Chapter 12 Almost Caught

"Take me out, sir," asked Falin, who approached Mr. Saiful—his private driver—who was sitting relaxing while brewing a cup of coffee at the security post.
Seeing Falin's figure already in front of him made Mr. Saiful rush to the car. Then, Falin followed him from behind.
Mr. Saiful is a rather fat man and not too tall. He has worked with Mr. Wisnu since Falin was two years old. During his work, he always acted nimble and trustworthy. That also made him still at Mr. Wisnu's house until that day.
When Falin arrived yesterday, Mr. Saiful looked very happy. The reason is, he is also the one who always accompanied and took care of Falin since childhood with Aunty Yura. In fact, in the past, whenever there was an activity at the Falin school, he was the one who always accompanied his employer's child. Even though Falin still feels sad when his parents can't accompany him. However, at least Mr. Saiful could calm him down a bit.
"Just got home, how come you're gone again, Non. Where are you going?" asked Mr. Saiful curiously while looking at the mirror in front of the car.
Falin smiled faintly. "Just walk first, sir. Falin will show you when it's close to the place," answered Falin politely and friendly.
Since childhood, Falin was always taught to be polite to anyone. Except for his assistants. Who else but Aunty Yura who instilled this habit in Falin. Then, from that attitude the servants at Mr. Wisnu's house really loved the girl. In fact, when Falin decided to leave his house, Aunty Yura and Mr. Saiful felt very devastated and lost.
Along the way Falin did not talk much with Mr. Saiful. She was just busy scrolling the screen of his phone. See the posts on the purple application installed on his cellphone. Meanwhile, Mr. Saiful remains focused on driving a car.
[Sister ... Falin joined today's study, right.]
Falin tried to send a message to Kirana. Incidentally, before returning home, Falin still had time to ask for Kirana's phone number. Previously, they had never contacted each other through the blue application. Because, while living on the streets, Falin did not carry a cell phone. After all, in the cardboard house there is also no power line to charge.
After passing through a small alley whose road was damaged, Falin's car finally arrived in front of the cardboard house. He saw the cardboard house through his car window. Then, staring at the cellphone screen which had not shown any signs of reply from Kirana. Falin was surprised why Kirana did not reply to his message.
"Wait here a moment, sir," said Falin, who then got off the silver car.
She then immediately walked to the cardboard house. However, she felt that something was off. She also wondered why there were no voices from his friends who were busy fighting over the books that Kirana usually brought. Only silence he found in front of the cardboard house.
Without lingering daydreaming in front of the house, Falin immediately entered the cardboard house whose sides had begun to break. Understandably... when it rains, the house will definitely suffer some damage. Houses like this are also very at risk of experiencing fire. The reason is, they are used to lighting candles at night because the light only comes from candles. If you are not careful and negligent, the candles could actually burn the cardboard walls.
"Bintari!" Falin was astonished when he found Bintari lying in a cardboard house.
"Why did you come here?" asked Bintari who was already sitting cross-legged in front of Falin.
"Where are the others? Then sister Kirana doesn't teach?" said Falin with a panicked face.
She was worried about Kirana and his other friends. Because, they should all be in the cardboard house.
"My friends are singing, Sis. Ms. Kirana was here, but only gave her this food. She can't teach today," Bintari explained while pointing his index finger at the food that Kirana brought a few hours ago.
There Falin was confused and surprised. In his mind, he wondered what Kirana's interests were that he couldn't teach that day. In fact, Falin understands very well that no matter how busy Kirana is, she will definitely take the time to teach, even for a little while.
"Oh, here I also brought you food. There are some that can last until tomorrow," said Falin while handing over the food he brought.
Bintari then immediately received the food. However, both of his eyeballs seemed to glaze over.
"Loh, why so sad?" asked Falin who realized this.
It seems, Bintari felt touched and happy. Because, as long as she was alive, this was the first time she and her friends had been able to taste the food that passed by like what Falin and Kirana brought. In fact, they usually eat with only tofu and tempeh.
