12.”
The teacher said, I mean I know we would be going To this place soon but I never thought it would be this sudden.
After that short break we were on the move, we carried one bus and inside was all of us present for the meetings and Two teachers, one male and one female to be exact, the only reason they are following us is not for guidance but For stability, So the ideology is There should be at least one teacher or something, because when you look at it we are complete, there are five boys and there are five girls and that is already stable,
any who they will be leaving tomorrow morning because tomorrow is Saturday and we will be leaving probably at noon, there’s a long drive but we later got there and just like we predicted, because they’re late by 4:00 PM, now if you look at it from our point of view, which students would want to engage in any stressful activity by 4:00 PM?
Any who we got off the bus and we took a stroll, there was somebody there waiting for us, he was our tour guide, our teachers were going to be our tour guide but they'll be coming here next week.
we have a plan of dividing everybody because everyone together will be too much, look at it from my angle, if one teacher handles around 200 students how much would you shout, how many we hear you, how many can you properly see?
 That was intrudes so we have decided to group them into 50 / 50 now we need four teachers and I know one teacher would probably carry 10 more students than every other teacher but we would need four teachers.
our tour guide was a nice woman who knew this place like the back of her hand, we did not expect this space to be this big, but indeed it was, this was enough to gather all the students and then give an order for them to head out to wherever they are supposed to, the parking lot is good enough, they have fountains, and the venue is massive, the small venue was exactly what we depicted but the big venue was crazy, even though we invite students I’m very sure there will still be empty chairs.
 In the big venue there was a toilet and outside the big venue there was a stand, now on the day of the event these stands are going to be occupied by people who would be selling snacks to the kids, the first batch of snacks are always free for the second batch you will need a little bit of money, I don’t see this as a wrong action but someone had something to say.
“Excuse me, are you trying to tell me that we’ll be paying for our snacks after the first serve?” sarah said to our tour guide.
“Oh yes Madam, we would be giving out a free first serve, but if you add or if you want more then you may have to pay.” She replied her.
“I don’t find that fair, I mean we are paying for this place, if we are paying for this place then why do we need to pay for any other thing, these kids are going to be having breakfasts and also launch and there’s no forget dinner and they won’t be paying a dime, but when it has to do with snacks do you have to pay? That’s preposterous” Sarah kept on talking.
Sometimes people tend to do things that are necessary and in my opinion what she said Well was unnecessary, OK I should rephrase it was necessary but the tone and the language was unnecessary, I mean she could have just said oh sorry I don’t understand why we still need to pay after we have already paid for the whole building. now that's a nice approach I don’t see her getting annoyed or pissed at that particular question if she is then she is I don’t know she has her own issues.
“Young lady you did buy the building but you did not buy the service of everyone in the building, now let me get something through, you've bought the building and you've bought the compound and you've rented it more or less just for five days if you choose for us not to have these kiosks open or this stands for function then just give us the word and we'll leave you to it sports for this not to be or seem like a zombie land for the kids it should be open, plus you have our chief's attention you have our securities attention you have everyone's attention but these ones are not bound to the building these are the shops and stands that they bought in the building.
 This place is a busy place because of you guys there will be no event holding here for around 5 days that was almost a week and if you guys are going to pay for everything then you will also pay for these people's stands because they still need to sell, yes this is a closed off place but it is also open and according to the teachers I hear that you will be inviting other schools now imagine when inviting other schools they can actually get something to eat excluding what you will give them where they are not tied to whatever it is they have to eat but what it is they can and they want to eat more or less, So if you saw it in that direction or if you understood it that way then I don’t think you would ask this question but I hope that my explanation has proven that distance must hold for themselves because they are privately owned.” She said, literally mowing Sarah to the ground, I can tell that this was a mother and she is a mother that takes no rubbish.
After the explanation we all looked at her and then even though she was embarrassed she shouldered everything with a fake smile and fake response.
 “Oh OK now I understand, you can carry on please” she said looking at her as we all moved on.
After that short drama we moved on to a gate, This Gate he lives to the boys hostel we could not enter inside but we stood outside, at this point it was just the boys that could enter inside So we were going to then take a stroll to the girl’s hostel and then we were both going to walk back to our sleeping locations.
Right outside the gate a phone rang and it was konna's he had a call and he excused himself to pick the call and then I remembered, I am not with my phone, I mean in totality I am not even with my purse, I panicked for a while but then I remembered, I left it in the bus, I did carry my bag but not my small pause, so I had to go back.
“uh, uhh.” I was panicking because I did not know how to tell everyone or even take permission till the tour guide noticed me.
“Are you okay?” My female teacher asked me.
“Yeah, umm, sorry forgive me but I forgot
something in the bus.” I said.
“Oh OK, well do you know your way to the bus?” She asked me.
“Yeah of course but I don’t know if you guys will still be here or you guys would move forward so is there a location in which I will meet you guys in case I don’t meet you guys here?” I asked her.
“OK then meet us at the big venue, I mean we’ll be passing there in order to go to the girls hostel so it will be better for you to meet us there.” She said.
“Is there anyone who would like to accompany her?” She asked and then Sarah raised her hand to signify she is available to help me. I cared less and allowed her accompany me because in my mind I said, how bad could it be. I was right, how bad could it be indeed.
