"Why are you following me?" Stella stopped walking in front of a room when she noticed that Brandon was at her back. "I told you that I will follow you!" Brandon said, and Stella immediately rolled her eyes at him. "Yeah, I heard that but you shouldn't follow me." Stella answered, but Brandon didn't listen to her. "Why though? This is not your house." Brandon said, which made Stella irritated. "I know and don't forget that house is your ex-girlfriend's house." Stella told him, and Brandon glared at her. "Don't bring back the past!" Brandon told her, and Stella smirked at him. "Why though?" Stella answered and started looking for a room. Daisha stopped in front of the meat section and looked for something she would buy, "Are you sure that they are fine spending their time with each other?" Darrel asked her while pushing the cart. "Of course, you don't trust me huh!" Daisha answered and glared at him. "Not that I don't trust you but Stella is going to be married to Brandon's brother." Darrel said, which made Daisha stop. "Come on, don't think negatively! Everything will be fine." Daisha answered, and Darrel didn't have a choice but to agree with her. After getting all they wanted to buy, they fell in line at the counter. "What if Theo gets the news that Brandon is with Stella?" Darrel asked her again, "There's nothing we can do about it!" Daisha answered and smiled at him. Darrel took a deep breath and shook his head in disbelief, "Are you ruining your sister's life?" He asked her. Stella immediately looked at him, "What are you saying? I'm just doing a favour for Brandon!" Daisha answered. "Oh! Your ex-boyfriend!" Darrel said, and Stella immediately held his arm. "Come on, we already talked about it!" Daisha answered, and Darrel nodded his head. Daisha handed her card to the cashier right away when Darrel tried to pay for it, "You are so fast, huh!" He said while smirking at her. "Of course, wolf thing!" Daisha whispered at him, and they both laughed at each other. They were in the parking lot when Daisha saw a familiar car, "Dang! That's Theo!" Daisha whispered to Darrel. "I told you!" Darrel answered her, and they went inside the car. "Nah, Brandon already left!" Daisha said and fastened her seatbelt. Darrel started driving back to their place, and Daisha noticed that Theo was following them. "I should call Stella!" Daisha said and got her phone from her pocket. She looked for Stella's number and called it, "Come on, pick it up!" She said while looking at the side mirror. "Maybe she's sleeping!" Darrel told her, and Daisha shook her head. They reached their house, and Darrel parked his car inside the garage. They got their groceries from the trunk and went inside the house. Daisha immediately put down the groceries she was carrying and went to the window. "He's outside!" Daisha said and looked for her sister. She was looking for Stella upstairs and saw her sleeping inside the guest room. She tapped Stella’s cheeks to wake her up, "I'm trying to rest here!" Stella said while her eyes were closed. "Where's Brandon?" Daisha whispered to her sister, but Stella didn't say anything. "DAISHA!" She heard Darrel call her name, so she went downstairs. She was walking into the living room and saw Theo talking to Darrel. "Oh! I didn’t know that you would visit her right away." Daisha told him, and Theo smiled at her. "I just wanna check if she's doing great here!" Theo answered and looked around. "I can smell fur here!" Theo said while looking around, "I'm sorry! I forgot to clean our house." Daisha answered and looked at Darrel. "Do you want to eat dinner with us?" Darrel invited her, but Theo shook his head. "I don't want her to see me here. I will go now!" Theo said and stood up from the couch. "Next time we can eat dinner together!" Daisha told him, and Theo nodded his head. "Please look at her for me." Theo said, and Daisha immediately agreed with him. They walked into the main door, and Darrel opened it. "See you again, bro!" He told Theo and tapped his shoulder. "Yeah, see you again!" Theo answered and went outside. Darrel closed the door and that's when they could breathe again after that intense conversation with Theo. "Did you find him?" Darrel immediately asked her, and Daisha shook her head. "Maybe he already left!" Daisha answered, and they went back to the living room. "That's good to hear!" Darrel said and sat beside Daisha. They were resting for a while when something dropped from the kitchen, "Who is that?" Darrel immediately stood up, but Daisha stopped him. "Let me check it!" Daisha told him and walked into the kitchen. They were looking around the kitchen and found no one, "The bottle!" Darrel said while pointing out a bottle of water. Daisha picked it up and looked at it for a couple of seconds, "Someone has been here!" She said and immediately went to Darrel. "Brandon!' Daisha called him, but no one answered her. "Hey, why are you yelling?" Stella appeared in the kitchen while fixing her hair. "Where is Brandon?" Daisha asked her sister seriously, "I don't know!" Stella answered. "Stay with Darrel and I will just look around." Daisha instructed her sister, and Stella just nodded her head. Daisha went outside the house using the back door, "What is happening?" Stella asked Darrel. "I guess someone entered here without anyone knowing." Darrel answered, and Stella focused right away. "Really?" Stella asked him, and Darrel nodded his head. They looked around and heard footsteps from upstairs, "Dang! Call my sister and I will check on it!" Stella said and immediately walked away. Darrel couldn't stop her because she walked really fast, so he went outside to call Daisha. "What? They are inside?" Daisha