Chapter 52 Stephen
"I-I know I shouldn't be jealous because I like you and you like me, but we're not as good as we are... it's difficult to picture what the two of us are like! It's as if we had a connection in the eyes of others, despite the fact that we don't. I know, just because you like me doesn't mean you won't like anyone else." Other people stare at us as we walk by, but I don't mind.
"Alyana—"
"Just tell me now, Stephen, if you have any intentions of having a relationship with me. If you have a plan for us, I'd like to know what it is because you are always present in my dreams when I think about my future! I only wish you were like that, that we were on the same page. Yes, I'll acknowledge that we don't have much in life, and I have nothing else to offer you but to love me and my body." My tears haven't stopped flowing.
"Tell me if I should expect anything from you, Stephen, tell me if I should expect anything from you—"
"I'm in love with you!"
"I don't say "I love you" to women who aren't significant in my life; I can only say it to my mother, Nanny Daley, and the girl I used to love, and of course to you. I adore you, Alyana, and it's not a joke... Alyana, you have a special place in my heart."
He drew nearer to me and took my hand in his. "Like you, I'm daydreaming about you and planning my future with you... I'm just afraid to love again since I was injured before, and it's difficult for me to trust, but when I saw you and met you, you proved that not all women are alike "You're the only one who stands out from the crowd. I can't help but stare at your face when you fall asleep; I just want to see you as soon as I fall asleep and as soon as I wake up."
"Alyana I know I'm not a perfect man, yet you still like me despite the fact that I'm a f**kboy. Alyana is capable of..."
"Would you like to be my girlfriend?"
Girlfriend? Is he just looking for a female friend? He went on to say a lot more, but all he really wanted was for me to be his friend. What he said to me appears to hurt even more than what I observed.
"Yes, I see your point. I'll just accept the fact that we're just friends, even if it hurts—"
"What?? Friend?"
"You did say girlfriend, didn't you?" I wiped the tears from my eyes right away.
"Do you want to be my girlfriend?"
"I said yes, even if I'm terribly sick, I'm willing to be your friend! Why do you keep insisting that you really want to hurt me?!!" It hit him across the face.
"Can you be my girl, in other words? Alyana is a female friend, not a girlfriend."
I rubbed my temples. "G-Girlfriend? You mean you want us to be y-you want us to be y-you want us to be y-you want us What do you mean by that?" Is he joking, or what? Is any of this something he's serious about?
"Are you going to answer me or not—" I didn't complete my sentence because I hugged him right away. "Sure! I'm interested in being your girlfriend." I felt him hugging me as well.
"Alyana, I adore you."
"I adore you as well, Stephen." He slid out of the hug and brushed his hand across my cheek. As he drew his face closer to mine, I closed my eyes.
Stefanie was still standing there when I turned my glance to her. I drew nearer to her and gave her a heavy slap.
"Ouch! What were you thinking when you slapped me?!"
"Boyfriend, don't ever come near my BOYFRIEND again! Please don't bring a male friend!"
"Boyfriend? Tsk, I suppose you forgot about Alyana, the f**kboy—" I slapped her across the face once again.
"Don't refer to him as a f**kboy bitch! I don't care if he's a f**kboy; all I care about is that you don't flirt with him!" I turned away from her, and Stephen was in front of me, smiling.
"Don't get too near to me; it'll make my girlfriend furious."
"Does that woman happen to be your girlfriend?" Stefanie had inquired.
I just gave Stephen a quick glance and drove away; when I arrived, I got in the car.
"Oh, what's the issue?" says the narrator. He requested a ride in the automobile.
"Are you still going about your business?" Perhaps I'm his girlfriend, and he'll continue to do what he used to do, such as having one-night stands with women or kissing.
"What do you mean?" says the narrator. He inquired, perplexed.
"Nevermind." I was just leaning against the window when I felt him approach me to put on my seatbelt, and as he did so, he gave me a glance. Because its face is so near to mine, I can barely breathe.
"Do you think I'll go out with another woman or do you believe I'll have s*x?" I didn't respond; instead, I remained silent.
"I'm not going to change Alyana like that. I'm now your boyfriend, and you're my only girl... for the time being." I locked my gaze on him.
