I don't know but time seems to have stopped at the same time as the world is slowing down. I can only see Jerick's face as he slowly removes the hairs that block the face. I saw his face and suddenly he smile at me. The second time, I felt my heart freeze as I was wondering about him.
"Now it's okay ..." Every time he said these words my heart beat faster for him. He was so gentle and makes my heart feels about how to be in love. I don't have the courage to look at him even more.
"A-Are you okay?" I saw the astonishment on his face and I woke up to my guess. Everything backs to normal and I looked at him with narrowed eyes. But I decided to avoid him.
"Huh?" I said to him.
I saw him laugh, "I said it's done," he smiled at me. So I smiled back at him as well.
Moments later I heard a ringtone ring so I hit Jerick. He even had a fist in his pocket and took his cellphone out of it. He took out his phone, "E-Excuse me ..." he said and stood up then answered the call from his phone.
He walked away from me and I watched him talk on his cellphone, "Who is he talking to?" I wonder. Maybe his girlfriend? He's good-looking and also a good person. Who this person couldn't have a girlfriend? And maybe girls are lurking at him. Since he was an ideal boyfriend to me.
But my eyes widened when I thought it was his girlfriend. And it saddens me to know that. I looked at the emptiness again and gasped. Jerick was my first crush but it seems he was my first heartbroken. The things that I've been worried about have been diverted to Jerick who makes my feelings feel the ecstasy of being in love and heartbroken at the same time. I find it weird but I only let it aside and think positive.
I looked at Jerick again I think he had finished talking on his cellphone smiling to face it. "I-I should go now," he said and the smile never left his lips. No need to bother to question that kind of smile. He was in love, "T-that's okay self. Now you know, that he will be never be yours, even I'm sad to think about it but what can we do if he has already someone in his heart."
I just smiled at him and watched him walk back inside the school. When I saw him enter I lost the smile on my lips and gasped because I thought his girlfriend was looking for him.
I was sad but I let it go, "It's alive," I said.
Moments later I heard applause. "Wow! Are you flirting to Jerick ?!" I heard a voice so I turned my attention to it.
"H-Haidly ?! What are you doing here ?! Have you been here before?" I couldn't believe and I asked her. She approached me and picked up the cellphone.
"This," she showed me her cellphone where I frowned in astonishment.
"Huh? What's up?" I wondered the question at the same time as she picked up her phone and stared at what was on it.
"Someone posted this on our website right now. You and Jerick, flirting together here on rooftop. So I hurried to come here because I'm proud that I could inform you about this. Look ... it's spreading," Haidly said to me. So I scrolled and saw my pictures with Jerick.
These are just recent pictures that surprised me. "H-How could these people be like this?" I ask her as I look at the comment section.
"Wow! This girl is such a *****!"
"Is she flirting with Jerick? Wow, what a cunning woman."
"I wish this woman would die!"
And many more bad comments about me. I don’t know but I grabbed my head and felt pain in it. "This is too much," I said to Haidly, I felt her scold me at the same time she stroked my back to help me.
"It's okay, take a deep breath," she instructed me while stroking my back. I shook her and I grabbed my hair. "I-I don't know what to say! I-I don't if I can relax. My problem is mounting now and annoying," I said in frustration.
"Don't be like that. Take it easy, don't stress anymore," Haidly is trying to comfort me but no matter what she says I am still overwhelmed by negative thoughts that come as a problem to me.
"W-What should I do ?!" I said worriedly to Haidly. I heard nothing from her but she sighed. I looked at her and we just stared.
She couldn't speak and kept her mouth shut as she looked at me anxiously. "Why did this happen? I just finished the problem with Ma'am Michepel and then I'll add it to the website. I'm stress!" I said to her and couldn’t help but say how I feel now.
"If I really catch the one who posted that on the school website. That person will take care of me," I promise. I looked at Haidly and I could see that she was uneasy but when she saw me looking at her she averted her eyes and looked at her again then her concern for me returned.
I try to make her smile and she does the same.
I exhaled in the air as I stood where I stood. "I should go back right now," I said and I looked at Haidly who was still sitting on the floor as she looked up at me.
I held out my hand in hand. "Let's go back," I said and smiled at her.
There is an additional problem that I will consider this life challenge for me. I can't calm myself but I'm trying to overcome it. But when we arrived in the room an unexpected event happened to me.