asked Darrel, and he nodded his head. "Let's go!" Darrel said, and they went inside the house. Daisha was walking while Darrel was following her, "Stella!" Daisha called her sister in her low voice. They went upstairs and couldn't find Stella. "STELLA!" Daisha lost her patience and called her sister. "I AM HERE!" Stella answered inside the guest room. They went to the guest room and saw Stella sitting on her bed, "Did you see— Daisha stopped talking when she saw Brandon leave the bathroom. "You are still here?" Daisha asked him right away. "I guess I will spend a night here!" Brandon answered and combed his hair. "That's fine with me!" Darrel said and looked at Daisha. "Come on, let's prepare our dinner." Daisha said and shook her head in disbelief. They went to the kitchen and started putting their groceries in the fridge. "I saw my brother's car outside!" Brandon said while washing the vegetables. "He's here?" Stella immediately asked her sister, which made Daisha roll her eyes at Brandon. "Yeah, he just wants to see if you are fine here!" Daisha didn't want to say anything about Theo, but Brandon opened it up. "He's better at being a father than a husband!" Brandon said, and Stella glared at him. "You have a mansion, why don't you stay there?" Stella asked him right away. "Correction, that is not my mansion. My father owned it!" Brandon answered and continued what he was doing. "Don't ever fight here!" Daisha warned them, and Stella didn't say anything. Daisha and Stella started cooking their dinner while Brandon and Darrel were waiting in the living room. "What did my brother tell you?" Brandon asked Darrel, "Nothing, he is just worried for Stella!" Darrel answered and got the remote. Darrel opened the television and the baseball match was playing, "Oh! I like that team!" Brandon said while pointing out a team. A couple of hours passed, and Daisha called them for dinner. "You really have a talent for cooking!" Darrel praised Daisha, which made Brandon laugh at him. "You also need to thank Stella!" Brandon told him, and Darrel nodded his head. "Actually, you don't need to do that!" Stella immediately said and rolled her eyes at Brandon. They started eating their dinner and talked a lot about their childhood, “So, you are saying that Daisha is older than you?” Darrel asked Brandon. “You are right, honey!” Daisha answered and smiled at him, “He’s talking to me!” Brandon said, and Daisha immediately rolled her eyes at him. “Darrel, don’t you have any wine here?” Stella asked him, and Darrel stood up from his seat. “I have! Let me just get it!” Darrel answered and left the dining area, “You are so picky, huh!” Daisha told her sister, and Stella just smiled at her. Darrel came back with a bottle of red wine while Brandon stood up to get some glasses. He served it to them, and Darrel filled their glasses with wine. “Thank you!” Daisha thanked her boyfriend, “You are always welcome!” Darrel answered. Stella tasted the wine, and she liked it. She finished her wine and got the bottle to fill her glass again, “Hey! Easy!” Brandon told her, but she didn’t listen to him. “Let her enjoy her wine.” Daisha stopped Brandon, “Fine!” Brandon answered and raised both arms. “That’s right!” Stella teased him, and they finished their dinner after drinking three bottles of red wine. “Is there any spare room for me?” Brandon asked them, and Darrel nodded his head. “Of course, let me show you!” Darrel answered and they went upstairs. “I guess we are going to do the dishes— “Not me! I already cooked our food!” Stella cut what her sister was saying, and Daisha coughed out of disbelief. “Are you serious right now?” Daisha asked her sister, and Stella nodded her head. “Bye! Thank you!” Stella teased her and ran upstairs, “What a brat!” Daisha said while shaking her head and started doing the dishes. Darrel went downstairs and saw Daisha doing the dishes, “I will help you!” He said. Daisha was startled when Darrel appeared in the kitchen and stole the sponge from her hand. “You should rest now. I can do this alone!” Daisha told him, but Darrel didn’t listen to her. After doing the dishes, they decided to rest right away. Stella was looking at the mirror and wiped the water from her face, “I look stressed!” She said while looking at her face. She left the bathroom and went to bed, “I need to get some rest!” She said and lay on the bed. She covered her body with a blanket when someone stole the blanket from her. She immediately sat on the bed and looked around, “What are you doing here?” She said and pushed Brandon away. Brandon fell from the bed and his boy slammed on the floor, “Dang!” He said and tried to stand up. “That hurts a lot!” Brandon told her, and Stella threw a pillow at him. “Leave now!” Stella told him, and Brandon got the pillow. He went to the door and opened it, “Give back my pillow!” Stella told him, but Brandon already left the room. “What a jerk!” She added and shook her head in disbelief. She stood up from the bed and closed the door. “I need that pillow!” She said and got out of the room. She walked into the hallway and found Brandon’s room. She knocked on the door, but Brandon didn’t answer her so she opened the door. She went to the bed and saw Brandon sleeping soundly, “I will get what is mine!” Stella said and stole the pillow. She almost fell when she couldn’t take the pillow from him. Brandon put a little force and pulled the pillow from Stella. She was also pulled into the bed and landed on Brandon’s arm, “The feeling is mutual!” He whispered to her. Stella froze after hearing those words from Brandon’s mouth, “What are you saying— She couldn’t finish what she was saying when Brandon sealed her lips with a kiss.
