Part 44

PART 44.
Hades' POV
I clenched my fist as I realized that the person who wants me dead is the same person I trusted. Despite the love and affection he showed me over the years, I couldn't understand his motives.
"Come on, Hades. Let's get the hell out of here," Tyler said with anger evident in his tone of voice.
I stood up with a closed fist and walked towards the room he had entered. As I was about to open the door, Tyler stopped me.
"Forget it, Hades. We don't have any weapons. Let's think this through. Rushing things never ends well," he said, his voice low but authoritative.
I angrily pulled my arm away from him, making a loud noise as I stepped on something.
"What's that?! Take a look at it, quickly!" It was Uncle Havier's voice from inside the room.
Tyler immediately took my arm and dragged me out of the building. As soon as we were outside, we got into the car.
"Damn it! He's Garaba! How could he do this to us? What are his motives? I should have confronted him earlier if you hadn't stopped me, Tyler!" I glared at him as he drove.
"If you had, you might be a dead man by now. Can't you see? He's the one who wants you dead. If you had confronted him there, it would have been his best chance to end both of us. His men were heavily armed, but we only have our fists. Do you think we stood a chance?" Tyler shouted, still keeping his eyes on the road.
That's when I realized he was right. I shouldn't rush things and needed to think critically about how to settle things with Tito Havier.
"Let's go to your house. I want to see Grandpa," I said, calming down. Tyler nodded and drove towards his home.
As soon as we arrived at Tyler's house, I saw Kyro and rushed over to him, grabbing him by the collar.
"What the hell, Hades? What's going on?" he asked, clearly taken aback by my sudden aggression.
"Answer me. Do you know that Tito Havier is Garaba?" I demanded through gritted teeth, tightening my grip on his collar.
"Garaba? What are you talking about?" he asked, looking genuinely confused. But I refused to let go.
"Don't play dumb. Don't cover for him! You live in the same house, it's impossible that you don't know!" I shouted, choking him by the collar.
"I swear, I have no idea what you're talking about, Hades!" he protested, struggling to break free. I was about to punch him when Tyler intervened and pulled me away from Kyro.
"Stop it, Hades! He obviously doesn't know anything," Tyler said firmly. "We need to stick together and come up with a solid plan to deal with Tito Havier."
Taking a deep breath, I tried to calm myself down. Tyler was right. We needed a plan. "Okay, what do you suggest we do?" I asked, feeling a sense of desperation.
Tyler stepped forward and said, "We start by gathering information about his activities and motives. We need to find out what he's been up to and what his motives are."
Kyro chimed in, "How do you suggest we do that?"
"We can start by talking to people who might have knowledge about his dealings, such as his business partners or associates. I can deal with that." Tyler said.
"Once we had the information," Tyler continued, "We can plan an ambush. We need to choose a location that's favorable to our position and where we can have the element of surprise. We'll also need to acquire weapons to defend ourselves."
"Alright, I can help us get equipment and weapons," Kyro said, and we turned to him with furrowed brows. "I can steal from Tito Havier's room or from his men. It's easier for me to do it than for you guys since I live under the same roof with Tito Havier and the guards that I thought were just security, but turned out to be his men."
"Okay, but please be careful, Kyro," Tyler said as he tapped Kyro's arm.
I nodded. "What about during the ambush? How do we take out Tito Havier and his men?" I asked.
"We need to take them out as quickly and efficiently as possible. We should also be prepared for any unexpected situations that may arise. After the ambush, we should secure any evidence that could be used against Tito Havier and his organization. Then, we can turn it over to the authorities," Tyler responded.
I felt a surge of adrenaline at the thought of confronting Tito Havier. "That sounds like a solid plan. But what if we get caught?"
"We need to be careful and stay focused. We'll have the element of surprise, and we'll be prepared for any situation. We can do this, guys. We just need to work together and stay determined," Tyler said, putting his hand on my shoulder.
