I walked out Into the lounge and took notice of the hug smile on Alvin's face, he dragged me closer and placed a kiss on both my cheeks.
"What's this for?" I asked  curiously glaring at the decorated room.
Happy birthday miss Tori" he lets out idling to see my reaction, I donned a weak and said, "oh my goodness!! I forgot today was my birthday".
(Smiles) he smiles and handed over a wrapped gift, "here you go!".
I took hold of it and placed it aside, "I'll open it later on", he frowns at my words, when the rest of the workers at the company pushed the door open.
"Happy birthday miss Tori" they all yelled out and wished me a happy birthday.
Suprisely Alvin decides to set tht whole day as a fun one, he seats and watched me chatter away.
After working hours, we both returned home, "good evening everyone one" I said repaying their attention on us.
Jason smile and reciprocates with his word, then David walks out from the kitchen and sewed his eyes on me.
He pins a weak smile and walks away to his bedroom, "please excuse me" I said and walked away after giving him a head count.
I locked myself in the room, somehow I had this urge to speak with David!! Doesn't he that  know today is my birthday? Or his just acting like he doesn't care.
"I'll go speak with him!" Initially that was my plan, but I veered back disapproving the idea, what will he think about me, if I walk to his room and what exactly will I say to him, when he catches me there.
(A sat down back on the bed) this an hour later, a knock on my room door attained my attention, I walked further, pushed the door open and took notice of the same person, I watched to talk with.
"D..David, is that you?" I suprised to see him.
"Y..yes, it is me" he mimicked my tone, wearing a smile, "come with me!!!" He says iddling to hear my response.
"Where are we going too?" I asked, rather he hold me by my hands and dragged me out in my nightwear.
We both strolled out of the house and caught the gardens donned with decorations and a huge sign that reads, "happy birthday, miss trouble".
A cloud of relief covered me the second I found out that, my birthday wasn't forgotten by David, he pulls down a string and fell a bunch of flowers on me, it feels like one of those Indian love story, indeed this is what I wanted, although I do appreciate Alvin's loving gesture back at the office,David has a way of getting to me, I don't want load of expensive gifts, I only need something simple that I could always reflect on anytime my eyes falls on it.
"I know this isn't much but I feel like, a loving romantic dinner, will be okay for you and with a side of a homemade present made by your's truly". (He bows his head, still maintaining the same look.
David and I spent the remaintaing hours chatting at the garden, we had so much to talk about, I never knew David had that side in him.
(Still talking, when alvin walks passed and sighted us from the window placed at the living room.
His squeezed his face at the sight of us together, afterwards walks away conserving the same look.

" well!!! I think it's time for you to go back to your room". Davids says to me.
"Yes!!! Good night david" I retroted back, veered and left him still seated at the garden.
