Chapter 7:
Ruben's POV:
The day after golems attack...
It was already 7 pm here at covenstead; a meeting place for witches. Since there are only a few witches and all the clans are friends we made this a meeting place for all the high rank members of every clan and witches. We couldn’t understand why they want us to be here.We were all around the big round table. We are with our parents.
"Where here to discuss about what happened yesterday. The attacks of the golems. You all know that golems doesn't exist, it was all legends. But legends came from truth. We don't know who is this golem creator but I'm sure he or she is just a follower." uncle Timothy."
"What do you mean?" clan leader of Mathell Clan. He have this Braided Beard hairstyle and a older version of Zyck.
"There is a possibility that we have a spy on our clan. If not, it may have left us before but everyone who left us wants to live normally. Like some of your members, there are those who left because they wanted to be normal people and forget being gifted." clan leader of Ertian Clan. He have this long hair and beard hairstyle.
"I once heard a story about your power clan leader of Ertian. A power that can create a golem but it is a hundred years ago someone had that power. There may be one of you who pretends to be an ally but the question is why they're attacking? There's a reason why they attacked the place where our kids are training." Dexter's father looked at us. He have this vintage scandinavian hairstyle paired with beard.
"We have to be careful." Wyvern Clan leader. He have this long mohawk hairstyle
"What happened that day?" Questioned of the Clan leader of Heav. He have this nordic viking hairstyle.
"There's nothing much, it's just that it's hard to knock out golems and another golem creator has to be found to stop it." Alexa explained.
"Something amazing happened. Kriza, her powers came out of her hand then. Booom! All the golems were destroyed." me being proud.
"We don't have proof that she really knocked them down and then Kriza has no power." Richard  
"Like duhh, Kriza is gifted too and she have powers." Tasha the crazy. I saw Tricia nudge her so I frowned.
Are they hiding anything?
"Oh Shit!" Tasha covered her mouth she obviously slipped at what she said. Uncle Tim just sighed because of Tasha's stupidity. Haha
"I think you need to know about Kriza's identity. She's not belong to any clan or a witch. Remember the day we slaughtered a family---
"What?! What do you mean?! Slaughter?! Why didn't you tell us about this!" Zyck who was obviously irritated and angry.
Zyck have a mood swing now. He didn't care on everything before except to be strong and now here he is, like a wife who needs explanation from her husband because she was betrayed.
"Calm down son" Mathell Clan leader.
"17 years ago, we slaughtered a strong family named Rov-ien. They are strong enough so we all united to kill them along with the witches. Fear ate us. The truth is this place is not peaceful. There is always war and they are one of the reasons why this place is peaceful. We owe them a big dept, they help us during war. Almost all clan leaders would have died if not for them. They stopped the war and it was peaceful." uncle Tim told us.
" Then, why did you guys slaughter them?" Rex asked.
"It's funny to say that we were just frightened by them because they are powerful. They were blessed. They can control more than one power we have. When their family grows they can lead this area." clan leader of Mathell.
"You are not afraid because they are powerful, you are afraid because they can rule and subdue you with their power. You elders are greed of that f*cking position. You didn't think of what's the consequences of your actions. You all are piece of sh*ts!" Zyck said angrily.
The leaders fell silent, because Zyck was right. They are so selfish.
"So, what's the connection with Kriza?"Alexa asked while raising her head.
Uncle Tim closed his eyes before speaking. "She's the only survivor of that family. Daisy saw Kriza on one side of the tree. Daisy wants to raise her. The witches are the only one knows about Kriza. Some are against it, that's why there are only a few of us. Many resigned and many also chose to be normal but there is a witch who wants Daisy to choose, be the leader of the witches or leave this place and never show up again, but Daisy chooses her. Daisy sacrifices her dreams over that baby and we keep this secret so that no one will harm Kriza." uncle Timothy explained.
"What if Kriza finds out that we are to blame for why she has no family and the worst part is we killed her family." Rex was obviously confused.
"That's why, all of you must keep this secret from her. Don't tell her just for now. This is not the right time to tell her the truth. We have enemies here." the Wyvern Clan leader warned
Secrets that were buried deep enough will be found sooner or later.
"Son and your friends may go now." clan head Linosvel ordered.
We stood up and left that place. Whe we are outside of the room we sighed at once. We looked each other and laugh.
Third Person's POV:
Unbeknownst to them, someone overheard everything they were talking about. She immediately hid in the other room as if she knew very well what was going on in the area. It made her smile. "You are what the master is looking for, Kriza." she whispered to herself.
When she felt that there is no one outside, she immediately went to the room where they were talking. She pulled out a small table by the window side and opened the wooden door. If you don't look at it carefully you won't notice that it's an exit tunnel.
She immediately went in there and there was a small door that fit two hands to pull back the small table. there were robes, papers and birds trapped in the cage. She wrote on the paper and immediately put on the purse and left carrying a cage containing a crow bird and a lamp.
