Javier's heart skipped a beat as the door to his law school classroom opened and a woman who looked like Andrea walked in. She had the same long, flowing hair, the same sparkling eyes, and the same radiant smile. But there was something else about her, something that made her even more beautiful than Andrea. Javier couldn't take his eyes off of her. She was like a vision, a goddess descended from heaven. He felt his cheeks flush and his heart race. He had never seen anyone so beautiful in his life. Javier's lips parted to call the woman's name, but his voice caught in his throat. Professor Smith had entered the room, and the class was about to begin. Javier couldn't focus on the lecture. His mind was racing with thoughts of the woman who looked like Andrea. Could she be his ex-girlfriend? He glanced at her again. She was sitting perfectly still, her eyes fixed on Professor Smith. Her face was serene and expressionless. But Javier could see it in her eyes: a flicker of recognition. Javier's heart pounded in his chest. Was it possible? Could Andrea really be here, in the same room with him? He wanted to get up and walk over to her, to ask her if she was real. But he knew that he couldn't. Not in front of the entire class. So he sat there, fidgeting in his seat, his mind ablaze with questions and possibilities. The class ended. Javier's heart pounded in his chest as he ran after the woman. He had to talk to her. He had to know if she was really Andrea. He caught up to her in the hallway and grabbed her arm. "Andrea," he said, his voice breathless. The woman turned to face him, her eyes wide with surprise. "Do I know you?" she asked. Javier stared at her, his heart pounding in his chest. She looked so much like Andrea. The same dark hair, the same sparkling eyes, the same slender build. But there was something different about her. Something he couldn't quite put his finger on. "I'm Javier," he said finally. "We used to date." The woman's eyes widened even further. "Andrea's ex-boyfriend?" she asked. Javier nodded. "Yes." The woman shook her head. "I'm sorry," she said. "But I'm not Andrea. My name is Alexandrea." Javier's heart sank. He had been so sure that she was Andrea. But now he knew that he was wrong. "Alexandrea?" he repeated. "Are you saying that you're Andrea's twin sister?" Alexandrea nodded. "Yes. We were separated at birth. I didn't know I had a sister until last year." Javier was stunned. He couldn't believe it. He had just met Andrea's twin sister. "I'm so sorry for calling you Andrea earlier," he said. "I was just so surprised to see you. You look so much like her." Alexandrea smiled. "It's okay," she said. "I get that a lot." Javier hesitated for a moment, then asked, "Can I ask you a question?" Alexandrea nodded. "Sure." "Do you know why Andrea left RM Senior High?" Javier asked. Alexandrea’s smile faded. "No," she said. "She never told me." Javier frowned. He had been hoping that Alexandrea could shed some light on Andrea's disappearance. But it seemed like she didn't know anything more than he did. "Well, it was nice meeting you, Alexandrea," Javier said. "I have to go now, but maybe we can talk again sometime." Alexandrea nodded. "Sure," she said. "It would be nice to get to know you better." Javier smiled. "I'd like that." He turned and walked away, his mind racing. He had met Andrea's twin sister. And he had learned that Andrea had left RM Senior High for reasons that no one knew about. Javier was determined to find out more. He had to know why Andrea had left. And he had to know if there was any chance of them getting back together. Javier's mind was a whirlwind of thoughts as he walked to his condo. He had just met Andrea's twin sister, and he was still reeling from the shock of it all. He couldn't believe that he had gone so long without knowing about Alexandrea. He felt like he had been living in a lie. And the fact that Alexandrea didn't know why Andrea had left RM Senior High made it all the more confusing. It was like there was a whole side of Andrea's life that he had never known about. Javier sighed as he unlocked the door to his condo. He needed some time to process all of this. He went inside and closed the door behind him. Then he leaned against the door and took a deep breath. He didn't know what to do next. But he knew one thing for sure: he couldn't ignore this any longer. He had to find out the truth about Andrea. Javier's mind raced as he thought about Andrea. She was in New York now, studying medicine. Maybe she didn't want to be with him anymore. He felt like his heart was being ripped out of his chest. He couldn't imagine his life without Andrea. She was the love of his life. But he knew that he had to respect her decision. If she didn't want to be with him, then he had to let her go. But even as he told himself this, he couldn't help but hope that things would change. He hoped that one day, Andrea would realize that she loved him too. Javier gazed at his phone, the device that had once connected him to Andrea as Reiv. He remembered all the late-night conversations they'd had, sharing their deepest secrets and dreams. Now, his phone felt like a cold and empty vessel, a relic of a love that was lost. He picked it up and stared at the screen, as if willing it to reveal something new. But it was just the same old screen, with the same old apps. Javier sighed and put the phone down. He knew that he couldn't keep dwelling on the past. He had to move on. But even as he told himself this, he couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. He missed Andrea terribly. Javier's mind was a tangled web of thoughts, and he knew he needed to talk to Alexandrea tomorrow. He had to find out more about Andrea, and he hoped that Alexandrea could provide some answers. He imagined himself sitting across from Alexandrea, her eyes sparkling with intelligence and compassion. He would ask her about Andrea's childhood, her dreams, and her fears. He would ask her why Andrea had left RM Senior High, and if she knew why they had never gotten back together. Javier knew that Alexandrea might not be able to answer all of his questions. But he hoped that she could at least give him a better understanding of the woman he had loved and lost.