"This is the first time Bintari and friends can eat delicious food like what you and Sister Kirana brought today," said the little girl with sweet black skin who could not hold back her tears.
Falin, who also felt Bintari's compassion, spontaneously threw a hug to Bintari. After all, Falin had also been in such a position. Therefore, he certainly understands the feelings that are perched on Bintari's day.
"Dear ... I will often send food for you guys," said Falin, trying to calm Bintari.

"Sister Kirana, how come you haven't come yet!" Shinta complained, who had been going back and forth to check the clock on her cellphone screen.
It had been half an hour for Shinta to wait for Kirana to arrive at the Dandelion Cafe. If not for the sake of her reputation in front of Fahri's family, it is very likely that Shinta would never want to meet her sister, Kirana.
To get rid of her boredom, Shinta tries to open a purple application that is installed on her cellphone. See posts that can be spelled out according to his taste. From time to time, he also saw several online shops scattered in the purple application. Looking for trending clothes, branded bags, and so on.
Actually, Shinta is not the type of woman who likes to shop online. He prefers to spend his time shopping at the mall with his friends. In fact, sometimes he also often hangs out with his mother Fahri.
Five minutes passed, the person they had been waiting for did not come. This may be because the distance between Dandelion Cafe and Kirana's rental is quite far. He didn't even have a vehicle to use to get to the cafe. Unlike Shinta, who can carry a luxury car everywhere.
While he was busy with his cellphone, suddenly someone called Shinta's name. Shinta spontaneously put the cellphone she was using into a small red bag next to her.
"Where have you been, Ma'am?!" Shinta snapped when she didn't have time to look at who had called her earlier.
"Who are you, Sinta?" said the adult woman who turned out to be Fahri's mother.
How shocked Shinta was when she realized that the people in front of her were Fahri and her mother. In fact, she had sent a message to Kirana not to tell Fahri about the meeting. And now, Fahri and his mother are also at the Dandelion Cafe.
"Emm... my co-worker, Auntie," Shinta answered casually.
She must have felt so nervous and panicked that his answer sounded strange. At that time, Shinta was very afraid that her sister would suddenly come and meet Fahri and her mother. The secrets that he has been working on for so long will surely be exposed in no time.
Meanwhile, Fahri, who had been beside his mother, was able to read Shinta's nervous movements. Fahri actually suspected that Shinta was hiding something at that time.
"Oh ... how about we go to the mall together?"
Shinta cursed in her heart. He was confused about what to answer at that time. The restless movements were increasingly visible.
"But, Shinta still has an appointment with a friend, Auntie." Shinta keeps trying to find excuses so that Fahri's mother no longer invites her.
They are both very close. Shinta is often invited to the mall and bought by her mother Fahri new clothes. Talented young women like Shinta do have their own charm. According to Fahri's mother, she is a very suitable woman to be side by side with Fahri at the aisle.
However, this is certainly not in line with Fahri. Shinta's spoiled and childish attitude makes Fahri not interested in her. So far, Fahri has only carried out his mother's orders to accompany Shinta to hangout or others. He certainly tries to always keep his mother's heart so as not to be disappointed.
"We're going to have lunch together, Mom. She said she misses having lunch with Fahri," said Fahri, who was increasingly aware of Shinta's movements. He tries to persuade his mother not to force Shinta anymore.
She also felt a little disappointed with Shinta's answer earlier. However, she realized that Fahri's words were also true. The two of them rarely get to eat together. Because Fahri happened to have no work schedule that day, they finally took the time to hangout and have lunch together. Even Fahri's mother doesn't want the future son-in-law he wants to feel uncomfortable with his invitation.
"Yes, it's ... next time, yes, Shinta," said Fahri's mother with slightly pursed lips.
Shinta also feels bad because she has refused Fahri's mother's invitation. However, it's okay, the meeting with his brother is much more important at that time.
Feeling that there was no longer any interest, Fahri and his mother immediately left to find another table. However, Fahri deliberately chose a table not far from where Shinta was sitting. He was still curious with whom Shinta would meet.