We walked for a while without saying nothing and I was waiting for her to say a word but at the same time I was trying to be careful to not reply her rudely.
“oh, Aella the careful and pompous has forgotten her purse.” She said. She was behind me but a little far, we were at this point far from them, though they were not many corners it was still far.
“I am not perfect, I do make mistakes and I have made a common one.” I replied.
“Common indeed, miss high and mighty, always smart with words.” She said, trying to prick me and indeed she was successful.
“What exactly is your problem?” I asked her, stopping in my tracks. She was then quiet.
“I was only trying to play with you, why are you all serious.” She said, now acting like a victim in the situation.
“That is not you playing, not after you have repeatedly brought up the topic, I forgot something so please let it be, in fact, you are not supposed to be here.” I said, I wasn’t having any of her rubbish, I was already angry that I forgot something but she trying to ring this over my head just sucks.
“I mean I volunteered to help you, so least you can do is just be nice.” She said .
“Thank You, but at the same time I did not ask for your help, like you said you volunteered.” I said
“Oh Of course always smart with words, So tell me what does your purse look like, so I know what I am also looking for.” She said
“Oh it’s a brown….” I tried to explain before she cut me short.
“eww, brown I thought you had class, that’s weird but I don’t care so.” She said.
At this moment I was really trying to control myself so then I decided not to talk.
“oh, so now you are quiet?” She said
“ so, I should go back or…” she said trying to complete her sentence.
“Do as you wish, go back if you wish.” I said and then started to walk again, I was going by myself, with no torch and no guidance, truth be told I don’t know where I am going but I am still going. Luckily, I got there and I saw our bus parked in a dark corner.
Sarah already headed back to the crew I guess, I don’t know, I really did not care so I went in, it was open, the driver was not with us but he was not in the bus either, so he was probably around the corner any who I was in now so I started searching, but I really could not find, I needed aid. Aid with what? you may ask, well I needed aid with the light, so I went to the dashboard of the bus even though I know nothing about a vehicle I proudly went there, I booked around and I found the light switch, I flipped it a couple of times and it was brighter with every flip but then I just left it the best way possible.
No our boss is weird it can be locked from the outside, I’m very sure I forgot to mention that but it can be open also from the outside, there is a button in which did not come with the bus but it was modded on it.
After searching and searching I finally found My purse and immediately I picked it up the lights went off, I was not scared because I mean I’ve already done what I wanted to do but then I heard the door lock, this was strange because I don’t know what happened and I don’t know whom we locked the door, was it the driver? Was it in malfunction?
Add questions but I was now slowly getting scared, the lighthouse to come up again I tapped and tapped way to come on and then go dim immediately, now I was getting kind of angst but that was just the beginning my fear multiplied the minute I started hearing noises outside the door.
Boom this is the scene from a horror movie of course I know what you’re thinking oh it could be a demon or something well it was not and at the time I did not know what it was so yes, I had your ideology and I also concluded it was a demon.
Though it was not quite the same, I was scared because everything became quieter. In the bus I could hear the breeze passing through tight spaces, I could hear the Creek of something in which I did not know but it’s something was moving.
At this point I wonder to myself; will I die in here? what will be my end? is this it is this the end? Well, yes that was what I was thinking till I had a bang outside, this was not the sound from another car hitting another car, this was the sound of something hitting the boss, there was no one close I mean I’m not stupid I would have probably seen or heard footsteps but no, no, no, no, no, no, no this was different this was really different, after the bang I immediately rushed to the Side of the bus facing the wall.
We were packed sideways, the entrance facing the outskirts and the other side of the Bus which is the left side backing the wall. Now this was the scene where my Reality started to look like An actual movie.
it was quiet for a while but then I Heard another bang but this time after the bang I didn’t heard sounds that could only be described as scratches.
In every horror movie there is this particular scene that is only considered stupid well let’s just see this scene is called the call outs scene.
“ hello.” The words I said after hearing the scratches, After this word I know I was not expecting somebody to say, Oh it’s me a friend of yours, but I was expecting something. There came another bang but then I heard someone shout my name from far away. The minute this happened I heard footsteps like somebody was running away, but I cared less, all I cared about was the person shouting my name and the next thing that I said more or less shouted was.
“Yes, I’m here. Help me.” these were the words that came out of my mouth but then it hits me, what if the person shouting my name was the enemy, the person who I don’t know, maybe the monster or demon and I just answered.
“Aella.” I had again but this time it was closer.
 in my country we are deeply rooted in religion and sometimes tradition Is what we follow, now I remember the times where mom would say.
“If you hear anybody call you inside darkness or in the middle of the night don’t answer it’s a bad thing, especially if you know that there is no one there and you are the only one there.” She said. No back then I’ll ask out of curiosity.
“Mom? What is the thing in the darkness.” But she would always push the topic aside.
Until one day, I stubbornly did not allow it to die down and then she told me.
“What lies inside the shadows is dark, ugly with horns, and can actually sound like humans, what lies in the dark is what lies in the dark it may be a monster it may be a demon but don’t answer or they will find you.” Now the part she said they will find you, is the part I am probably scared off right now, I don’t know who they are, and even though back then she said it to make me scared, the older I grew the more understood things and the more I understood things the more I discovered that demons and monsters do exist, this was just facts, now I was scared so scared I was shivering because I answered the voice that came from the darkness and I knew not what would happen next.
