THE BATTLE
*** Eric P.O.V ***
Duke gave me this look saying, spill it out.
“You can’t say anything but Aruda is meeting an Ancient hellhound to fight him.” I said.
Duke’s grip on his drink was tightened.
“I’m going with you.” Duke said standing up.
I stood up angry and shocked.
“No you are Not, I’m not gonna risk my little brother getting killed.” I yelled at him.
Duke stood up his ground.
“I am her protector.” Duke yelled back at Me.
“I’m her MATE!” I yelled with authority this time.
Duke stayed quiet and looked at Me in the eyes.
“She’s facing a fucking ancient hellhound, a demon at that, If you think you can defeat him alone, then you have seriously gone nuts in the head.” Duke said.
I stood still. Duke was right, I may not even stand the chance.
Duke walked up to me and hugged me.
I started crying.
“It’s okay, Aruda’s not going to die ok.” Duke assured me.
Right then, Lilou and Tony walked down the stairs, Tony chasing after Lilou.
“Leave Me alone you creepy animal.” Lilou yelled at Tony as he continued chasing after her.
Lilou quickly rushed out of the door and Tony followed her at a fast pace.
“Now, that’s New.” Duke said as his arm was crossed around Me.
I wiped my tears away from my face.
“I’m still going with Aruda, whether you like it or not..” I said
“Fine, but I’m coming too.” Duke said in a time that says “No Buts” .
I stood up staring at the room.
Duke walked over to the bookshelves and started gathering some books.
Duke smiled at me as her plopped some huge books about demons and ancient hellhound.
“We have a lot to look through for Duncan.” Duke said handing me three of the books.
“I didn’t think about this.” I muttered opening a book containing the tips of hell-hounds and demons.
“Just look for the name Duncan.” Duke said as he began reading. This is gonna be fun…
More than an hour or so later, Duke found some things.
“Found it.” Duke said as he pushed his other books aside.
“Good, let’s check it out.” I said eager to know who this guy called Duncan who planned on taking my MATE was. There was no way I’d even let Duncan even get a chance.
After Reading through the book Duke gave to me about Duncan. Right then it hit me, Why Duncan wanted Aruda so badly.
He was gonna Mate himself to her. If she was connected to him.
That’s why the hybrids was told to get a new mate.
That fucking demon planned on taking MY MATE.
“I’m gonna kill him ! Tear him into pieces.”. I agreed with Grey.
“He wants to Mate himself to Aruda.” I said pissed off.
“Eric calm down your nerves.” Duke assured.
I nodded as I took in a deep breath.
“Think of Aruda.. You can stop him, Aruda is Yours not his okay.” Duke said parting my shoulder.
I did exactly what Duke told me to do.
But, when I imagined how that snitch you f a demon is gonna see My Mate sexy body. It’s makes me Mad.
“Ok, I’m less going to shift and kill everything.” I said pushing my hands through my bangs.
“How can I prevent him from Mating himself to her?” I asked Duke.
“Mate Yourself to her First.” Duke replied.
“Huh.. But, She barely even let me kiss her.” I said.
“Is she abusive?” Duke asked.
“No, she doesn’t do it for power, she just doesn’t understand what love mean.” I answered sadly.
“Then Mark Her.” Duke added.
I froze at that. Why haven’t I done that earlier.
“Lots of werewolves do that to their mates without even asking.” Duke said
“I’m gonna ask her in this.” I said.
“Of course you are, You’re such a gentleman.” Duke said giving me a smirk.
I simply rolled my eyes.
“You should get some rest.” Duke said pointing at me as I yawned.
I nodded.
“Good Night.” I said to Duke who began putting away the books.
“Night, Night.” Duke called out.
I took off a run to my room. Aruda is MINE, I refuse to let some other man be with her.
I slammed my door shut as I collapsed on my bed. I threw my clothes off.
“Aruda, I refuse to let anyone have you but ME.” I said to no one in particular.
“I will do anything for you.” I whispered twisting my ring around.
