Eliana P.O.V.
“Eliana, come on. Eat!” Manang said. I just nodded, then went to the dining to eat.
“Atenolol?” Shei asked, one of our maids. I quickly snatched my medicine from her and hid it in my pocket "Ma'am, why are you drinking like that, are you sick?” I turned pale at what she said.
I held her hand “Shei, whatever you see don't tell it to others, clearly?” I said it calmly.
“But ma'am--” I interrupted her protest
“Please shei” it also agreed to my request “Hopefully it's all over” I said softly as I lay down on my bed
Andrei P.O.V.
“Good evening manang" Manang just nodded at me, she's mad “Manang, what's our dish?” I put my bag down and removed my neck tie
“Menudo ijo” I was happy to go to the dining room, they immediately prepared my dinner.
“Eat with me, manang” I invited her with a smile
“Just eat ijo” manang refused, “We're going to eat with Eliana” I gasped at what manang said
“Call her and let's eat together” they were surprised by what I said, “Don't get me wrong guys, it's so sad when there's no one to eat with. Mom and dad we're no longer here even my girlfriend, misty, isn't here. And as you have said, Eliana is with you. Well, I don't mind if we take her with us,” I exclaimed.
Manang ordered one of the maids to call Eliana while manang put more plates and extra food.
“Ate Eliana let's eat” she dragged her to call him
“Eliana, come on” manang smiled now unlike before while talking to me. 'manang is so unfair' I said irritatedly in my mind We ate happily while Eliana idly ate. She must be happy to eat,, and we love this food. Favorite, indeed Psh! “Eliana, what's wrong with you? Your plate is empty, but you're still sucking” she was stunned by what manang said.
“I-I'm sorry” she stood up while carrying her plate and entered the kitchen. Just a few minutes later, I was done as well. I was about to get a beer in the fridge when I saw a small skin of medicine on top of it.
Atenolol? What is this?
“Andrei? What are you doing here?” I looked behind me as manang spoke.
“I'm just going to get a beer manang, U-uh manang who's taking atenolol?” I wondered.
“It's not for me, ijo, it's probably for Eliana and I just saw her taking that” huh? I grabbed two beers and went into my room. I picked up my cellphone and search the atenolol.
Atenolol belongs to a group of medicines called beta blockers. It's used to treat high blood pressure and irregular heartbeats (arrhythmia). It can also be used to prevent chest pain caused by angina. If you have high blood pressure, taking atenolol help prevents future heart disease, heart attacks and strokes.
'What?' can also with anxiety and depression? Is it possible that one of them she has? I removed her from my mind and resumed my drinking. 'Atenolol' “What the heck?” and burst.
After drinking that damn two beers, I slept.
“Andrei, I'm going to miss you”
“Daddy, I hope I'm with you” Said a child? I looked at the child and I almost jumped when I saw its face. I am seeing my baby version of myself.
“We're going to leave your daddy, mommy, and I love you” and the light swallowed. What does that dream mean? It was past nine when I woke up. Tsk! I'm late. When I got down, I could see the chaos in the living room.
“What's going on here?” my baritone question. Did they ignore me and focused on Eliana? I looked closely at Eliana and was shocked when I noticed that her nose was bleeding.
“Oh God, this child's nose doesn't stop bleeding” manang was confused
“M-manang, it's fine, I'm just going up to my r-room” When she stood up, she suddenly fell on the sofa.
“How are you feeling, Eliana?” manang asked worriedly
“I'm just dizzy, I'll take care of myself”
“Don't force her, she can take care of herself” I whispered. Eliana looked at me softly.
“I'm fine, thanked you” then I passed
“That kid” manang sighed heavily
“Leave her alone. She can do it manang” I uttered.
The other maids just bowed “I can't, Eliana is sick, and it might get worse” then Eliana followed upstairs followed by the other maids. I just sighed and went straight to the dining room and took care of myself
“Cancel all my appointments today Sara” I said to my secretary
“Noted sir” I entered my office and began to read the contracts laid out on my desk.
“Babeeee” I glanced at the woman who had just entered my office.
I greeted her with my wide hug “I missed you” and kissed her on the face
“I missed you too babe” she said softly
“Let's date” his smile widened at what I said. We decided to go to Star City, thankfully,, and I wasn’t in office attire “Babe let's eat dinner” then I was pulled into a restaurant.
“I-it's so y-yummy babe” she said smiling as she savored the food she ordered
“don't talk, your mouth is full” I answered. After we dated, I took her to her condo.
“Ijo , have a dinner!” I shook my head.
“I ate with my girlfriend” honestly answered. She didn't talk to me anymore and focused on Eliana. Eliana is being an idiot again, she doesn't seem to be on her own. As always.
