CAMP MATRIX.
"Can we go already, am very hungry" Mariam responded and Jeffrey lifted to his arms.
"Of course we will be on our way little one" Jeffery said with smirk and just looking up he met Matrix standing besides them.
"Baby girl...? you are hungry right?" Matrix asked as those guys stares badly at him and the girl nodded.
"Hey, don't mind him he don't even know your favourite, you still want to eat your favourite right?" Jeffery asked while Matrix was looking at them hiding his hands behind his back.
Then Mariam stares at him "Yeah he doesn't know my favourite but I think I am smelling it"
"Excuse me sir, what is it that you are hiding behind your back?" Mariam asked referring to Matrix.
Then Matrix displayed his hands which he was hiding at his back and it was a plate of full chicken that is well garnished and yummy looks.
"Wow..." Mariam said as she turns her gaze at Jeffery.
"Well, thank you gentlemen but I think I got what I needed besides I have to eat first either my favorites or not" Mariam said as she tried to approach Matrix but turned again and looks at those guys.
"Do you know why? because it is only the living that has favourite, you see?" Mariam said and walked to Matrix and without hesitating he handed over the plate to her. 
"Carry it with care" He said and Mariam collected the plat from him.
"Over there, go sit on my table and wait for me" Matrix said and Mariam did not hesitate to do as he said.
When she left Matrix wanted to join her but one of those guys grabbed his legs.
"I thought you said that you don't want to involve yourself in any form of war?" The man said as Matrix nods.
"Then why interrupt in what does not concern you?" Jeffery asked while Matrix give them full concentration and took in a deep breath with his hands placed behind his back.
"Well, the girl was hungry and she needed food and instead of you to give her you wants to take her home?"
"Why not buy for her if you truly you wants to help her? imagine as little as she is, she came to you begging for food and you tell her to wait till you take her home? someone that is hungry?" Matrix asked.
"Yes? she was requesting for her favourite" Jeffery replied as Matrix chuckles.
"Ah... no! you guys suggested it for her instead of giving her food and beside I have everything here so why don't you just pay for her and you want to take her home?" Matrix asked and they were all silent no one was able to talk. 
Instead they keep gazing at Matrix and Matrix shrugged his shoulders.
"It's clear that you don't want to help her but you want something else from her? but don't worry she has eaten already" Matrix concluded and left to join Mariam.
Getting there Mariam has already eaten halve part of the chicken proving how hungry she could be so Matrix stood at the side watching her till she noticed his present.
"Umm... sorry for that" Mariam said as she slowly raised her had which was all focused inside the plate and her hand was full of chicken recipe.
"It's okay, you can continue eating" Matrix said as Mariam nodded at him.
"Thank you..." Mariam said as Matrix smiles at her and she continues with her meal.
"How long have you been starving?" Matrix asked while Mariam paused from eating and looks at him.
"As long as you could never imagine" Mariam responded while Matrix gazes at her with a contempt facial expression.
"Sounds crazy right? I have been wandering around the streets, I came across dangerous things but I believe it's fate that lead me through, or else I could have been dead by now" Mariam added as she picks up her chicken and continues chewing.
Matrix waves his head in pity as he was so surprised why a little girl of her age should be wandering around the streets alone.
If she is too old and she has to be 7yrs of age then what could she be doing at the street alone.
"So... what were you wandering at the streets for? where is your mother? or can I just say that you are an orphan" Matrix said as Mariam paused from eating.
She kept her chicken and gazes seriously at Matrix looking so unhappy.
"Am sorry about that" Matrix said while Mariam waves her head. 
"No, you shouldn't be because you are right, there is no mother that would allow her daughter to wander the streets of the Darklands alone or not"
"It's not safe out there" Mariam said as she washes her hand and drank some water.
"So... are you trying to tell me that your parents is dead? what's your name girl?" Matrix asked.
"My name is Mariam, yes my parents is dead but I have a sister, we got separated and I have been looking for her please can you help me find her"
"We were formal Mistress Amelia's girls" Mariam said as Matrix folds his arms and looks closer to her.
