"Julien, why are you still here?" Olivia asked as her slender fingers picked up a handful of popcorn to her mouth.
"It's only been half of the day since I appeared," Julien pushed Olivia lazily using his foot which made the girl roll off the couch.
Both of them became sluggish when none of Julien's genius plans worked. Olivia convinced herself to wait for the night to see Julien change to Bear or any alter, just not Aca.
"Tell me more about all of the alters starting from Jace." She started with her eyes flickering slowly to sleep.
Julien gasped loudly, he sat up straightaway ready to with Olivia. "Jace is not an alter he is the main man here."
"Whatever, I need to know about the 'Main Man'. " She sarcastically said while raising two fingers in peace sign then curled it repeatedly.
"You must─" Julien was suddenly cut off when Olivia jerked up from the sofa.
Julien nodded with much distaste on his face, he is wondering if he'll swallow the fact that Olivia is the one who's mentally ill and not Jace and friends.
"You can get out of my apartment now. Comeback when a different alter is here, please stop f*cking with me." Julien flopped to the sofa right after he said every word.
"I'll let you braid my hair in exchange for informations." Olivia winked with a heavy smirk on her face.
Seeing how Julien turned his head and eyes in her direction at the same time made her chuckled. "Start asking."
"Okay─"
"But no questions about Jace's past only about his alters." Julien crossed his arms over his chest, still laying down on the sofa.
"Fine. Why did Jace have a French alter? Not that I have a problem with it." Olivia raised both of her hands in the air with an innocent face.
Julien rolled his eyes at the childish girl on the other couch. "Jace's dad lets him and his mom join his business trip to France, suddenly a french guy approached Jace. It frightened him as he saw how big and long the bread he is holding."
When he got no reaction from Olivia, he lifts only his head to look at her reaction. There, he saw Olivia trying to surpass the laughter she is holding right now. "Funny?"
"Jace was a child back then right? He must be so cute." Olivia stated with her two hands covering her mouth in awe.
"I am not done with the story." He sassed as Olivia's words pulled his grumpy mood.
"That's when Jace's dad tried to kill both of them. By that time, he is already having an affair with someone named as Lacil Gough." Julien slowly sat up as he continued the dark part of Jace having a french alter.
Olivia's eyes widened, "There's something very familiar with that name... it's like I heard it somewhere." She wondered with a wide set of eyes.
"I know, the name is ringing─"
A loud crash from the main door stopped Julien from saying more words.
The crash alerted Olivia and Julien. "What was that?" She asks as her heartbeat becomes two times faster.
Julien slowly stood up to check the loud noise, but a pair of hands held his. He was beyond shook on how Olivia's warm hands made Jace's heartbeat for it.
Jace, you weak bitch. We all can't like Olivia at the same time unless you're declaring war.
Julien thought as he removed the girl's grip on his hand. "I'll go check it."
Olivia nodded as she headed to the kitchen silently on tiptoe, she grabbed the knife near the sink. She'll use this for the defense, of course.
When Julien is nowhere to be seen, a scream of silence made Olivia worry. "Julien?"
A loud crash was heard again, but a pair of grunts and continuous breaking of glass echoed around the room. Julien is fighting with someone, and they are getting nearer to where Olivia is hiding.
"Sh*t..." She went under the counter as she waited for the both of them so she can stab the guy Julien is fighting in the back.
A sudden katana swung across the counter where all of the things above it were sliced in half. It all fell on Olivia, which made her scream silently.
The fighting continues, seeing the both of them fighting, especially the guy wearing ninja-like clothes, everything about him is covered except for his eyes.
"I can't do it... but I must help Julien." She convinced herself as the sound of katana hitting hard surfaces echoes.
She stood up with her eyes close. Olivia aimed for his back as the man cornered Julien. His Katana is now half-buried in Julien's hands, blood is gushing down his palms.
With one swift kick, she managed to get the man off of Julien. The man stumbled a little as there was still a lack of force from Olivia's kick. "Julien, let's run!"
She grabs his bloodied hands, but as soon as she made a step, a swing of katana made a slight contact to her stomach. From her right to the left side, that is how long her injury. It's not deep but a cut only, but that cut made her bleed like hell. "W-what..."
Olivia went dizzy when she saw a lot of blood rolling down her stomach, making her trapped in a stance of panic.
When the man saw Olivia bleed, he turned his attention to Julien, who was bleeding hard because of the deep cut on both of his hands.
"I-I'm sorry," Julien muttered.
And with that, he waited for his life to end with the guy who swings the Katana that looks very similar to Hwangju's. He closed his eyes then waited for his death to take over him.
But loud grunts and people falling was heard, he opened his eyes and saw Kevin above the man and Honey lifting Olivia who fainted due to shock. It was a blood bath for a long cut on the stomach
As he decided to help Kevin, then he met the man's eyes covered in black clothes. He suddenly got dizzy.
I remember.
I saw you.
Why are you here?
When Julien completely lost consciousness, Kevin saw this and immediately rushed to Julien, giving the other man freedom to escape.
"Kevin!" Honey shouted when she saw the man ran as if the big and buff Kevin didn't beat him up. "You lost him!"
"I'm sorry, but Jace is more important." He lifted Julien, and so did Honey.
"I called 911," Honey informed, which made Kevin stop between his tracks. "You can't."
"Why did you?!" He screamed in horrid as he ran on the window and saw police and an ambulance.
"Remember what Leo said? Jace is not free, they'll take him to a mental institute then torture him." Kevin stated in horror as Honey realized what she did.
"Oh, my God... I'm sorry." She teared up as she stares at the unconscious Jace resting on Kevin's arms.
"I'll find something to stop Jace from bleeding. Hand them over Olivia, but not Yoongi, I'll take him to someone I know." Kevin said as he wrapped Jace's bleeding hands with a thick cloth.
Honey nodded as she watched Kevin stress himself out, "Don't worry, they'll both be okay.
Kevin got out of the building successfully, using the stairs to the parking ground as per the agreement. He used one of Jace's fancy cars then drove off. "I'll take you to Marcelo." He whispered.
On the other hand, Honey patched Olivia's cut to slow the bleeding until the medics come. After a minute, a rushing set of people entered the unit and saw Honey covered in blood and patching up Olivia's wounds.
"Take them both." Ordered the officer to the medics, and they all obeyed.
As they take Olivia on the stretcher, the police are now left with Honey. "Ma'am, I need you to cooperate with us and tell us what exactly happened."
Honey nodded as she followed the officers; when they are in the lobby, she spotted Leo with a confused face and hurried on the elevator.
"You're too late Leo."
