Chapter 13: Encounter with Jake
Trina's POV:
Trina's head was filled with confusion as she found herself lying in a hospital bed, surrounded by unfamiliar faces. The accident had left her disoriented, and her memory seemed to be in disarray. She couldn't recognize the person standing in front of her, claiming to be her boyfriend.
"Who are you?" Trina asked, her voice trembling with uncertainty. "I'm sorry, but I don't remember you."
The man's face turned pale, a mix of shock and sadness evident in his eyes. It was Jj, the person who had been with her before the accident, but the memories of their relationship were lost in the fog of her amnesia.
"I'm Jj," he replied softly, his voice laced with a hint of disappointment. "We were in a relationship before the accident. We cared about each other deeply."
Trina's heart sank as she realized the significance of his words. The person before her had meant something to her, but now all those emotions were a blank canvas. The weight of her memory loss was overwhelming, and she struggled to grasp the reality of her situation.
"I'm sorry," Trina murmured, tears welling up in her eyes. "I can't remember anything. I don't know who I am or who you are to me. It's all so confusing."
Jj took a step closer, his voice filled with a mix of sadness and determination. "It's alright, Trina. We'll find a way to navigate through this together. We'll rediscover our love, one memory at a time."
Though Trina couldn't recall their shared moments, there was something in Jj's eyes that sparked a glimmer of hope within her. Maybe, just maybe, they could rebuild their connection and create new memories that would intertwine their lives once again.
As Trina and Jj stood in that hospital room, facing the uncertainty of her amnesia, they both knew that their journey would be a challenging one. But they were determined to uncover the fragments of their past and forge a new path forward, hand in hand.
Jj's POV:
As Jj stood there, watching Trina struggle to remember their past, a wave of sadness washed over him. It pained him to see the person he loved unable to recognize him or the depth of their relationship. He wished he could do something to restore her memories, to bring back the moments they had shared together.
"I'm so sorry, Trina," Jj whispered, his voice laced with remorse. "I never wanted any of this to happen. I wish I could take away your pain and make things right."
He couldn't help but blame himself for the accident and the subsequent amnesia that had robbed Trina of her memories. Guilt gnawed at his heart, knowing that their relationship had been strained even before the accident occurred.
Jj knew he had made mistakes, that his actions had hurt both Trina and Cally. He had tried to keep their forbidden connection hidden, but it had only caused pain and confusion. Now, with Trina's amnesia, it seemed like a cruel twist of fate.
Taking a deep breath, Jj made a silent promise to himself. He would do everything in his power to support Trina during this difficult time, even if it meant putting his own feelings aside. He wanted to be there for her, to help her navigate through the maze of lost memories and find a sense of identity once again.
"I'll be here for you, Trina," Jj said, his voice filled with determination. "Even if you can't remember our past, I'll support you and help you rebuild your life. We'll find a way to move forward together."
With those words, Jj vowed to be a pillar of strength for Trina, despite the emotional turmoil that brewed within him. He knew that their journey would be challenging, but he was willing to face it head-on. For now, their love might be buried beneath the layers of forgotten memories, but he believed that with time and patience, it could be rekindled.
As Jj stood by Trina's side in that hospital room, he held onto the flicker of hope that their love story wasn't over just yet. Together, they would navigate the uncertain path ahead and discover a new chapter, one that held the potential for healing, forgiveness, and the rekindling of their bond.

Chapter 13:
Cally's POV:
Cally was going about her shift at the cafe, trying to focus on her work and push aside the thoughts of Jj and Trina that still lingered in her mind. She welcomed the distraction of serving customers, finding solace in the simple tasks that kept her occupied.
As she approached one of the tables, she noticed a customer sitting alone, engrossed in his phone. Cally greeted him with a warm smile and asked, "Good afternoon, may I take your order?"
The customer looked up from his phone and their eyes met. Cally couldn't help but notice the genuine appreciation in his gaze, and a slight blush crept up her cheeks. His ID tag read "Jake," a college professor in the university nearby and there was a friendly charm about him that put her at ease.
"Hi, Jake," Cally replied, returning his smile. "What can I get for you today?"
Jake's eyes sparkled as he placed his order, complimenting Cally's beautiful face in a genuine and respectful manner. Cally felt a mixture of surprise and flattery, appreciating the kind words that brightened her day.
"I'm having a hot Vietnamese latte and a slice of pizza please. And by the way miss, you look so beautiful today."
"Thank you," Cally said, her smile widening. "That's very kind of you to say. I'll get your order right away."
As Cally walked away to prepare Jake's order, she couldn't help but feel a flicker of excitement within her. The brief interaction with Jake had lifted her spirits, reminding her that there were people out there who appreciated her for who she was.
With renewed determination, Cally returned to Jake's table, carrying his order and a newfound sense of hope. She handed him his food, their eyes meeting once again, and said, "Enjoy your meal, Jake. Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you."
As she walked away, Cally couldn't help but wonder what the future held, both in her personal life and her journey of self-discovery. With each step, she carried a newfound confidence, ready to embrace the opportunities that lay ahead and open her heart to the possibility of finding happiness once again.
Jake's POV:
Jake couldn't get Cally out of his mind. Her radiant smile and genuine kindness had left a lasting impression on him. As he sat at his table, he couldn't help but feel drawn to her. He knew he had to gather the courage to ask for her number.
With a determined stride, Jake made his way to the counter where Cally was busy attending to other customers. He took a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves, and approached her with a friendly smile.
"Hi, Cally," Jake said, his voice filled with genuine interest. "You know, I couldn't help but notice how beautiful your smile is. I was wondering if I could have the privilege of getting your number?"
Cally's eyes widened in surprise, caught off guard by Jake's straightforward approach. She couldn't deny the spark of attraction she felt towards him, but she also knew she needed to tread carefully after the complications of her previous relationship.Download Novelah App
