Chapter 12|His Effort
AYISHA'S POV
"Don't be too concerned about Ayisha. "I know she's a brave lady."
It sounded like Xander's voice, and I wondered where I was and what had happened to me.
"I adore Ayisha, Xan, which is why I'm so concerned about her."
Why are they here, and why is Jannah crying again? I want to know everything.
I opened my eyes slowly and adjusted my vision to the light. I noticed that the walls and ceiling were all white. What brought me here to the clinic? I moved my hand, but it was being held by someone.
"Ayisha! Thank you, God! You've woken up! " She sobbed as she moved closer to me.
"How do you feel, Ayisha?"
When I heard Xander speak, I turned to my right.
Jannah and I exchanged a smile.
"What are you up to? I'm still alive! Hahaha! What's the source of your concern? I'm all right."
Seriously, I had no idea so many people still cared about me. I thought no one loved me, but I was mistaken because they were only there to sympathize with me. Time is a ruse because I don't know how long I'll be in this world.
"Don't cry, Sha; it's bad for you."
Jannah wiped the tears from both of my cheeks. I had no idea that my tears were falling on their own.
Why am I so emotional? I was never like this before. I looked at Jannah and took her hand in mine.
"Thank you so much, Jannah," I said, wiping away my tears with one hand.
"Thank you for always being there for me," I sobbed to her.
Jannah approached me slowly and assisted me in sitting. Xander also pitched in.
Jannah hugged me tightly, "I don't want anything bad to happen to you, Sha. I love you." I eventually heard her sniffing.
"Oh, what made you cry? I'm not yet dead! Hahahaha!"
I joked with her about lightening the energy around because it was too heavy, and then I hugged Jannah again and let my tears flow down my cheeks towards her shoulder.
Later, the Nurse arrived. "Ma'am, I'll check your vital signs."
Jannah let go of my hand and approached Xander. Ayeeehh! These two are fantastic. Xander's eyes show that he likes my cousin as well. Jannah's good fortune. Her boyfriend will be thoughtful and caring.
"Ma'am, your heart rate has returned to normal. My only piece of advice is to take your maintenance medication and avoid stress, which is one of the things that will aggravate your heart condition. Let's not get to the point where we need a heart transplant. The more your condition deteriorates, the more expensive a heart transplant will be. So let us always be cautious, okay?"
I simply smiled at the Nurse in order to put her at ease.
She reached into her pocket and handed me something.
"This is medicine you must purchase in order to take." I took the prescription and examined it.
This is the same medicine Jannah bought for me when I was in the hospital. I still have a lot of medicine at home, so I don't have to go out and buy it.
"Thank you, Nurse; may I go now?" She simply nodded in agreement.
The Nurse walked away, and I slowly stood up. Jannah and Xander quickly came to my aid when they saw me.
"Jannah and Xander, thank you so much."
Jannah took our bags and we were leaving the clinic when I finally stood up.
"No worries, Ayisha," I heard Xander say behind me, and next to me was Jannah, who was still walking beside me.
"Let me go, please. I can now walk."
"Please let me do this, Sha; you might collapse again later." She's really caring and sweet.
When we got to the door it was Xander who opened it. I closed my eyes when the fresh air from outside greeted me. It feels so good. I also felt that Jannah had left me and I could also hear that they had already walked ahead of me.
I still stood outside the door with my eyes closed. I smelled the breeze first. Inhale. Exhale. Light feeling. It's like I don't feel anything. Very light in mood.
I was like that for a few minutes until I heard guitar strumming. Luh! What occurred? Who is that coming from? I slowly opened my eyes to see the students forming a line on their way to the clinic. They were holding letters with writing on them. 'I'M SO SORRY, AYISHA.' They were still smiling as they held the letters.
I can only think of one person who is responsible for me. it's...Kian?! I noticed a group of students behind the students who were holding the letter. The sound of the guitar can still be heard. The students gradually dispersed, and the only one standing in the center was a man holding a guitar.
He was smiling at me, and his eyes were telling me something.
"Ayiehhh!! Kyaaahhhhh! Both of them are so perfect!" exclaimed the students.
"Kyaaaahhhhh!! God! I'm going to pass out from the thrill!" exclaimed a student next to him.
They screamed even louder as the man approached me slowly. I was surprised and pleased because I hadn't expected this. For both of us, time seemed to stand still. Everything seemed to move slowly until Kian appeared in front of me.
"I sincerely apologize for everything I've done to you. Allow me to apologize by singing to you, and I hope you will forgive me. This is the first time I've done this to a woman." He then began to strum the guitar.

