Chapter 70 - End.

*Cassandra's Point of View*
---
As I am crying and staring at my best friend's dead body, I felt something that has been building up around me. It's Blair's force field.
I looked in her direction, and she's all on fire. Then, her opponent's arm that has been holding her started to fade. And later on, everything around her turned to ashes.
I tried to escape from her force field, but I couldn't. It's too strong.
"Claude!!! Stop!!!!" I heard Aunt Claudia's scream while she's also struggling to be free from the force field that Blair created around every witch.
I could feel that Blair is up to something. And, it's not gonna be good for her or us.
I covered my eyes with my arm when a very bright light beams from her.
Then, I opened my eyes to look around, but all I could see was nothing. It's dark, and the rain is over. And I tried to feel the force field, but it's gone.
Some lights were made by every witch around. And I also created mine that made me see Pryce's body in front of me.
"No!! Claude! Please, wake up!" I heard the queen's cry, and I don't want to think that something terrible has happened to my cousin.
Then, I heard a werewolf's howl, which made the moon clear from the dark clouds. It's Al. She's the only werewolf that is left.
A gasp escaped from my mouth as I can clearly see the surroundings now. Everything was gone. The grass, the trees, even the lake was dry. All that was left were the house and us. What happened?
And, I felt my heart beat faster as my mate carried Blair in her arms, while the queen was following behind as she cried her eyes out.
They went near us, and she laid Blair's body beside Pryce's.
I looked at my cousin and saw that she is covered with blood while there's a big wound on her chest. It must be from Damien's claws. That bastard did this to her.
Then, I slowly lifted my head to look at Al, and she shook her head.
"No, it's not true," I uttered, and tears slowly ran down my cheeks again.
"No, no, no! Not her, too! Please, tell me that she's alive!" I continued crying, and something warm embraced me.
I screamed and cried in her arms, making her white fur wet with my tears. Then, she howled sadly.
I can’t understand why this is happening. This is too much. Why? Why does it have to happen?
Maybe the seer is right. If Pryce dies, Blair loses control and hurts everyone she loves. And, it is happening now.
"What happened, Claudia?" Someone asked, and his voice is unfamiliar to me.
I looked at the person who spoke, and I could feel that he was a vampire.
"She's gone... Again." The queen stated coldly while tears were streaming down her cheek.
The man let out a deep sigh and put her in his embrace. He might be King Draco of the vampires.
"I felt something powerful that woke me up from my slumber. Is she our daughter?" He mentioned as he stared at my cousin's body on the ground.
And, I was right. It's Blair's father. He has risen because Blair died.

I looked at a picture on our nightstand as I folded the sheets that I am going to wash. It has been a very long time since this was taken by a friend of ours, Marvy Jennings.
Pryce looked so happy in here, while Blair offered a hand for her to hold. I just missed them so much. There is not a day that passes that I cannot remember them. They have been the greatest people that I ever met. And in this time, they have become a legend.
Thirty years ago, we buried them at a portion near Blair's house in which every morning the queen visits. That day has sent so much loneliness to everyone close to them, both humans and supernatural.
After that incident, Alison ended up ruling the race of the werewolves. Even if she doesn't want to, she has no choice since she's the princess and the strongest among them all.
We got married twenty years ago, and now, we have two kids. Carson is a twelve-year-old girl, and Allan is a seven-year-old boy. Both of them are half-werewolf and half-witch.
I wonder if Blair and Pryce lived, would they have children too? I bet they will have twins, and I should be their fairy godmother. No, witch godmother. And I will be the one to name them. Ugh, I just... These tears are showing up unnoticed again.
Aunt Claudia became colder, while King Draco of the vampires often visits her.
Everything is at peace, and life has to go on. But one thing that will never change, Blair and Pryce will always be in our hearts and memories.
"Hey, what are you thinking?" Al asked as she hugged me from behind.
She has been an excellent leader, a very sweet and loving wife, and a caring mother. I could not ask for more.
"Mmm, just something," I replied, and she hugged me tighter while kissing my head.
"I missed them too." She uttered, and I turned to face her.
She still looks the same as the first time we met. Her hair is still white, with her eyes as blue as the sky. And, they have the same color as my best friend's.
I just smiled at her since I don't want to remember it again, and I don't want to cry again. Even if I already did a while ago.
---
As my wife helped me with changing the bedsheets, we heard some commotions from downstairs.
"Mommy, Mama!!!"
It is Allan who screamed from the kitchen downstairs. What could have happened this time?
We were startled and hurriedly ran down. He must've been doing something crazy again, like how he made the living room flooded with water from the bathroom two weeks ago.
We came into the kitchen, and the scared boy hurried and hid behind his Mama.
"What is it, Allan?" I asked him since he looks so frightened.
Then, I looked at Al, and she must've sensed something.
"There... Umm... They... Someone… Two… " He stuttered and could not complete his sentence.
"Alright, calm down, Al. Breathe in and breathe out." Al comforted the scared child, and he seemed calm now.
"They... stole… They stole... our… apples." He trembled, and that made me curious.
Who might steal apples from the fridge? His sister? Burglars?
"Mom?"
Then, we heard Carson calling from the living room.
"What is it, Hon?" I answered her while Al was trying to find some explanations from our son.
"Who are these people watching TV while eating apples on our couch?" She asked, and that made me more curious.
We went to the living room, and my mouth dropped because of what I was seeing before me.
"Blair? Pryce?" I uttered in disbelief, and I gasped.
Are they real? Or am I dreaming?
I just cannot believe my eyes.