"It was only a joke. If you notice a woman approaching me, you must fight her right now or you will be tweaked."
I bit my lower lip and stared him down. "Is... Is it serious now that we've made it official? So, I'm allowed to be envious?
"Of course, then I'm justified in being envious of males who approach you." I couldn't stop grinning.
I kissed him on the cheek and said, "I love you."
"Was it just a cheek?" I giggled and kissed him on the lips as he frowned.
We returned home because I was hungry, and it was nearly midnight.
"Is there anything to eat there, Nanny Daley?" Nanny was the one who asked Stephen.
"Yes, I just finished cooking," she says. Stephen was the one who sat me in the chair initially.
I began eating and glanced to Stephen since he seemed to be staring at me.
"Are you still hungry?" I ate the dish again after he just shook his head.
I was about to get up to fetch some water when he stopped me. "I'll track you down." When he returned, he brought a cold glass of water, which I would have accepted if he hadn't refused it.
"Is it for you or for me?" I inquired, perplexed, thinking he had even stood up to fetch me some water.
"I'll get you something to drink." He mumbled something and handed me the glass, which I drank and... "Stephen, my clothing is soaked." I gave him a serious look, as if he had purposefully wet my clothes.
"Eh, just take a bath in my room." I took a long, hard look at him. Not even an apology? He meant what he said.
"You meant it," I said.
"Luh, no ah!" He exclaims.
"When you're lying, Stephen, you're also quite obvious."
"Oh, what happened to you?"
"I just gave Alyana a bath, Nanny Daley, because she stinks." Smelling? Me? I take a whiff of myself... I don't stink!
I then sniffed my armpit and frowned slightly, realizing that I can smell my armpits.
"You're so insane, Alyana, get dressed in your room first."
"All right, man," I said. I leapt to my feet and dashed into my room. It's embarrassing that I was standing next to Stephen earlier; he must have smelled it... this is most likely what he meant when he said "stinky."
I'm pulling my hair out, Alyana! You're so embarrassing!
"What's going on with you?" I was taken aback when I heard his voice from behind me.
I pretended to laugh. "No, I just scratched my head," she says.
"Do you want me to scratch?"
"Crazy."
"What?"
"A-Ah, I said there would be no more scratching. They claimed to have given up."
"Surrender? Who?"
"It's the lice." He laughed and was about to approach me when I raised my hand to stop him. I then covered my armpit with my hand to keep the stench from flying towards him.
"I'm simply going to take a shower while you go outside and get dressed." To get rid of the stench, I'll have to take a bath.
"Why are you covering it up? I've smelt it before and it doesn't stink... pfft, it's just a tiny amount," she says.
I just hid my face behind my hands. "Why didn't you tell me, Stephen?"
"What are you, that's okay, that stench isn't deadly. Look, oh, I'm still alive," he said, a teasing tone in his voice.
"Please leave." Please.
I smacked his arm and said, "OK, I'll just wait for you in the room, I'll get dressed first since I can smell my armpits too, I suppose I'm infected to you."
When he exited the room, I exhaled a sigh of relief. I undressed and would have removed my bra if I had noticed that someone was staring at me, so I went to the door and saw Stephen peering through.
"Stephen!" he grumbled as he closed the door slowly. I simply locked the door to prevent him from peering in or entering.
I went to the bathroom after removing all of my clothes.
"He still has a frown tsk, he thought he was cute?" I chuckled as I remembered his expression. Yes, he's adorable!
"Ayys, what's this?" I can't help but be overjoyed by my official memorable girlfriend. I joined in since it looked like a lot of fun.
When I slipped, I moaned, "Aww!" Ain't no pain, ain't no pain... I gently rose to my feet and began soaping.
As I peered down, my eyes widened. "Oh my god! W-why is there blood?" I clenched my fists and pondered.
It's menstruation season once more! Is it okay if I keep a pad in my bag?
I hurriedly showered and searched my luggage for a pad.
"Thank you, and there's one more left." I'll just go out tomorrow and get something similar so I can use it.
I exited the room and walked to the kitchen, where I noticed Nanny Daley drinking water.
