(mark POV)
when I get outside the first thing I do is look around for my best friend Alex car, that he said he is already outside then I saw it parked not to far from here, so I walk straight to that car but when I get closer to Alex car that is a dodge Challenger color blue with black color stripe disign from front to the back, I can't see him inside there and so I decided to put my things first next to his car then I looked around to see him walking back here from the store and I can see a smoke come from his left hand
this brat didn't change huh? to be honest I still can't believe that we became friends in the end because this best friend of mine is bully at school that everyone scared of and they don't want to get kick out the school if they fight back to him because his a son of principal and a famous lawyer it feels like it was like yesterday...
(flashback)
after finishing my kindergarten school days being a top 1 student in every subject and because of the promise of my teacher she give me a recommendation to this private school that she said and that time I'm with my mom and dad then my two year old sister jasmine
we are in the principal office and the principal at that time is Alex Mom name Alexandera Gonzales that I didn't know at the time meanwhile my parents handing over to the principal the paper of recommendation that came from my kindergarten teacher saying she close to the principal of this school.
the principal make a confused and curious face after heard what my parents said about this teacher is, then when the principal read the recommendation letter she make a surprise look and I see a little bit of tear eye meanwhile reading the letter
after reading the recommendation letter my parents I can see in their face that they worried that I didn't get in because the principal face became serious after reading the letter then put it inside of her tables drawer then looked at my parents and I back and forth about a minute or so then she said
"to be honest I shouldn't be doing this but because the person that gives you that recommendation letter is closed friend of mine before so I can considered it" she said looking at my parents
"for really miss principal?! you not kidding right?" my dad said can't believe that to what he heard the principal said
"OMG my son get in this beautiful private school!! James hold jasmine for me... ahh! Lucas lucky you! you get in this school! I'm so proud of you!! *kiss on my forehead* " my mom said so happy that she give jasmine to dad then hugged me that seating in a wooden chair in between my parents and then she kissed me on the forehead because she is so happy
that make my sleeping little sister to wake up but luckily dad make her fall a sleep back again
"yet to be honest I have I little bit of doubt to what it said on that letter because that friend of mine sometimes exaggerated things to the point that she said that your son is smart for his age but I can't believe that only from she words okey... that why I like your son do test first to see how smart is he is on what level at that, are you okey with that Mr and Mrs Jones?" the principal said that make stop my parents form their happy moments
"is it really necessary ma'am principal? my son is-" my dad said
and I can hear a sounds worried in his words but I stopped him
"that okey for me, I agree to you terms ma'am principal and I like you lovely school anyway so I will do my best get in... so don't worry mom, dad everything will be fine... so when where and what time we going to start this test" I said that make the principal a little bit surprised and confused write on her face hear to I said
"wow that's a first... you can speak properly at that age that a plus then not like my son only now basic words... but anyway to answer your question I like you have the test now after this talk of ours but I can understand if you do it today and so can I schedule when you available then in the week then what do you think little Lucas? is it okey if call you that too?" the principal said smiling looks like she amazing of how I speak properly
to be honest this morning I get this dream of being a smart person but I don't know what is the really meaning behind that dream but by the help of it I have this feel that I can answer the test with easy some how
later the principal stand's up then opened and pick up a folder on the drawer behind her and I see it title say 'grade 4 to 5 test questioner then looked back to us again
"if you okey to do the test right now little Lucas you can follow me to the next room so you can start doing the test already" the principal said then walked out the room
then I followed her saying to my parents to don't worry and just wait there until I came back and when I get inside the room I first saw the thing like a bed in the side, wait a moment is this room feel like a kids bedroom because I can see toy's too
"if you can see this room is for my son when the time he need to wait me finish my work and right now his not here so we going to use this room for the meantime to do the examination, so you can seat here and you can start answering this questioner until you can then if you finish you can just go next door we will wait you there" the principal said leading me a study table in this room
then she put the folder with a things I will be needing to answer the question and then she leave me behind the room after making sure the principal is gone I started answering the question that look easy to me about 2 hours have passed when I finished all the questions then the principal will check the question later she said then we said our goodbye to the principal
Meanwhile i was looking at a place like a garden here and I saw a kids there and by looking at it they bullying this single kid and about 5 kid so rounding this kid then one kid is seating to a rock not to far From that group then this kid suddenly stand up then two of the kids hold the both side of this other kid then this kid looks like they're leader looked at this direction that said something to the other kid then later they take this somewhere then the leader kid and I meet our eyes then he signed that his watching me or something by point his eyes to me back and forth then walked to the direction were they pulled the kid too
Then my parents finished talking to the principal then they call me and we went home, that's how we both Alex and me first meet and we don't know that will be close friend in the future
(flashback end)
Then when Alex get close to me still space out and trying to finish his cigarette But I think he did noticed me standing next to his car right now because when moment he get close to me he get surprised and tried to hide his cigarette to his back but he didn't know I already saw it long time ago
"Lucas... You already here already? Hehe... you wake up early today then oh this thing? it's nothing am not lying or anything hehe" he said with his embarrassed and lying smile of his then accompanied by a downward tilt of his head and a shifting of his gaze to the left and right like looking for something
to be honest he can't look at me right now because I'm glaring at him at this moment and my reason is I hate a the smell of cigarettes smoke and he knows about it and yet here he is still smoking.
"what a surprise Alex I can't believe what I'm seeing right now and dont try to hide it anymore I already saw it when the moment you walking back here" I said to him puting my hand to my pockets
"wait a minute Lucas... please dont snitch me to my parents for smoking again, please I begging you dude I dont wait to break the deal I make with my parents last week ago and I know you know what im talking about right, so please don't snitch me!" he said suddenly begging to me hands together meanwhile his cigarette is still in his hands that make step back away so not smell the smoke from it
"okey, okey stop this unnecessary request off yours just open trunk so I can put my things inside and stay away that cigarette smoke of your's to me I know that you know that I hate the smell of that thing right meanwhile unlock the door already so I can get inside after putting my things then finish or throw that cigarette of yours what ever going to do just finished it I will just wait inside the car" I said starting putting my things to the trunk of his car then walked to passenger seat
meanwhile I was waiting for him I get my phone look at social media sites then I started watching some action animes
