Azriel flew to my side to fight Lucifer. “Ah, what do you know, it’s Azriel in his new vessel. Did you miss this meat suit?” he mocked Azriel, who wielded his sword, that Nathanael provided for him, towards his brother. I saw Merikh, he was bloody and lying unconscious on the side as Beleth walked away from his body. I stood in the middle of the battlefield. I looked around and everything was in slow motion. My eyes shifted to Collin who used his strength as a vampire to fight off everyone he can and used my shotgun and machete to fight off any monsters left. Azriel fought Lucifer and was given a hand by Uriel. I looked around to find Beleth trying to walk away from it all, while Mr. Roth was ready to leave with him. I got nothing but rage. I didn’t know I’ve fought off different beings who got in my way just to get to those bastards in time. I felt that warm light inside of me, like a ball ready to explode. Everything came rushing back to me. What they did to my parents, to Collin, to Azriel, to Merikh, and what they were supposed to do to the angels. It became fuel to the fire I’ve been holding on inside and now, it’s time to release all those pent-up anger and resentment I’ve had all this time. As I reached Mr. Roth, I placed my hand on his forehead. Before I killed him off, I looked him in the eyes, “this is going to be the very last time I will see and hear from you again. This is for everything you’ve done to me, my family, and Collin.” The light from my hand glowed intensely, it burned the demon that was Mr. Roth in his meat suit. He screamed in pain before my light finishes him. When he dropped to the ground, in my peripheral vision, Beleth was wide-eyed. I shifted my eyes at him and moved closer to him. He was about to use his powers on me until I raised my hand at him. With an invisible force that came from me, I pushed him onto the wall creating some cracks in it. I used my telepathic power to bring him to the middle of the field in the back of the house. He stood up slowly like he was worn out. Then he raises his hands and said some kind of incantation. The ground shook and started cracking. I looked at Beleth, he was smiling at me, eyes glowing white. As the ground splits, the fiery Hell went visible. Some of the monsters and demons were slipping through the cracks, burning their possessed bodies. The angels had their wings to help them fly up to safety. Raphael and Uriel stayed while the others left. Lucifer pushed Azriel aside. He had cuts and bruises all over. “Lucifer! Beleth! Stop this!” Uriel shouted, warning both his brothers. Beleth just laughed, “I am not taking orders from you, Uriel! Not anymore!” Raphael pointed his sword to Lucifer, another angel joined in, and then Nathanael also joined. “Brothers,” Lucifer started, “you know very well that your swords got nothing on me unless it’s –“ “An Archangel sword?” Azriel lifted his sword, showing it off to him, “yeah. I got the memo.” Lucifer’s smile disappeared from his face when Azriel limped to their brothers holding his Archangel Sword. He’s feeling all the rage, his energy is too strong to be ignored. Suddenly, Lucifer lets out a loud growl that none of us anticipated and without any warning, he lunges over to Azriel. Raphael, Uriel, and their brothers tried stopping him but he was too strong, he was able to use all his force to throw his brothers away from him. As he reached Azriel, he placed his hand on his brother’s neck. Lifting him up from the ground, his eyes were glowing red, “you think you’re stronger than me? You think you’re better than me?! You arrogant son of a bitch! I taught you everything you know.” Azriel was choking. He was trying to catch his breath but Lucifer’s grip was getting tighter. “You...didn’t…teach…me…everything…brother,” he tried to say, “because Michael taught me the rest.” He lifted his arm up with his sword in hand, cut his old vessel’s arm. He dropped to the ground as Lucifer screams in pain. Even weak and bloody, Merikh kicked Lucifer’s face making him roll onto the ground trying to stop himself from bleeding. Beleth turned around to see his only ally getting beaten. He lifted his hand, about to telepathically hurt them. What he didn’t realize was I raised my own hand and stopped him from using my powers. I know he’s stronger than me but I had to try. For the sake of the only family I have left. He slowly turned his head towards me, eyes glowing white, and even if his vessel is the closest thing I had to a dad when my real father was missing, I needed to do what’s best for everyone. I was getting teary-eyed at the thought of hurting Eric, but it was no longer him. He’s now being possessed by the most notorious fallen angel, now, king of Hell. He fought me back by throwing me to the ground in front of him. “How dare you!” he screamed at me, “you’re just as much of a monster as I am!” He raised his hand one more time, chanting in Enochian, as he was about to throw that spell or enchantment on me, Collin ran in front. Blocking Beleth’s incantation, taking the downfall for me. “Collin!” I yelled. I crawled towards him only to find him lifeless. I slowly touched his face and cried on his chest. Beleth laughed, “oh you stupid, stupid, stupid boy! What a waste. But look at what you did, Mia. You made him fall for you and now he’s dead. All because of a fucking abomination you really are. I mean, you really shouldn’t even exist. You’re nothing. You lose everyone who gets close to you. Your mom, your dad, Collin, and even Azriel, I mean, you lost his true vessel to Lucifer. Because you’re,” he sighed, ”you’re just this little ant in this place that needs to be crushed.” He raised his hand again and released a bright light, covering my eyes by leaning my head on Collin’s chest. When the light was gone, I lifted my head up and saw that Merikh, Azriel, and the others did the same thing. When I stood up, Beleth’s face turned white, “you…you were supposed to die. How are you still alive?!” I slowly walked towards him, more enraged than ever before. “I almost died a couple of times. I got injured more times than I can count. I got tortured and abused. Your power has nothing on me,” I untucked my wings and raised my hand that’s been giving off a golden glow, “I am a hunter. I am a Nephilim. I am a Fuller!” I blasted the light in me towards Beleth. It was a slow death for him. The light burned his vessel, leading him to fall into the cracks on the ground that he made. I turned around to see Lucifer’s lifeless body laying on the ground with Azriel standing over him, his sword stabbed on his back. Then we hear thunder, I looked up and the rain started pouring. I took a deep breath, and I looked back at Collin’s body. I walked up to him and knelt beside him then I started bawling, “I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry.” Apologizing to him was all I could say. He did a lot for me and all I did was fight him. He was the first person to actually stick around, no questions asked. Whatever happened before, I already forgave him for that. Merikh puts a hand on my shoulder. I looked at him and he was all beaten up, I cried even harder seeing him like that. “It’s okay. You’re okay,” he whispered. I suddenly stopped crying then I looked at Azriel and ran to him, “angels. Angels can heal, right? Like we can counter whatever Beleth did to Collin?” I frantically asked. “Mia, I –“ Azriel cuts himself off, “we can’t –“ I moved to Raphael, “you can do something, right? Please tell me you can?” Raphael just bowed down his head, “I’m sorry, Mia,” he whispered, “but there’s nothing we could do. We’re not God.”