"And what's the name of your sister?" Matrix asked.
"Jade... the name of my sister is Jade" Mariam responded.
"But I haven't heard about that name before and you said she worked for Amelia?" Matrix asked while Mariam nodded at him.
"Yeah she worked for her but as her formal daughter, I know you will not be able to recognize us because many don't"
"And that's Amelia for you she's never ready to introduce us to the public as her daughters but she's always ready to introduce her real blood" Mariam said while Matrix raises his eyebrows and sighed.
"What happened then? how did you end up at the street and how did you end up looking for your sister?" Matrix asked while Mariam scratched her hair looking so frustrated to answer the question.
"Umm... she had a little disagreement with my sister and she killed my mother, then she cast my sister into the street to look for David..." Mariam was still saying and Matrix interrupted.
"David...? is it not the popular son of Zara?" Matrix asked as Mariam spreads her hands and shrugged her shoulders.
"I don't know, I'm only telling you the things I heard in their discussion and not the things I don't know" Mariam responded and Matrix nodded at her.
"So, before sending my sister away they were threatening to kill me but actually they freed me and never oppress me but I was too scared to be alone without my sister, I have to come look for her" Mariam said.
"And you forgot that it is danger..." Matrix was still saying and Mariam interrupted.
"Of course I know, I know that it is dangerous but please I have to find her I don't know if you can help me...? please?" Mariam said while Matrix looks up.
He has always promised himself to stay out of trouble and making a promise to this little girl is involving himself in a war which he has been running from.
But besides? for how long is he going to run for it? he has lost so much and still losing because he don't wanna fight.
Darklands is no please for Peace and it is not for the soft hearts any body who seems to be weak will only get demolished by the birds of nights.
So after the long thought in Matrix's mind Mariam was still kindly waiting to hear what he has to say.
Then he looks at her and took in a deep breath "I promise you that I will help you find your sister, you have my word" Matrix said as Mariam smiles.
"Thank you" Mariam said and Matrix nodded at her.
"And don't you think that it will be better I fined Amelia and explain things to her so she can accept you back" Matrix said as Mariam hits her hand on the desk angrily waving her head.
"Nope! that is never an option to me! if you will help me then help me get back to my sister and if it is about going back to Amelia then I will plead for you to allow me find my sister myself" Mariam said while Matrix gazes at her for a while and nodded his head.
"Don't worry girl, I will surely help you get back to your sister but first you have to follow me home and take your bath, change your clothes and so on, you know, it's not an easy task to find her, it will take us some time"
"Will you?" Matrix requested and Mariam nodded at him. "Thank you" She added and then Matrix lifted her to his arms.
Took her to his car and they rides home while those guys was still looking at them.
"Look guys, this is just a kid and I think it will be easier kidnapping her, we just have to track down that car and get her" Jeffery ordered as the others nods and they all embarks on their cars.
They have their cars per person and it was all black in colour and so they rides after Matrix.

PARADISE-REGAINED.
Both Jade and Olivia was done with their bath and they are currently inside a room which was given to Jade by Zara.
The room already has everything that is needed inside, the wardrobe was filled different kinds of beautiful clothes.
Jade and Olivia dressed up and like always Jade is looking so beautiful but Olivia...? the maids are always in their uniforms, they have thousands of it.
They are always in uniform and never to change it and wear something else, not untill Zara give them free hours to flirt and have time for themselves and their personal lives.
"You look so cute" Olivia said to Jade after addressing her up.
"Are you a crossdresser?" Jade asked as Olivia smiled at her.
"No am not, but I am just a woman of many talents but in here what I do is to run errands only" Olivia said and Jade smiled at her.
"You did an amazing job here" Jade acknowledged as Olivia shrugged her shoulders.
"Thank you" She responded. "And it's time for dining..." Olivia said as she opened the door of the room for her and Jade left and just as she was stepping out of the room she saw Favour coming with Zara and Scar besides her.
But she doesn't care who is beside her, what she cares is that she saw Favour, their eyes hits on each other as Jade is already vibrating in anger and Favour paused and began moving backwards.
