Chapter 39
Third Person POV.
The room was filled with cries and mourns. Can't figure out what is happening. Her best friend was forcing her to wake up even though that's impossible now. The love of his life, he held her cold and pale hands. Trying hard to accept the fact that she's no longer beside him.
"Time of death, 5:42 pm."
The doctor declared. The world of everyone went grey. They are all devastated by what they heard. The bullet hit Yena's right hemisphere of her brain that caused her death.
"No, please tell us you're just kidding around!"
A loud yell while her eyes were watering. A friend of hers that she left behind. Shannie's been crying for more than hours now. While Dawn on the other side is busy gritting his teeth and determined to seek justice for the innocent Helly.
"Did she fight?" he asked the doctor who's also sad about what happened.
Dawn's heartbeat can be heard. It was racing so fast just like a running horse. He's been silent for more than an hour but deep inside of him, he really wants to cry and shout his feelings out. He is in the middle of frustration yet he managed himself to be quiet.
The doctor was stopped for a while. The one who passed by has a special space on his heart as she was the only daughter of the owner of the medical center.
"N-No, she didn't..."
Being hurt by the doctor's answer, he let out a couple of sighs. He shook his head and then his gaze darted to Timothy. He is hugging her wrist so tight.
He glanced at Shannie who's being comforted with the teary Yulla. Just like Dawn, she chose to cry quietly. She really loves Helly but she can't cry yet. She needs to comfort the broken Shannie.
"You did great, Helly. I'm so proud of you. Don't worry, the ones who did this to you will probably rot their whole life in jail. Daddy will fight for you, okay?"
When Dawn heard what Timothy said to their daughter, that was the moment that he didn't help but to let her tears pool down to his cheeks.
He is clueless about what to do. He wants to hug her for the last time. Even her body is now cold.
He expected Helly to pass away because of his illness. Not like this. That is the reason why he can't accept the fact that Helly is now dead.
While Helly's body was being brought to the funeral, Dawn wasn't there. He drove directly to his unit and the moment he opened his door, there he let out all of his feelings.
On his mind, no more warm hugs anymore. No more warm and wild kisses anymore. No more bratty girl that he loves to educate. A girl he saw kissing someone while leaning on his black mustang, the one who fainted in front of her, has now left him. He looked down as he didn't know what to do anymore.
He is mad at that woman who shot Helly on its head. The image of her dying brutally made him want to ruin everything in his room.
"H-Helly, why do you have to leave me like this? I once failed before—I know that. I bet you understood it. Ugh!"
He leaned his back on the door while his clothes were still the same. Changing clothes wasn't his priority now.
He erased on his mind the thought that he is blaming Helly for its own death. The one who should blame was the one who pulled the trigger. This feeling is like nostalgic to him. He remembers when Helly ran away without any word when an incident happened in their hospital. He realized that no matter how brat she is, she has the softest heart that made her worry about everything.
He remembers her smile, the way Helly giggles every time he becomes sweet towards him. The way he got jealous of their white cat. She looks like a cute girl tiger. Those memories made him smile secretly.
He immediately misses her. However, he partly accepts her death. Finally, she's now resting. She doesn't have to suffer anymore.
He smiled while reminiscing his memories with Helly while his tears continued flowing down.
On the other side, Timothy stared at the coffin of his own daughter. It was just a private funeral. Only exclusives on their close trusted colleagues, friends, and relatives. After all, the culprit wasn't arrested yet.
It's been days since she was being put there. Memories flooded to Timothy. When his wife died in a car accident, he broke down too. He almost gave up on everything. But now, he doesn't want to give up anymore. He was craving for justice, that's why.
"Dawn, thank you for loving my daughter," he muttered when he felt Dawn's presence beside him.
"I should be the one who will thank you, sir. You raised a strong woman. I'm happy for her that she managed to fight her deadly illness. For believing herself that she can survive. Though she surrendered but at least, she had a great and awesome fight." Dawn spoke whole his heart began to rip again.
Both of them are facing Helly's coffin. She was there, laying and looking like she was just sleeping peacefully.
"Hmm, yeah. I still haven't prepared for this but I can't do anything anymore. All I just have to do is to continue my life after this because I know, that's what my daughter wants me to do."
