It must have been hours. Mira and Kian were still going in circles, looking for a way out. They had no way of knowing that they did not come to that spot by themselves. They were brought there. All four of them. Because they had met each other. All Chemorian had one single power source and it was intricately related with The Heartstaff. The rise of the Southern Star was near. Every tribe was in fear. They had no other option but to send their best new-borns to planet Earth, with a filament of the Heartstaff's resonance, buried deep inside their hearts. It would act as the alarm for their awakening. It would draw them towards their mission. Braze and Xen had decided to meet atop those mountains as well, to know more about each other and share more of their secrets. The mountain was something they both agreed on but Braze seemed to reach early. He had skipped school, completely unaware that the entire class was headed there. Little did they know that things would get complicated with Watchers on their trail. " Did you lose the wolf? " Rozelle yelled in her invisible head piece. " Yeah, I think. But I'm tracking him. " George on the other hand answered with his reluctance. " That idiot! " Rozelle was getting restless as usual because she hated mistakes. She had no idea she would be coming face to face with a quadruple shifter in the middle of her quest to find the unidentified jumper from those footage. " Fine. I will do it myself. " She was getting a strong indication in her device that the shifter was extraterrestrial. She pulled her gun out and began moving around the rocks as her device beeped aloud in her head, indicating that her target was close. She and her brothers were orphans. She used to be a quiet school girl until one day when she returned home without her brother. She thought she was in trouble but her parents praised her for her mistake. " Good girl. It's alright. They will take George back to the Headquarters. You should get out of here as well. There are evils from outside our planet that are trying to take over. I know this doesn't make sense to you at the moment, but when you complete your training, you will get to know. Mother and I, will need to leave you with the elders at the Headquarters Rozelle. Take good care of your brother. " Those were her father's last words. She never got to meet him after that. " It's my fault that George turned out so irresponsible, " she muttered under her breath, " I loved him too much. I gave him too much care. " She advanced on tiptoes, the laser tip of her gun pointing forward, hunting its prey with wild impatience. And then it found the wolf. The wolf had its eyes locked. He was about to pounce on its prey. That was probably why he failed to notice the laser tip gliding away from him again. The Wolf was looking directly at George's neck. George was busy munching on a chocolate in the middle of their chase. Rozelle was enraged. She was a perfectionist. And she hated irresponsible people. " Little Georgie... You must learn your lesson. " In that moment of anger, Rozelle made a rash decision. She decided to let her brother handle the wolf and not meddle in the matter. She watched as the wolf took her brother by surprise. His neck was barely saved by the thick padding of his jacket. But the intensity of the wolf's leap over him was so strong that both the wolf and George fell down a rabbit hole, just beside where George was happily sitting and munching. Rozelle leaped into action the moment they disappeared from her gaze. " Ahh! Stupid me. How did I believe George could tackle this? Now I have more work for myself. Gosh! I had him. His neck was at my trigger. Rozelle, stop thinking with your heart stupid a*s! " She jumped a couple of bushes but as soon as she came near the rabbit hole, a group of girls and boys came rushing at her, screaming and yelling. They grabbed Rozelle as if they were drowning and found an anchor. One would think a lion was after them. But then, it turned out it was just a big sized rodent. " Get off me! " Rozelle yelled as they finally moved away from her. " What are you? Five? You scream like that because of a rat? Get out of here. Now! I don't have time anymore for babies sulking in the woods. " Her roar made them cower but then a brave little soul, our Stella raised her hand up. " Ma'am do you know the way out of here? We were here on a trekking trip from school but then one by one everyone got lost and separated. We can't find our teachers or friends. Our phones also have no reception. You look like you were taking a stroll here. You definitely know how we can get out. Please help. " Rozelle wanted to smack her in the face and get out of there but their puppy eyes and ragged state garnered some sympathy. They were human after all. And the Watchers had used their special device to jam all sorts of communication in the area to be able to isolate and locate the source of the Chemorian power that their device could detect. The reason those students could not get back was partially because of them. She could not undo the jamming system until their mission was over. It was something the Headquarters controlled. She could at least show them the way out of the Mountains. " Follow me, " the students lined up before she finished her statement. " Thank you... " Stella just opened her mouth but Rozelle put the gun's muzzle directly inside her mouth. " Stop talking or you will regret it with your life. I am not here to babysit. I am just doing you a favor. Not another word... understood? " Stella was shaking from head to toe but she managed to nod her head.
