Chapter 21
Alex ended up in the streets after all his random turns. The police was everywhere, as if they were waiting for someone.
The halloween festival had been disturbed and the residents of the estate had been gathered at a spot for safety with DO NOT CROSS tapes around them.
Sighting Alex, detective Reynolds ordered, "Hey! Hey! Stop! In the name of the law."
Alex shot into the sky impatiently, causing distraction and fear as he returned through the iron fence, to a garden.
The gathered residents squealed and dispersed in every direction, making the streets of the estate a battleground.
As he made it through the bushes, a smile made it up his lips.
All his endless fights made him forget about halloween; a festival where most people wore masks!
Andrew had gotten the bad luck this time.

Andrew looked behind the wall he leaned on and found his brother.
He shivered in fright and worry.
Daniella panted hard right beside him, watching Angus and Davis sweat in fatigue.
Loading his revolver,Andrew seethed,"If we make it out alive, I would burn every darn mask in Texas."
Angus threw Dani a rifle and retrieved a pistol,"I believe you've learned how to use it."
Nodding,Daniella moved towards the door.
Davis sighed and hissed under his breath,"Curse myself for giving birth to that monster."
Smirking, Andrew spat,"Oh please,you brought us into this sick mess."
Davis shaped a retort when they all heard a gunshot; Daniella shot at Thomas Becker's waist.
Grimacing, Angus faced Andrew with a huge sigh,"Okay. How long have you been with Andrew Dani."
Andrew responded with a chuckle and led the way to the fighting pit.
Dani eyed Thomas moan on the floor and glanced away.
Andrew tried his best to avoid his brother. Taking a look at it,he found out he could not do it. Stealing a moment to glower at this masked thing, he found himself going weak at the knees. He knew he needed to get rid of this fear soon enough.
A cop since the twentieth century, Davis Earl rolled and crouched,ducked and shot, striving to shoot but not kill.
Angus,well, a retired gamer for money had a beautiful aim for shots, anything for his sister.
Fixing his gun into his belt,Andrew dogged a shot from Donald Freeman.
Donald threw his gun and marched to Andrew.
Wrong choice, Andrew thought.
Catching his fist,he twisted his arm and  stabbed him with his elbow.
Andrew flung him over the shoulder and seized his gun,using it to hit Cruise Marrosi on the face.
Remembering his treatment to Dani,he pulled him up from the floor with a grasp of his collar.
A voice meters away stopped his sadistic thoughts,"Drop him Andrew,face me!"
Andrew stared up at Alex and pushed Cruise away. Retrieving his revolver from his belt,he walked slowly to Alex,only stopping at his next action.
Suddenly,Alex pulled out a black mask and put it on his face,"How about now?"
Standing still,Andrew tilted his head in confusion. Who told Alex about his fear? Oh, his idiot of a brother.
Others emerged from around him,masks on their faces,with Andrew in the center.
Looking around, his breathing increased and he took some steps back. Digging his hands through his dark hair,he shook his head and marched through the door at the only free part.
He grabbed Dani's hand and ran out.
Tilting his head,Alex chuckled and walked after him.

Andrew and Daniella emerged unto the wild and noisy streets. Panicking residents of the estate were here and there. The police were all scattered around,ordering everyone to get back to the gathering all in vain. He noticed friends of his with weapons all over the area, fighting against those from his brother's side. The estate was a mess.
One cop started towards them. Andrew turned and noticed it was Carter,his worst one.
The cop screamed,"Hey! You two, stop!"
They both found him at their tails, Alex and his clan a few feet behind.
Returning his gaze to his path, Andrew knocked into a boy dressed in a pumpkin mask.
He stopped and stepped back, screaming into the noise. Halloween! His worst holiday.
Dani clutched his shoulders and held up his face,"Come on please! They are after us Andrew!"
Andrew walked on, staggering and flinching at the sight of every resident in a mask until they reached a turn,a lonely lain.
He slid against a wall and sat on the ground, gulping his misery in.
Dani pitied him, standing to check for those after them.
When she did not see any,she bent over and hugged Andrew,"It's okay Andrew. It's over now."
A voice announced from behind them,"Stop lying to him." Alex!
Dani rushed to her feet in Andrew's defence. He however,buried his head in frustration.
With everyone wearing a mask,it was difficult to differentiate one from the other.
However, remembering his stature, she faced Simon,"Can you all stop it. You are scaring him."
Simon shrugged nonchalantly,"That's the point, isn't it?"
Dani shot back,"He's your brother you imbecile!"
"I don't think he knows that,"Simon stated and faced Andrew,"do you know that Andrew?"
When Andrew glanced at him,he continued,"Infact,he is a selfish, arrogant kid. Or maybe, it's because he owns the brewery that's meant to be under my name,"he smirked knowingly and ended,"Even though he is insane."
Andrew frowned deeply. So that's the point of the entire rivalry,the Starter's breweries.
Simon approached them and soliloquized,"I'm the first son of that family. Guess what I got on my eighteenth birthday. A good old-fashioned Maserati. But guess what he got. The papers showing his ownership of the biggest breweries in Texas. I nodded,that was fine. However soon after he took my inheritance,he took my Ashley,all I had left. He... Took... Ashley from me."
Dani sniffed,still lost in the whole realization,"So you killed her?"
Simon grinned,"Why wouldn't I. That cheap whore." When he noticed a frown creep up his brother's brows,he pushed on,"Then Andrew began drugs and went hecking crazy. I saw my ticket to the breweries then. No father would want his insane son to manage that big empire. But Dad still thought that insane Andrew here was a better manager than the sane Simon."
Andrew mumbled from where he sat,"So you vowed that I would die an addict. You gave me those drugs saying they would help me get over Ashley. You made me take them then killed every single person I cared about to make sure I died taking them."
Simon huffed but kept quiet.
Alex however,answered,"Although things did not work out that quickly . So we aimed at you. Him,because of his deprival. Me, because of the secret you knew."
Ignoring Alex, Andrew faced Simon again,"But you are my brother."
Rolling his eyes, Simon pushed Dani aside and pulled Andrew up by the collar,"Wasn't I your brother when you left me with nothing? All you ever cared about was yourself. You still do."
He got Andrew's belly with a fist,"But don't worry. As always,I have a solution to everything; a fair way of getting them back"
Alex gripped Dani's wrist and began pulling her away. Simon made Donald and Blaze hold Andrew still as he hit him severally with his fists.
Daniella yelled and budged but the noise disguised everything.
Reaching his home, he pushed her in and locked the door,"Let's have fun."
Taking off his mask,he showcased his green-eyed smile.
Daniella turned to the window. The streets were filled with noise of gunshots from both the policemen and the crazy males.
Returning her gaze to Alex, she saw him take off his jacket,"What's your aim?"
He pushed her unto the sofa and crouched above her,"To continue from where we stopped last time sweetie. Where were we?"
Daniella eyed the being before her and announced,"I remember. We stopped at when I gave you a hook across the face."
Then she hit Alex with her fist. For the second time!
Alex faced her and smirked in admiration. Grabbing her jaw,he pinned her to the wall,"This was our next move huh?"
Struggling with him until she narrowly left his possession,she ran into his basement and locked herself in. He followed.
Banging on the door, angry and determined,he spat,"Open the damn door Daniella. I will still get in."
Daniella gasped and closed her eyes. Then, she made up her mind.
