Heaven's Point of View
"You once again intervene in my life and I feel a lot about that!" I said once I threw myself in his arms. All I could do was sob to release all the feelings that I had. He didn't even bring that up to me so I don't know how to feel for him.
"I'm sorry, I missed a lot of opportunities to tell you when you got here. I was always scared because you might still be mad at me. I'm going to tell you that when I drove to your home but you cut me" He explains.
So I was the one that's wronged here. I acknowledge that point and I badly want to know his side of the story now. I calmed myself down so we can really talk about this. I stare at him and feel really terrible.
"Why didn't you say it beforehand? You should've told me your plan" I said when I was now calmed down.
"I'm still planning it when that happens. I shouldn't fight when I know that I have no power. When I take over this company, I started suing my brother for you but I make a deal with him first that he won't ruin your life anymore if I would break-up with you" He explains things. That's why.
"That's why. I felt pathetic now that I know I said harsh things to you" I said and he just chuckled.
It's true though. I felt really pathetic and embarrassed by the fact that I got mad at him for leaving me hanging. For making me feel love and let go afterwards. I should trust and wait for him in the first place.
"It's in the past now, Heaven. I'm still thankful that you still don't have someone in your heart that can replace me. You want to know a secret behind that offer to get into this company?" He said in a low voice.
"What's the secret?" I also said in a low voice, almost like a whisper. He gestured to me to sit at my table to let me rest for a while.
"That email where the offer was taken was written by me. All the offer was my choice so that you could enter this premises and I could finally get a chance to hug you and kiss you like before. I long for this time where I can love you again, "he explains. I was flustered by that so I hit him and lowered down my gaze.
But he held my chin to meet his gaze. I stare at his lips at it looks tempting right now. It wanted to be kissed. I suddenly close my eyes and cherish the kiss. I want it to be longer but then the elevator bell sound indicating that someone in the team was now here.
I got afraid that they would know so I pushed Lawrence and move away from him. The person that enter our workplace was our senior so she was surprised when she saw me and Lawrence being in here.
"Oh my god, Sir Lawrence, why are you here in this place? Do we fail to submit the paperwork? I must've forgot something that makes you here?! Oh my god, I'm so sorry Sir Lawrence. I really do" Our senior apologies.
"It's okay, I just want to wander around the company and let my employees be good and fine in the company. I want them to be comfortable so I keep checking at them so don't worry you didn't do anything, "he said. I saw our senior sighed in relief.
Lawrence finally excused himself when my other co-workers arrived at the place. I keep looking down in embarrassment. I feel like I'm hiding something in here that everyone doesn't need to know.
Our senior finally got our workloads and we started right away. But because of what's happening right now, my brain is now wandering around other places. Lunch break came and Lawrence's secretary went down to our place to tell me that the CEO wants to talk with me about the urgent stuff.
I was nervously glance at them as they were all seriously glancing at me. We went to the elevator and the secretary pressed the basement floor before the floor of the CEO. She told me that she won't go with me to the CEO's office as she also had to go somewhere.
I was alone now in the elevator going up to the CEO's office. The atmosphere there would be suffocating as I was hardly breathing on what I'm just thinking. The elevator door open indicating that I'm now here. I step out and find Lawrence waiting for me in the waiting line made for people who want to talk to the CEO.
He kissed me right away when he saw me. I was flustered but responded immediately with a kiss. We look like hungry people who's hungry with the taste of each other. The next thing I knew when I woke up was that I didn't finish my workload and I'm here at his personal bed, naked.
"Hi, you're now awake my baby" He said as he kept stroking my hair. I blushed when I remember what happened clearly. This clearly shows how long we missed each others feelings.
"You're really annoying!" That's what I just said when I don't know what to say anymore.
"I know but you for sure love me" He said and grins. I hit him in the chest but he just get that and locked it up placing it at the top of my head.
"Say how much you love me or I would show how much I love you again" He said in a husky voice making me gulp my own saliva. That was for sure sexy!
"I love you, I always do!" I said immediately I was scared of us doing it again. He grins and kiss my forehead letting my hand go.
"I love you too and would always do" He said and checked his phone. He was just as surprised as me when it was now midnight and there's no more people or even a security guard in the company.
"Let me get you home now" He said and started dressing. I stood up but as soon as I stood up completely, my whole body shook and gave up. So he was the one who dressed me up and gave me a teasing look.
We got to the elevator and went to his car. There's no more valet service for him so we really need to go to the basement. I was just silent throughout the whole ride and wanted to eat something.
"Can you drive thru in a fast food chain? I didn't get my dinner nor my lunch because of you" I said and gave him a glare. He just gave me a peace sign and drove through the nearest fast food chain that he can see.
He ordered a lot of food. I think that he ordered half of the menu. Just by looking at it would make me want to taste it. So when all of the food was delivered to us, I started eating. We even stays there just to eat those foods.
After eating, he started to drive me home and bid his goodbyes. He wants to take me to his home but I said that my sister was in my apartment so he had no choice but to get me home safely.
"I saw that, huh" I was surprised to see Alona standing in the hallway in front of my apartment. I act innocent even if I was caught in the act. It was his fault to kiss me before leaving.
"It was just because he was generous enough to drive me home since I just finished my shift" I make an alibi. I won't reveal the truth to her immediately. I don't even want her to know it.
"Oh, so he was also generous to give you a kiss and you're also generous not to fight back at him, huh?" She continued teasing me. I just gave up on her as I don't know what alibi would come after that.
"Okay, we're now back together. He explains his side and informs me about things that's in the past. It makes me horrible but at least he forgives me. That's just it" I emphasise at the end.
"So you're now the CEO's wife. Oh, I'm so proud of you, my sister Heaven you would for sure inherit a lot of money" She said. But I don't think that would make me proud and that's my plan.
"I'm not going to inherit his money because I would make mine. I don't get back together with him because of his money. I don't want people to acknowledge that to me instead of the other things so I'm still going to strive for my own success" I explained.
I don't really want to rely on him now that we got back together. I want to still create my own success too and that would be the greatest accomplishment that I would have in my life.