I'm not sure what I'm feeling. My tears flowed freely as a result of my joy. I didn't think Kian would do something like this. Kian I knew was arrogant and full of himself, but this Kian was different.

"Forgive him, Ayisha!!" yelled and screamed the students. What they do makes me smile. Will I ever forgive him?
"PLEASE FORGIVE HIM! PLEASE FORGIVE HIM! PLEASE FORGIVE HIM! " The students are insane! It used to be like a cheerleading squad, with shouting and screaming.
I looked at Kian. His eyes were serious, unlike the Kian I knew. I hope he will always be like this. He went out of his way to make me forgive him, even scolding my classmates for it. Touching and overwhelming.

With a smile, I looked at Kian. Especially when he emphasized the song's final line. Because my love is hidden in theirs. Is it true that he adores me? But he wouldn't do it to a woman unless he loves me. But I'm not going to hope because things are already difficult. He has done enough to earn my forgiveness.
""I forgive you, Kian, and I hope you don't do it again," I said, and the students screamed and shouted once more.
"Kyahhhhh!! Ayisha is extremely fortunate! "

Hahaha! I simply laugh at them. When you forgive someone, it feels good. I'm feeling so light and happy right now. Despite the suffering, the reward was pleasure. I hope this trend continues.
Kian slowly turned his back on me and handed Jannah a bouquet of white roses from Xander and a box from a student. Kian took the rose and a box and turned to face me once more. Because of his efforts, my world has come to a halt again.
"I apologize once more, Ayisha. Thank you for accepting my peace offering."
He gave me my favorite flowers and a box of chocolates; how did he know the white rose was my favorite?
"Thank you very much, Kian. I had no idea you could do this to me. Is this another prank?"
"Ayisha, I'm serious, and it's not a joke. I sincerely apologize for everything."
I just smiled at Kian because I couldn't think of anything else to say. I was too taken aback and surprised by what he did.
"Oh, that's it! You're welcome, but don't make my cousin cry or I'll beat you up!"
When Jannah appeared behind Kian with Xander, we all looked at each other.
"Hahaha! Cousin, you ruined our special moment. Hahahah! " I scolded Jannah jokingly.
"Oh well, Nah," said Xander.
When we saw Jannah frowning, we all burst out laughing, including Kian.
"Answer him now." I poked Jannah's side and noticed that her face was red.
"Why? Is he flirting me? " She laughed as she asked Xander.
The outside of the clinic was filled with laughter, and even the Nurse was smiling as she looked at us.
"Guys! Because you assisted me in developing this strategy! I'm going to set you all free. Simply place an order from the Canteen and I'll pay!" Kian addressed the entire class.
"Kyahhhh!! Prince Kian will free us!!"
"Let's go!!
We just laughed at the students who were leading us to the Canteen. Kian had also sent the Nurse to the Canteen, leaving just the four of us.
"How can that be, come on, I'm hungry for those two's drama!"
Jannah smiled as she turned to face Kian and me.
Let's go," Xander said, taking Jannah's hand in his.
"What? What you're doing is humiliating, Xander; perhaps someone else will notice." Jannah defied Xander.
Hahahaha! They obviously like each other.
"Come on, Sha," Kian said.
Kian was about to take my hand in his, but I preferred to walk casually.
I took another sniff of the white rose I was holding. Hmmmm... The scent...as it's enticing as Kian's perfume. Maybe he sprayed it with perfume.
I just smiled inwardly at what Kian had done for me. I hope it continues and that no more tears are shed. I hope Kian's generosity continues.