"Alright, let's get moving," I said with a determined tone as I turned to face Tyler and Kyro. "We have a plan, and we know our roles. Kyro, you gather the equipment and weapons while Tyler and I collect information from Tito Havier's associates. We'll reconvene in two days to finalize the details of the ambush."
I took a deep breath and felt a surge of energy as I thought about taking down Tito Havier and his organization. This was not going to be an easy task, but I knew that with these two by my side, we could do it.
"Remember, guys, we need to stay focused and vigilant. This is a dangerous mission, and we don't want to get caught," I said, looking at each of them in turn. "Let's do this."
After our conversation, Tyler and I went our separate ways to prepare for our assigned tasks. I felt both excited and nervous as I left - this was an important mission but I was determined to see it through.
Before heading out, I checked in on Grandpa. Still weak and frail, he was sleeping in a bedroom in Tyler's house, cared for by his private nurse. The sight of Grandpa in such a vulnerable state reminded me of my purpose and steeled my resolve. I was doing this for him.
As I set forth, my mind churned with plans, possibilities and uncertainties. Though daunting, the task ahead  also filled me with hope that we could make a real difference through our combined efforts. I knew Tyler felt the same. Whatever challenges lay ahead, we would face them together.

(Another day)
"What's going on? Let go of me!" I heard a familiar loud voice as I entered Tyler's home. I walked towards the room where the noise was coming from and found Angela blindfolded while Tyler and Kyro were tying her arms and feet.
"What's going on? Why is she here?" I asked Kyro and Tyler.
"She's our 'element of surprise'," Kyro replied, emphasizing the phrase.
"Hades, what's happening? Why am I being tied up? Please, Hades, let me go," Angela/Alexandria pleaded. I shook my head and nodded to the two, and they gently wrapped cloth around her mouth.
"Now, let's start putting this plan into action," Tyler said with determination in his voice.
Xyrel's POV
Hades left the house early, so I felt sad when I woke up and found him no longer beside me. I got up and checked on Walter, who was sleeping just a few meters away from our bed. Although he had his own room downstairs, he was still too young to be separated from us, so we bought a small bed for him and placed it near ours. My son was sleeping soundly, and I wrapped his body with a blanket as I kissed his cheek. I tied my hair into a bun and walked out of the room to prepare breakfast.
"What should I cook?" I asked myself as I checked the fridge for food.
"Maybe adobo. It's Walter's favorite," I thought to myself. I took out the hard chicken and placed it in the sink, adding water to soften it. While waiting for the chicken, I sliced garlic, onions, and prepared the other ingredients.
As I happily cooked and hummed along, shaking the chicken that was now on the stove with spices and ingredients, my son Walter entered the kitchen.
"Mommy, that smells so good," Walter said, still rubbing his eyes. I lowered the heat and went to him.
"Good morning, baby. How did you sleep?" I asked him as I lifted him up.
"I had a bad dream, Mommy," he told me with a sad face.
"What did you dream about?" I asked, looking worried.
"Someone was pointing a gun at my head," he told me, placing his hand on his head as tears slowly streamed down his face. I immediately hugged him and rubbed his back to help him calm down.
"Shhh, baby. That was just a bad dream. Mommy chased away that bad dream. Forget about it now, okay?" I told him as I gently patted his head with my left hand while carrying him with my other arm.
Once he had calmed down, I put him in a chair at the dining table.
"Wait here, baby. Mommy just needs to check on the food so we can eat, okay?" I asked him, and he nodded his head gently.
I walked toward the kitchen and turned off the stove. I prepared the food on a plate and placed it on the dining table where I had left Walter earlier.
As we were about to eat, the doorbell rang. I went outside and opened the gate to see who it was. When I opened it, I saw Tito Havier standing outside.
"Good morning, Tito Havier," I said with a smile, and he replied with a smile as well.
"I heard you were back in the Philippines but didn't get a chance to visit. Can I come in?" he asked, gesturing to the gate. I jumped slightly, feeling embarrassed that I hadn't offered him to come in earlier.