A ghost of a smile came out from Dawn. But that disappeared when he remembered one of Helly's last words. The one she wants him to promise.
"She said I shouldn't close my heart to someone else... I don't know if I still can do that."
Timothy nodded. "Indeed, history repeats itself," he muttered.
He realized that they almost have the same situation. The only difference is, Helly and Dawn didn't get married and vowed for each other. But they are the same, being left by the one they love more than their lives.
"Do what my daughter wants. I would understand, Dawn. Don't let the heartbreak chain you forever."
Dawn was somewhat shocked by what Timothy said. Though, he is really clueless on what to do next. Waiting for his mind to command him.
But there's one thing he knows. Helleon Eummer Addingston was his great love. Her memories would remain in his heart forever.

She is wearing her white casual suit while heading to the parking lot firmly. She gritted her teeth when she saw a lot of media waiting for her to come out from its the workplace.
"Get out my way!" she yelled frustratingly and made the other employees tremble in fear.
The heavy steps from her black stilettos filled the hallway. It is intimidating. Her eyes were getting dark and sharp. She's like a wild lioness now.
She went to her office and replaced her white formal suit with a black shirt and black ripped jeans. She doesn't look professional anymore.
Dymieyle Gladstone, the wife of Richard Gladstone is now in bad girl mode. She immediately went out of the building and no one knows how he escaped the bunch of media.
She grinned. "What an idiot.'' and then smirked at the media's craving for her thoughts.
The news about Richard Gladstone and Ethann Gladstone just flooded the whole country. They were one of the finest businessmen and women yet they got involved in a crime.
She immediately clicked her keys and drove to the police station smoothly. As if she's not been oriented on the rules and regulations about driving.
"What the hell, f'cking kid? You really did that? Are you an idiot?" she scolded her own son when she visited him. He is now wearing its an orange shirt. The sign that he is now being jailed.
She can't believe that his son finally surrendered.
"Tss, that old man doesn't deserve peace. Mom! They should suffer more! Especially Helly! She's been a brat and I really hate her for that. Ugh, that annoying old Timothy ruined my plan."
She got intrigued. That lightened up her mood. She actually doesn't know what her husband and son are planning. She swore that she wouldn't commit a crime but now, she suddenly became interested in it.
"What is your plan then? let me do it," she said coldly.
Ethann's eyes immediately became hopeful. He smirked and then went closer to his mother.
He is somewhat happy now that his mother is finally willing to fulfill its the plan. Ethann has indeed become a demon now.
"Kill Helly. It's up to you on how you will do it, Mom but I want it to be in a brutal way."
Dymieyle furrowed her brows. "Why her? Why shouldn't we kill Timothy instead? With that, their medical center will fall down and they will be as poor as rats."
Ethann raised his brows. That was a good idea for him but he is still determined to shoot Helleon instead.
"Helly is Timothy's strength. If she dies, it would be his biggest downfall. He might even kill himself instead. He will be alone if Helly is no longer on earth. That man is always pissing me. He is so dumb. I am not surrendering totally."
As she really loves her family, she really did what he said after months. Of course, she needs time. The time when the Addingston and Hadley will think that they are now finally at peace. She smiled devilishly at her plans. She was sure that this would succeed.
She prepared all her things. Guns and knives. She's pro of this. Killing isn't new to her. That's a fact that no one knows. Even her own family.
She then grabbed a scissor and cut her hair into a jaw length. She's wearing her black fitted long sleeve that defines her chest really. She is wearing her black high-waisted jeans and black boots.
She smirked when she saw the five people in a hospital room. The two are busy talking to the one who's laying on its bed. From Dymieyle's view, she clearly sees the "dumbest peeps".
"Such dramatic pathetic people," she muttered when she followed Helly and Dawn at the rooftop.
She was busy listening to their conversation. Until they were both standing up, she saw her target turn its head directly in her direction. Scared on he might be caught, she then pulled the trigger directly on her head.

She was leaning her head on the jail's cold wall.
"Their heir got married?"
She heard her co-inmates. Dymieyle smirked in despair. Unfortunately, after five years of hiding, she got arrested. But that isn't a hindrance for her to commit more crimes. Download Novelah App
