"It has been years, Fifteen years is not a joke, I am sure even when she remembers someone like me, she will always feel irritated, it is possible for her to have forgotten me, after all, I never believed her when she needed me the most"
"Jack, sometimes, we need to think in a positive way, who knows if she must have been looking for you too, just assume everything will be fine when you meet her for the first time in fifteen years"

Tho the ball is in your court but then, if you decide to forget her and everything related to the incident claiming you want to move on just because you are doubting she must have forgotten you, what about your nightmares? How do you intend to sleep normally? Or have you forgotten that for if you do not find her and ask for her forgiveness, the past will keep haunting you, you need to find her and find peace, okay?".

"I have a suggestion for you"
"And what is that?"
"Why do you not assume a much simpler life for yourself when you meet and gradually, you both will work things out but this suggestion only applies if she is not married or without kids".
"Much simpler life as how?"
"You will need to do everything in a simple manner, you will not want her to meet you as a billionaire son but as a simple person, you can even choose a much simpler profession like being a laundryman or something just to fit in, that should be easier"
"Do you think it will work?"
"Of course it should, why would it not work"
"But then, what if she is married with kids, what do I do because I will get heartbroken" He muttered even though he did not wish for something like that to happen.
"Well, that means you guys are not destined to be together, all you have to do is ask for her forgiveness and move on, it will hurt anyway but that is the least you can do for yourself but if something like that happens, who will be your plan B, is it, Betty?"
"Betty? Hell no, I thought I once told you that is not possible, always looking for trouble at every slightest provocation, too clingy and all, if not because of Dad's company and investments, I will not bother myself if at all I meet Naomi later"
"You need to pity the old man anyway"
Just then, his phone beeped, a message has popped in, he thought.
"Get your ass here right now".
"Now, this is getting suspicious" He muttered.
" Is there anything you are not telling me?"
"It is nothing much," He replied still staring at his screen.
Why will mom send this type of message? This is not her style of writing, is someone messing with her or her phone? Maybe she is the one but what does she want this time around? Why do I feel like my mom does not text like this? He thought sighting again.
"Buddy, I need to go, I guess I will see you later"
" So fast? Do you have something to do at home? I will be lonely'" He whined.
"What is I did not come here in the first instance, would you still not be alone in your lonely world and besides I have spent almost four hours if not more than that, you are asking me so fast, instead of you to be happy that I came to spend time with you"
"Point of correction, you did not come to spend time with me, you came over because you were not yourself and you needed help and besides, I only said that to brighten up your mood"
"Whatever, I still came over and I shared something personal with you, it is still like coming to visit you but promise me something"
" Promise you will not betray me like my friends".
"Why are you talking like this? Are you just knowing me for the first time? We have been friends since God knows when and you are suddenly saying this? I am suspicious of you, Jack"
" I am sorry, I just feel uneasy".
"More reasons you should find Naomi as soon as possible"
" Yeah"
"But why are you going home now? There must be a reason I guess"
"I got a suspicious text from my mom,"
"How is it suspicious?"
"My mom speaks to me in a semi-formal way when she sends a text message but now I am seeing something else," He thought frowning.
Dave continued staring at him absentmindedly until Jack was forced to call out his name.
"What?"
"Jack, you have lost your smile, you need to smile more often, everything will be fine, you will get wrinkles if you do not smile," he said as they left for the direction of where his car was parked.
"I should smile in this situation or what? That is utter nonsense"
"If you follow my advise, good for you"
"Whatever"
" We have not concluded the matter you know?"
"Naomi's matter? How?"
"We have not talked about how we will find her for you to be yourself, I am sick and tired of you frowning"
"Me frowning should be the least of your concern right now but I will come over when next I am less busy"
