Max, at this point, was already quite irritated. He pushed his chair back, about to stand up, when Tony's words stopped him.
"When you entered, you didn't even notice our presence. Now you want us to pay attention to you? I don't think we're that boring," Tony said, dismissing Carlos as he turned to attend to the grilling for Young.
Seeing this, Carlos realized he couldn't do anything to Tony and Max in the restaurant.
Originally, he just wanted to provoke Max and Tony out of frustration, as he had once pursued Anna without success and later attempted to pursue Young with no luck either.
So, seeing Anna and Young dining with someone else, Carlos felt a bit uncomfortable and decided to pick a fight.
If they were outside, Carlos would have confronted Tony differently, but inside the restaurant, he dared not create a scene.
Watching Tony handle the situation with ease, Carlos sneered and said, "Tony, right? We'll settle this later."
"Tony Smith, if you want to know more about me, I'm always ready. But making foolish moves to provoke me is not wise. You won't have a good outcome," Tony responded confidently.
In the past, Tony wouldn't have spoken like that, but now he had various ways to handle Carlos.
Hearing this, Carlos coldly snorted and walked away.
"Let's continue eating," Tony said to everyone.
"Tony, you shouldn't have said that. Carlos is someone who holds grudges, you should be careful," Anna warned Tony.
Young, hearing Anna's concern, was about to say something, but Tony stopped her, saying, "Young, you don't need to worry. It's just a little squabble."
Looking at Young's lingering worry, Tony added, "I can take down a criminal to save you. Those kids like Carlos are nothing to be afraid of. A single move from me can take down a dozen guys like Carlos."
Hearing this, Young couldn't help but laugh and said, "So what are you? A giant superhero?"
Tony's playful banter brought back a cheerful atmosphere.
"No more jokes, let's go. Anna and I will use the restroom, then we'll head to the cinema."
The two girls left, leaving Tony and Max together.
"Do you need to call Alex? The three of us can give Carlos a lesson," Max suggested.
"What do you think, Max? There's nothing to worry about in this matter," Tony replied.

"What about you and Anna, Max?" Tony brought up Max and Anna's situation to shift Max's focus away from Carlos.

"After spending some time together, both Anna and I felt that we're better off as friends," Max explained.
"Relationships are hard to predict. Like me and Young, it happened too fast, too dangerously. I thought it was a dream."
"Exactly," Max agreed.
After Young and Anna returned from the restroom, the four of them left the Korean barbecue restaurant and headed to the cinema.
The movie Tony and the others watched ended around midnight. Max drove Anna home.
As for Tony, his duty was, of course, to take Young back.
However, Tony drove Young to a secluded spot in the park, where they usually met every early morning.
Tony didn't take Young home immediately, even though it was quite late.
Seeing Tony getting out of the car, Young also opened her door.
