Chapter 21: Insect merging

Tony's level 5 ant, even if accidentally discovered by others, didn't attract much attention due to its size.
Currently, Tony didn't have any plans to mass upgrade the quantity of level 5 ants.
At the moment, he wasn't sure how to use these level 5 ants.
"Next, let's copy and merge the abilities of the ant," Tony looked at his level 5 ant with eager anticipation.
"Ding! The host has currently harvested the ability of a level 5 ant: Huge Force 1 level. Host, would you like to merge? Merging will grant the host five times the strength."
"Five times the strength?" Tony exclaimed excitedly.
"To merge or not to merge?" The system reminded once again.
"Merge!" Tony replied.
A warm and surging force spread throughout Tony's body. Shortly after, he began to sense an unprecedented source of strength in his body. The muscles on his body tightened, as if they were about to explode.
Tony felt like he could lift an entire Ford 150.
Standing at 1.86 meters tall and weighing 89 kg, after merging with Huge Force level 1, he could lift an object weighing up to five times his body weight, which was nearly 450 pounds.
Tony didn't need any training to be able to lift such a weight; it was truly an unimaginable feat.
His lifting capacity could rival that of "The Mountain" Hafthor Bjornsson, famous for his role as Gregor Clegane in "Game of Thrones." Hafthor Bjornsson could lift a weight of 472kg without the assistance of a specialized deadlift suit.
Tony stood up and looked around the room; he was searching for something.
Then, he glanced at his bed. Walking towards the bed, Tony squatted down, clasping his hands firmly around the bed frame, and effortlessly lifted the bed.
Seeing the bed hovering in the air, Tony couldn't contain his joy.
Finally, he had become as strong as he had hoped.
Thinking about the level 2 dragonfly in the room, Tony couldn't wait to see what he could achieve next.
Placing the bed back hastily on the floor, it made a loud noise that was audible even to Jack downstairs.
Jack, sitting in the living room, shouted, "Tony, what are you doing?"
Tony was startled by Jack's voice. He realized he had gotten a bit too carried away.
Tony shouted back, "Sorry, Dad, I'm rearranging the bed frame."
Jack's voice echoed, "Be careful up there."
After dealing with Jack, Tony immediately went on to upgrade the level 2 dragonfly.
"Upgrade to level 3 for the dragonfly requires 100 life points. Upgrade?"
"Upgrade to level 4 for the dragonfly requires 300 life points. Upgrade?"
"Upgrade to level 5 for the dragonfly requires 500 life points. Upgrade?"
"Agree."
The dragonfly quickly reached level 5. Its wingspan extended to 25 cm, and its head now resembled an adult's thumb.
Currently, the level 5 dragonfly looked like a model airplane with its wings level.
"Ding! The host has currently harvested the ability of a level 5 dragonfly: Calculation 1 level. Host, would you like to merge? Merging will grant the host five times the calculation ability."
"Calculation?" Tony wondered, then found the answer as he recalled some information he had read about dragonflies.
Dragonflies have the ability to calculate speed to perfection for hunting prey. Moving and catching prey in space requires a complex nervous system. However, in a study on dragonflies conducted in 1999, scientists found that instead of "chasing" their prey, dragonflies choose a location where the prey will fly to and intercept it.
Therefore, dragonflies must calculate three things in one hunt: distance to the prey, direction of movement, and its flying speed.
Combining the Huge Force of ants with the calculation ability of dragonflies seemed like a perfect combination.
"Merge!" Tony replied.
Tony suddenly felt his eyes and brain become cool and clear, making him more sober.
The vivid image of a mosquito suddenly appeared clearly in his eyes.
A buzzing mosquito was flying around, searching for a way to get to Tony.
Tony's eyes moved unconsciously to follow the dragonfly.
His hand shot up, thumb and index finger pinching in mid-air.
In a certain position.
Bringing the two fingers held together in front of him, Tony saw a crushed mosquito lying dead on his finger.
At this moment, Tony became fully aware of the formidable calculation ability provided by the dragonfly.
Tony parked the car in an underground garage. Then, he and Young took the elevator from the basement to the shopping center on the third floor.
Young stepped out of the elevator first, and Tony, noticing this, quickly followed, suddenly grabbing Young's hand.
Young felt delighted as Tony held her hand.
She turned to smile at Tony and said, "I thought you didn't know how to hold my hand!"
"How could that be? I'm not that foolish," Tony said.
The two walked hand in hand through the supermarket.