"You smell better than before, Alyana," Nanny murmured, as if water had been spilled on me and I couldn't move from where I was standing.
"A-Ahh... you can smell it too, Nanny Daley, I didn't realize I smelled my armpits," she says.
"It's okay, ija, I had that experience as well. My armpits also smelled when we first dated when I was married, and I even accused other people of smelling their armpits before discovering that I was the one who stinks. My husband laughed so hard that I almost divorced him out of embarrassment," Nanny exclaimed excitedly.
I'll inquire, "Is she in the province, Nanny Daley?"
"My sister is older than me, but she died earlier," I said, biting my lower lip. I shouldn't have asked.
"I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-
"It's okay," she said as his phone rang, and she instantly answered whoever was on the other end of the line.
"Did you get called, grandson? Did you miss me? I miss you too."
For a little minute, Nanny had me perplexed. Because my mom and I are new here and my father's parents have died away, I haven't had the experience of having a grandma or grandfather, mom? Mom didn't tell me anything about her parents, as I already stated. It's lovely having Grandma and Grandpa around.
I sipped some water from a glass. "All right, Nanny," I replied softly, and she merely smiled back.
Make your way into Stephen's chamber.
"Ay, Oh God!" I exclaimed as I turned around and hid my face behind my hands.
Did he say he'd put on some clothes? Why isn't there a cover for this? Stephen, you've got me tricked.
I gasped, "W-Why are you nude! Get dressed!" Because he was still naked and laying on the bed, it felt as if my cheek became hot. This guy, Hays, is completely insane!
Someone grabbed my shoulder, and my hair stood on end as a result. "Did you forget what we talked about? When I'm healthy, I'll—" I cut him off before he could continue his sentence.
"Keep your voice low so Nanny Daley doesn't hear you," I whispered as I turned to face him, but instantly turned away.
"What if she overhears---"
"I can't since I have menstruation right now."
"Stephen, please stop," I replied quietly, feeling like he was putting his hand inside my t-shirt.
"I'm just checking in to see if they're all right because we haven't seen each other in a long time and I haven't touched them in a long time," you say.
I put my hand over my mouth to keep from laughing out loud. "I-I'm tickled to death!" Because one of his hands is on my waist, tickling me is easy.
He asked innocently, "Oh, I'm not tickling you?" It was I who took his hand away from my waist.
"Then I'll be able to relax."
"Are you tickled here?" I asked, swallowing one after the other because he appeared to be tickling me.
"S-Stephen d-don't do that-- pfft hahaha! W-What! Stop it!" he continued tickling me, and I just stopped because I felt my blood pressure rise abruptly...
I stopped giggling when he stopped tickling me hard. "Are you all right?"
"Don't tickle me, Stephen; when I move too much, my blood gets stronger."
"May I see," he said as he was ready to get up, but I yanked him back down onto the bed.
"Are you insane?" I asked, frowning.
"I'll just watch," he said, covering his mouth to avoid smiling.
"Are you able to just sleep there?"
"Please look for a moment?" he said, his index finger still raised and his eyes blinking.
"Don't wait for me to become enraged." I'm serious, you're not good at making cute!
"Hehe, don't be mad, baby," he replied, laughing, before hugging and kissing me on the lips.
The next day, when i opened my eyes, i was stunned to find stephen looking at me.
I rolled my eyes and took a long, hard look at him. "Are you still awake?" I inquired, but it remained silent.
He just remarked, "Let's eat downstairs, Nanny Daley has already cooked," and walked out of the room.
"Stephen, whose room is upstairs?" "I simply have a question."
"Guest room," she says, "that's what I let mommy and daddy use when they come here." Do her parents sleep separately? They've been apart for a long time, of course.
"Xenon told me you were only a child when your parents divorced."
"Yes, their mothers and fathers simply decided to marry them; they do not love each other. I am 11 years old.
They had their own families when they divorced, but they did not abandon me; even if they didn't want me to be formed, I never felt they didn't love me."
I despise Stephen because, despite having their own families, he did not engender animosity in his parents.
"Come on, let's eat," we said as we sat on seats and prayed.Download Novelah App
