The ten of them, chosen warriors to venture into Kuraken and bring in the seer, all walked silently through the middle tunnel they had chosen after passing through the Wendigoes they had encountered. At intervals, they all glanced at Butcher. In general, he wasn't just all big and monstrous but his speed could not be reckoned with. They were beginning to like him but then, he couldn't speak because of the mask on his face. No vampire was as big as him, yet his powers were captivating, who really is butcher? They got to an intersection and there was yet another puzzle to face. Which way would they take? Now all eyes' were on the general who would once again make another decision and even hope there was no creature around to stop them. General Michel fell on his knees and dipped his hands into the black sand and inhaled it and his eyes turned white and the black Sands started emitting smoke. "Follow me" He said gruffly and broke into a jog and everyone followed. They passed the right side of the intersected tunnel. Immediately they stepped into it, they suddenly felt the zeal to run back in fear. No doubt, this cave had immense radiation of evil lurking around and the thick darkness of terror could be cut with a knife. Suddenly a flick of light flashed on the wall and illuminated the tunnel. This sudden strange light made everyone halt on their tracks. The lights started flickering on its walls till everyone was filled with lights. "Shit..." Scott gasped as he saw what sent fear down his spine, not the strange lights that had suddenly come on, but what others too just saw that made them move back in shock. Before them were numerous body parts, cut in different sizes. Numerous heads were littered on the ground. One thing spectacular about this scene was that these bodies were just battered and butchered. General Michel advanced and squatted beside one of the heads dripping with blood and he sighed. Everyone watched keenly as General Michel shook slightly and there, they noticed some tears falling off his face as he held the head in his palm. "He's dead... Nexus was a good man, my best friend. The best spy of the kingdom..." General Michel echoed and he dropped his head, then cleaned his eyes while he stood up to face the rest of the team. "The bodies you see here are what remains of the best spies of the Kingdom, if they are dead, that only means one thing." he paused as he looked at their fearful faces... They just didn't know what they were up against. "They know we are here and after leaving this tunnel, it would be us against an entire army." "Then let's go back!" Cumara, one of the chosen, echoed in fright and there were few murmurs of approval. "It's better to fight and die together than go back in shame and die even before you get out of the tunnel" Commander Michel stated, his voice cracked after seeing his friend's body littered but Cumara was non relenting. "The will to survive is greater than dying together General... I am going back" He replied and faced back, looking at the others. "Who else is coming with me!?" He bellowed. McCall, Eulone, Jazer and Nara came forth beside him, their faces showing their fears and they had swam in the ocean of their fears. Scott wanted to talk but then, Authur held him and then he looked pitifully at General Michel. If they were going to die, they would die fighting together. General Michel knew better than to stop them, they didn't know what awaits them at the entrance of the tunnel. He knew how Ruthless Lord Kiran was... He had allowed them to get deeper into the tunnel before he had made his move and they had fallen right into his trap. Nonetheless, those men had been destined to die, miserably. "Go and don't ever come running back" He finalized and the cowards went running back to where they came from. Now the rest, General Michel, Authur, Travis, Scott and Butcher all remained. General Michel all looked at them with pride, now, no further prodding, they all knew what they were into and he breathed out. "We fight together, we die together, Your will and determination to survive should be strong... With some miracle, we might make it back because the shit Is about to get real" He said and there was a cheer of approval from the rest, then he proceeded towards them and stared hard at them. "It's today your skills will be put to test, be your best and do whatever tricks you have to survive..." He said and suddenly faced back to where the tunnel leads. Everyone followed as they headed to where their fate ended. . . . . [Outside the Tunnel] Lord Kiran sat on a black Rocky throne which had thick torns protruding from it, but sitting on it and feeling pains only made him grin in enjoyment. He enjoyed every bit of it. Behind him was his vast army of wendigoes who stood with animalistic growls escaping their lips. They were on a plain field of black sands, the only thing standing was the rock-like cave that stood gigantic and the entrance were numerous skulls attached to the wall and the skeletal arms too. One thing that still remained a mystery was the actual place where Lord Kiran and his army lived. Throughout the entire land, there were no houses or buildings except for the gigantic cave they were all facing, awaiting their prey.. Lord Kiran grinned, after he had heard of the