Celine recollects Oscar discussing having her in his custody so the contract could be valid. Exposing her initial identity would create great havoc.
“Are you her maid?” Henry questioned with a tight-lipped smile.
“Maid…yes…I used to be her maid” Celine nods quickly. She presses her lips with a huffy smile “Wait till my mum gets better, we would teach you and your spoilt son a lesson.”
“Um! Phew! That's great! You look so much like her that I almost guessed you were her daughter.” Henry chuckles, he quitted when he noticed his jokes only brought a frown to her face.
“Well, I'm heading to my special hideout. I'm a good guy and you can trust me.” Henry winks at her.
The men in black didn't run after them, instead, they watched their hostage go scot-free Henry was so bothered at Bianca's well-being, he couldn't keep his gaze focused on the road.
It's been years since he set his eyes on her and glancing at her in a bad condition made his heartache. He accelerated his vehicle to overcome every vehicle on his way, if he had the chance he would drive in a flash. “How's she faring?” Henry inquired.
“She would be fine in no time. I believe in my mu… ma'am. ” Celine stutters. She finds hiding her relationship with Bianca tougher. Celine heaved a sigh, she rests in the back seat. She finds it hard to trust after Lucas's betrayal but she has no choice but to give trust another trial, she puts the gun on her lap.
Henry's vehicle arrived in a deserted area.
“Why did the car stop moving?” Celine jolts from her resting position, and she stretches her gun to Henry.
“We are at my hideout. You are aware that a gun is without bullets, right?” Henry announced,
“What? …yes…sure” Celine feigned a giggle, she throws the gun aside as she alighted. Henry carried Bianca in his arm, he ran towards a building. Henry forced himself into the wall. Celine's mouth opens, and she also forced herself into the wall. She hissed as she found out the wall was just a holograph.
They appeared in a perfectly organized room.
“Wow,” Celine complimented, but her eyes didn't stop scanning the whole room. Henry laid Bianca on the cushioned chair, he sat so close to her and rests her head on his lap.
Celine rolls her eyes, she sat watching his every move from the corner of her eye.
“Bianca, get up. After all these years, we finally have the time to rekindle our romance.” Henry's sentence pumps guesses in her head.
“Henry? Is he be my…?” Celine whispers. Her eyes widen and her visage fixedly moves to Henry. “No…no” Celine shook off that ridiculous thought from her head.
Henry slides her hair strand away from her squinting eyes. “Uh…she's awake .” Henry celebrated, the smile worn on his face made Bianca smile meekly as she opens her eyes.
“I thought I lost you.” Henry kissed her forehead. She grumbled like a bear that just got out of hibernation. Her yawn was so loud, she sat up, with her eyes locked on his.
“No, you didn't. I've always been right by your side.” Bianca cooed, unblinkingly focused on Henry's lips.
“Mum!” Celine jumps to Bianca. She is glad to see her mother conscious again, she couldn't hide the joy that exploded in her heart.
“Mother?” Henry and Bianca chorused
Celine slightly moves away to have a glimpse of her and her arms were still wrapped around Bianca. Celine brows furrowed as her mouth turned to a grin.
Bianca furrowed her brows. “My love, who is she?” she questions, pushing Celine's arms off her.
Henry turned to Bianca “She's just your maid. She saved our lives.”
“She did? Thanks then. But I don't remember employing anyone as my maid.” Bianca corrected. Her eyes flayed him with affection, she cups his chin in both hands.
“Come, let's go in the bedroom. You need some rest.” Henry said, she followed him into the bedroom. Celine's wide-opened eyes refused to blink, her butt fell to the floor as she stares at them until the distance obscured.
“What?” Her brows raise, as she recollects Oscar discussing the side effects of the drugs he injected in her.
“Memory loss…” Celine made a huffy sigh as she violently runs a hand through her red and white dyed hair.
It's so unfortunate Bianca lost memories of over 20 years, especially the ones she shared with her daughter. Celine mumbles, “I thought everything was over but I was wrong.”
Celine leans on the wall, her heart crushed into pieces. Memories she ever shared with Bianca flashed before her. Celine bites her finger “I can't recognize my father, now my mother doesn't recognize me. Am I an orphan already? Why is this happening?”
Celine looks up, she avoids tears from dropping. Everything seems to be cruel to her. Her shattered heart pounds faster, and she hurled at a corner. “I need to have a word with her, I need to remind her that I'm her only daughter. I can't lose my mum.” Celine whimpers. She stood up, she walks to the bedroom. Celine felt no reason to knock, she barges into the bedroom.
Her eyes balls catching them so close together. Henry pretended like he didn't see her, he continued caressing Bianca's lips with his. “Hey!” Celine shouted.
Henry let's go of Bianca. Bianca faced her with rage “How rude!”
“Intruding my privacy? What's the door for?” Bianca roared. Celine has never seen that look on her mother nor has she been heartbroken by mere words.
“It's to knock. Dummy!”
“Darling, I can't believe I employed this fool. She's so full of herself.” Bianca complains, rolling her eyes skyward.
“Can I have a word with you?” Celine questions. Henry's cell phone rings, and it rang at the right time.
“Give me a second,” Henry asked, he placed a kiss on her forehead before taking a leave. Celine sat on the bed “Mum, I understand what you are going through but this man you so much love is a criminal.”
“I'm not your mum, stop clinging to me and stop trying to seduce my man, or else..” Bianca yelled snapping her fingers...
“Don't you remember a thing? I'm Celine, your only daughter.”
“Gosh! These little girl knows how to pretend just to get a share out of my property. Where's my mum? Huh! Go call Sophia. It's so bad she didn't offer me morning kisses” Bianca questions.
Celine shakes her head, she has no idea how to break the news to her but she has to
“She died years ago,” Celine mumbled.
“What? How? It was just yesterday we argued about a silly issue.”
“Knock out of this, mum! You are scaring me. Why would you call 20 years ago events yesterday? ” Celine whimpers, she grabs Bianca's shoulder and slightly shook her.
