Find Her

Jung POV
After two weeks…
I sat down on a long settee in the school reception, waiting impatiently for her.
A prefect has gone to fetch her.
I sighed deeply, a lot has really been arising lately, I clarified everything to Mia without dropping a piece behind, but she got mad instead. She keeps saying I betrayed her and cheated on her even after knowing everything. It's been two weeks already, she still doesn't want to talk to me, she yelled at me and made me lose my temper most times. So, I figured I should just let her be for a while.
But now, all that matters most to me is my daughter and chun cha, they truly need to forgive me and that's why I'm here to see Audrey. “She's here, sir” The young receptionist announced, and I promptly got on my feet.
Our gazes closed up for a while before enraged built up on her face. “How may I help you, sir?” She wrinkled her arms on her chest and asked, sarcastically.
I gulped down nothing and slowly counted my steps to where she was standing. “Audrey…” “You have no right” She butts in, glaring violently. “I repeat, you have absolutely no right to utter my name”
Oh my, she's just like her mother.
“I don't know why you're here, and believe me, I prefer not to know because I don't give a damn when it comes to an unreliable father like you” Her jawline clutched as she talks and I just watch her, dolefully.
“Oh, let me guess why you're here, you're here to seek for forgiveness, isn't it?”
She huffs before taking a step closer. “Don't even think about it man, cause even after your death, I'll still not forgive you” She gritted out, glaring at me.
I felt my heart plunged immediately.
She turned to walk away, but ceased and faced me again. “One more thing Mr. Jung” She says and hesitated. “Don't ever come looking for me again, ever. And if you refused to listen, then I won't hesitate to charge you of attempted abduction,” She threatened sternly and my eyes expanded in alarm.
And with another hard glare, she shot at me, she stormed out of the reception.
I took my steps backward and slumped to the couch, releasing a rueful sigh.
This is going to be tougher than I'd assumed.
Audrey POV
What was he thinking, that I was going to forgive him and let everything slip?
No!
He has to pay dearly for all the sufferings he had inflicted in my mom!
“Audrey” I heard him called behind me.
I turned over to face him, tears trickling from my eyes continuous. “What happened?” His eyes protruded. “Did someone hurts you?”
“Why are you crying?” He inquired with anxious laced in his voice.
Without reasoning, I went into his arms, whimpering uncontrollably on his shoulder.
He was caught off guard, but he quickly managed to huddled me into his arms warmly. “It's okay, pour it out, you'll be fine afterwards” He said soothingly into my ear, caressing my back tenderly.
I let the tears gushed on their own, not willing to stop them.
Duffer heaved a huge sigh after I was done talking. We were both sitting next to each other on the lawn in the school garden.
“Uh mm… Don't you think it's time you let the past go and forgive your dad?” Duffer piped up after the short silence.
I turned to him and scoffed. “Can you listen to yourself now?” I, half yelled, like he's the reason behind my dilemma.
“You want me to forgive him after all I just told you?” A slight smile emerged on his lips.
“But you heard it from her yourself, isn't it?”
“Pardon?” I furrowed my brows. “Didn't you told me she narrated everything to you, and you also said you vividly saw how remorseful she was,” He proceeded. I looked away from his face and moaned. He was implying to his mom. “So you already forgave her? I asked him calmly, gazing at me shoe.
“Solely if you're ready to forgive your dad too” I shut my eyes briefly before tilting my head to his side. “That's not happening, Duffer” I grind my teeth and I heard him snickered. “Come to think of it psycho, we are both in the same shoes, we are both suffering from equivalent ailment which is completely deterring us to view the additional glamorous part of life” Duffer explains with knowledge of seriousness.
He gently held my left hand in his.
“Can't we just evacuate our past behind us and relish the beautiful part of life?” He asked, staring intensely into my eyes.
“Uhm mm, but why are you changing your mind all of a sudden?” I asked him, avoiding the question he just hurled at me.
He smiled, and I watched as he dug his hand into his trouser pocket and retrieved his cellphone. “I'm beginning to see the world in a broad new view, and I don't expect you to be left behind, psycho” He winked at me,, but I just gaped at him. He encircled his arms around my shoulder. Huh?
He brought his cellphone closer to our faces, and the next I heard was the clicked sound of the camera of his phone.
“What are you doing?” I asked timidly, snatching my eyes away. “I want us to conserve a memory of this day,” He said with a bright smile. “Now give me your best smile, baby” He winks, and I felt my cheek's warmth up.
Mia POV
“You mean to tell me you still haven't located her residence?” I asked him in a steady voice, but actually steaming deep down.
“Yes, boss” He countered with his head bow.
“F**k!” I shrieked, pushing back the swivel chair I was sitting on before standing up.
I grabbed the vase on the table and angrily flung it against the wall. “I'm sorry, boss”
“Ya! (Hey)” I cried out, pushing my hair from my face. “Don't give me that, Spencer,” I said throatily, walking out the table.
“When did you become so ineffective? Huh!” I asked him, breathlessly. “Now I understand, you prefer not to work for me anymore, right? I asked him, raising his head with my forefinger. “No, boss, I can't visualize myself quit working for you” “Then why the f**k haven't you figured where she's residing?!” I rumbled. He brought his head down, shamefully. “I gave you her workshop address, isn't it?”
“Can't you track her with that?” I questioned, and he brought up his head to talk. “Boss…”
“Find her, Spencer,” I cut in, hoarsely.
“And do not just find her” I delayed and took a few steps away from where he was standing.
“Find her and murder her,” I decreed, sounding gruff. “Done, boss”
Yeah.
I don't even wish to picture them coming back together, so I need to act fast-she should get out of my way. Jung is mine alone, only mine.