"I'm sorry, Tito," I said and opened the gate for him. "Come on in. Let's have breakfast." He nodded and followed me inside the house. I closed the gate and led him to the dining area where my son was eating.
"Welcome back, Mommy," my son greeted me with a smile.
"Hello," Tito Havier greeted my son and then turned to me. "What's his name?"
"Walter Nate, Tito," I replied with a smile. He nodded and then turned back to Walter, walking over to sit beside him.
"Hi, Walter. I'm your granduncle," Tito Havier introduced himself and sat beside Walter.
"Granduncle?" my son asked with excitement on his face.
"Yes. Now finish up your food," Tito Havier told him and offered to feed him, which my son happily accepted.
"I want to spend time with you guys. Will you come with me to a park?" Tito Havier offered with a smile. I hesitated for a moment because I still had a lot to do in the house, but since this was Tito Havier's first visit, I agreed.
"Sure, Tito. That sounds like a great idea," I said with a smile. "Let me just finish up a few things, and then we can go."
"Take your time. I'll wait," Tito Havier said as he sat down on the couch and watched Walter playing with his toys.
I quickly finished up the dishes and put away the leftovers from breakfast. Then, I went to my room to change into something more comfortable for the park. Once I was ready, I grabbed Walter's jacket and put it on him since it was a bit chilly outside.
"Ready to go, Walter?" I asked him, and he nodded his head excitedly.
"Let's go, Mommy!" he said as he ran to the door.
I grabbed my bag and keys and led the way out of the house. As we walked to the park, Tito Havier and I caught up on each other's lives, and he shared stories about his travels and experiences.
Once we arrived at the park, Walter ran off to play on the swings and slides while Tito Havier and I found a bench to sit on and chat some more. It was a beautiful day, and the park was filled with families and children playing.
As we sat and talked, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this unexpected visit from Tito Havier. It was a reminder to appreciate the little moments and take time out of our busy lives to spend time with loved ones.
Hades' POV
We were in a location that Tyler had found to be advantageous for us. The three of us were armed with guns and equipment that Kyro had managed to steal from Tito Havier's bedroom and his men. We were waiting for his arrival, and I was sitting in a rusty chair with a gun hidden in my left boot. When I heard the sound of a car approaching, I stood up and pressed the small device on my wrist to signal to the others that Havier had arrived.
"Hi, Hades. So, what is all this about? Why are we meeting in this dilapidated building?" Havier asked as he entered.
"Let's be honest, Tito Havier," I said with a hint of frustration in my voice. "I already know that you are Garaba."
"What makes you say that?" He replied defensively.
I let out a deep sigh, "We tailed you yesterday, and found out that you have men who are heavily armed, and they called you Garaba."
He laughed, echoing in the entire building; making him look like a crazy man. "Why, Tito Havier? I thought we were family? Why were you doing it? Why do you want me dead?"
He looked at me with a serious expression and he stopped laughing, "Are you seriously asking that now?"
I nodded and waited for his response as I secretly pressed the recording in my small device in my wrist. "You have to ask your Grandfather yourself!" He shouted. I furrowed my brow, having difficulty in understanding what he meant.
"It's your wonderful grandfather, he's the reason why I ended up like this!" He shouted and threw things up. "He should have just thrown me into an orphanage instead of adopting me, yet he treated me like a complete outsider!"
"Tito Havier, calm down," I tried to calm him down, but he just glared at me and grabbed me by my collar.
"You should die! All of you!" he angrily shouted while tightening his grip on my collar.
"Stop that, Tito Havier." Tyler and Kyro got out of the hidden place they hid and took Alexandria with them, holding a gun to her head.
"You better surrender yourself to the authorities now. They will be here in a few minutes," Kyro said, and pulled Tito Havier away from me. Tito Havier just smirked.
"Do you think I'm just pathetic? Well, think again." As he said that, his men came out from outside and they also had a hostage.
"Hades." Xyrel cried out.
"Daddy!" My son shouted when he saw me.