Turning on my left side, I turned off the lights and closed my eyes to let Sleep take Me.
“Eric, time to wake up you little doggy.” Someone whispered in my ear.
I shot up instantly with a scream and threw my pillow at them.
Tony groaned as the pillow hit and smack on his face. I sat up rubbing my eyes.
“Seriously dude.” I said throwing my hands up in a dramatic way.
“Had to wake you up somehow.” Tony said sticking his hands in his jacket.
I rolled my eyes as I got out of the bed to the bathroom. Took a shower, dressed up and came out.. “I’m leaving, tell Mom and Dad.” I said.
“Going to Aruda?” Tony asked as he brushed his bangs aside.
“Yes, I am.” I replied grabbing my shoes, put it on as I was about to leave.
“Don’t force Aruda into anything.” Tony said then he walked away.
No Forceful Marking.
I ran out of my car and to Aruda’s house without even knocking on the door.
Aruda was sitting at the kitchen table eating Scrambled eggs with Omelet.
“Aruda, I know why Duncan wants You.” I said loudly.
Aruda let out a small scream.
“Don’t ever do that.” Aruda muttered.
“Sorry.” I said sheepishly.
Aruda got you and turned towards Me.
“Why?” Aruda asked.
Walking towards her I said, “He wants to Mate himself to you.” I said clenching my fists in anger.
Aruda simply nodded.
“He won’t do it.” Aruda said.
I grabbed Aruda’s wrists and looked into her eyes.
“Let me Mark you first.” I whispered pushing her hair aside.
Aruda stood still and ridged at what I just said.
I leaned forward and licked her neck.
“It will hurt at first but I promise it’ll feel good later.” I whispered to her hearing.
“Mark Her.” Grey was getting impatient.
I continued licking Aruda’s neck. I could feel her shivering each time I did.
I lengthen my canines to mark her. The second I was about to do it, Aruda pushed me away.
“No, I don’t want it.” Aruda said glaring at me.
I walked towards her.
“Please, it will make me feel better.” I said hugging her to myself.
Aruda pushed me again off her.
“I don’t need it or anything to pay back later on.” Aruda muttered.
I growled at that part.
“You are not paying it back. It means that you are Mine.” I said in a low voice.
Aruda breathed in slowly.
“I am not an object or a thing, I am ME and ME alone.” Aruda said.
“I’m not a dog, but you still gave me a collar and leash.” I said crossing my arms across my chest.
“I thought you would like it.” Aruda said tears brimming in her eyes.
I just made My Mate cry.
“No, no, I do, I’m sorry.” I said hugging her again.
She was so fragile but not ‘So’ . Random things set her off.
“What time are you leaving?” I asked.
“At morning dawn.” Aruda said pushing me away from the hug and going back to her meal.
‘I want to Mark her’. Grey said.
“I know.” I replied mind-linking him.
I walked over to the table and sat down.
Aruda had a few plate. Never understood how girls pack that food away.
Aruda’s eyes flickered to mine.
Putting down her fork she pushed the plates towards Me. ”I ate enough.” Aruda said.
I looked down at the meal.
Guess, I should eat it then.
Picking up the fork, I grabbed a piece and put it in my mouth. I just tasted heaven on earth.
I began devouring it. Aruda simply laughed at me.
Finishing it, I wiped my mouth with a napkin.
“You cook good.” I commented.
“I didn’t cook it, Edgar did.” Aruda said grabbing my plate and putting it in the sink.
“Who’s Edgar?” I asked.
Aruda picked up something and walked back to the table.
In her hands was a small little demon.
He was green in color with white horns and bulge eyes. His hands had webbing on it.
He looked at me.
“This is Edgar, he is a house demon that cooks and do the domestic works, mostly cooks cause I can’t.” Aruda said patting Edgar.
Edgar walked up to me. He grabbed my hand which was smaller than his but he was literally fun sized maybe a feet tall.
Edgar then jumped over to the counter and crawled into a cabinet.