prophecy of Nerita, he had quickly used his intellectual Prowess to make a strategy and now, he had successfully ambushed the supposed blood of the legendary Hybrid. Getting to know who he was and drinking his blood made him happier than ever. Even the thought made him hold firm to the thorny handle of his throne and blood flowed from his wounds. Soon, he smelt the unfamiliar auras, yet they seemed familiar coming from the cave, among these auras was a different aura, one that reeked of power yet another different one hit him again and he frowned in confusion. He could smell the aura of a demon and also the aura of a titan emitting from the cave. Titans as well as demons were rare. The titans that existed were killed off by the legendary hybrid of chaos. Soon, he saw Appolyon soldiers stepping out of the cave, the General no doubt and one, two other vampires followed but then, the rare auras came out too. A young green haired boy with green eyes, no doubt was the demon. But beside him was the extremely huge creature with a mask covering his face and no doubt, a titan. "I see you have come for Nerita... Words travel faster than I thought..." He began and his eyes couldn't leave the demon child and the titan. No doubt, the blood of the legendary hybrid was the demon but then, a titan was standing in front of him. "You have failed the orders of the Supreme one one too many times but your punishment has been overlooked. Redeem yourself by handing us the Seer of Prophecy" General Michel said blankly while he hoped the strings he pulled to buy them time would pave way. Lord Kiran grinned and contemplated the offer. He flicked his thumbs and two wendigoes came out of the army with Nerita in their captivity. "Hand her over!" General Michel stated, now this was the time whatever lord Kiran would say would change everything. He flicked his thumbs and Nerita was released and the woman ran quickly to their side. General Michel glanced back, that was easier than he had thought and he blinked at his men to prepare to leave. "Your cooperation is indeed appreciated..." General Michel said and made to leave. "Here is a gift of appreciation for the mercy Supreme One has shown on us" Lord Kiran said and a wendigo came out and threw four heads at the team. Scott went numb, they were the heads of McCall, Eulone, Jazer and Nara... They might have ran away in fear but now killing them mercilessly was something he wouldn't cope with. His hands trembled in anger. "They didn't deserve to die..." He mumbled and General Michel turned his face to him. "Scott... Don't" He said but Scott was already red in anger and he slowly stepped out. "They were all afraid but they didn't deserve to be killed!" his voice came out harder this time around. "They were my friends!!!" He blurted out and this time, he cried out.. The Dark cloud flashed with lightning to the surprise of everyone. "You will surely pay for this!!!" He bellowed and in a flash, he had the head of the wendigo who had thrown the heads of his friends at him in his hand. The wendigos moved back in fear and Lord Kiran grinned evilly. "The blood of the legendary Hybrid... How nice to have your head peeled to make my goblet" He stayed with an evil chuckle and he roared. The wendigoes roared, and charged with inhumane speed at Scott. But Butcher's roar that sent the black sands trembling with force halted the army,he wouldn't wait for them and at breathtaking speed, he disappeared and broke through the ranks of the enemies, ripping them apart like they were nothing. He circled them like a tornado wrecking his enemies and no one seemed worthy before his eyes. He was a Titan, the last of them and he was a one man army... A killing machine who was born to destroy. General Michel who wouldn't wait to be left behind charged and junker in the air, but this time, two wings sprouted from his back and he flapped them and swooped down at the army, slashing them down expertly and ripping them apart. Authur and Travis zoomed in, each of them couldn't take down a wendigo but together they worked in perfection and ripped the wendigos apart. Lord Kiran frowned, he didn't like the way a few soldiers were wrecking his army like nothing and he glanced at Nerita only to see her mischievous look glaring at him. He stood up from the throne and his body healed instantly. One thing these puny ants didn't know about him was his special ability as an immortal vampire. He vanished and appeared behind Scott who was trembling in fury and with just a touch, they both teleported and they appeared on the outskirts of the battle. Still, Scott didn't make a move and that surprised Lord Kiran but just a move, he would finish off the blood of the legendary hybrid. He clenched his fist and a step after the other, he ran with a roar and aimed a punch on his head and at the last moment, a figure appeared before him and held his punch midway. "Maybe you should let him mourn his friends" The figure said huskily. Lord Kiran stood still and slowly withdrew his arm as he saw the figure. From his aura, this figure was no ordinary creature, but a very powerful demon. "Who are you?" He asked. "I am just an older brother who would protect his brother in sorrowful times" The figure replied and the sky thundered, revealing Neville's cold face.
