Brianna's POV
I don't really understand what that guy was trying to tell me yesterday.
"Does he think it's easy to just come up with that I'm pregnant whereas I'm not pregnant" I thought.
I still can't find anything useful in what he said.
What if I lie to the prince that am pregnant and he didn't accept it or what if he marries me and the queen does not like me how am I going to be so close to her.
"Is it really possible?? Will the plan really work?" I thought.
"You were assigned to sweep the hallway today" I heard from one of the maids and drifted out of my thoughts.
"Ok" I said coldly.
"Why are you always moody, have never seen you happy before ever since you started working here" the lady turned and said.
"And why is that your business??" I said angrily and walked out of her so I could go and carry out the works assigned for me.
Edisons's POV
I had to wait for the prince and Queen to leave the palace before I went back to the room.
When I walked back to the room to share the good news to the prince, I was shocked when I realized that the prince was on the floor crying... and everywhere in the room were scattered.
I know he is in so much pain and that is the reason why I want to try all my possible best to make him happy even though I'm only assigned to keep an eye on him.I feel pity for him.
"But how can a man be blind since but??" I thought as I tried helping him to sit back.
I watched tears run down his eyes,I tried wiping the tears for him when tears pricked out of my eyes also.
"Edison I thought you left me" he said and I was shocked.
"How can I leave him?? I will never leave him no matter what,I will always be by his side no matter how and I promise to always make him happy even though he is blind" I thought as I wiped my own tears.
I know if I should take him out of this palace he will be at least happy, because I hate seeing him crying.
I know he felt so heartbroken when I told him that there is a problem.
"Edison, please I don't care!! I don't care about what the guards or maids in the palace might think... please just take me out of this hell called room and I promise that nothing will happen to you" he said amidst tears.
"Please stop crying!!" I said and tried to console him and I hugged him.
I disengaged from the hug and helped him to stood up then take him to the bathroom,I removed his clothes then helped him to brush his teeths and bathed for him.after I was done bathing for him...I helped him back to the room and wiped his body with a towel and applied cream on his body...I searched his wardrobes for a clothes but all the clothes there are old and they are no longer his size of clothes.
I ransacked the wardrobe before I finally found a little better clothes for him to wear. After that I wore his shoe for him and gave him his walking stick. Afterwards I helped him and we both walked out of the room.
"I don't care if anyone sees us,I'm ready to make him happy no matter what" I thought as we both walked out of the room my heart was beating rapidly because I knew the consequences.
Immediately we stepped out of the room there were few maids outside and luckily for me they didn't observe me.
The guards that were assigned to guard the room outside were also nowhere to be found...and they are the only people that know that there is someone in the room.
"Omg!! Who is that handsome young man" I heard as one maid ran towards us from afar after we had walked a little bit far from where his room is located.
"Get out!!" I said when she got to us and immediately he got to us she got to us she opened her mouth widely.
"Holly molly!! He is blind??" She said,
"I said get out of here this minute" I said angrily because she was delaying us already with her silly talks…
"Who knows if the queen or prince might come soon and see us?" I thought and trembled.
"Oh!! My God!! His lips are so cute and I know that his lips will be soft...why Is he blind?? Had it been that he is not blind I would have asked him to marry me this minute" she said.
I hissed and held the prince hand so well and walked out of her stupid daydreaming drama angrily.
"Edison!! Hope we are not caught yet??" He asked.
"No...my p…." I wanted to say something but I kept mute immediately.
"No!! No!!" I said.
It took us a while before we finally got to the gate and I don't really care anymore, became all the maids and guards that we passed through them were just staring at us and I could hear side talks and I know so many thoughts would be running through their minds and they might be thinking who he is.The ladies were just drooling all over him…. and some wants to pass out all because of him the only reason why they can't come and meet him so they could flirt with him is because he is blind.
We got to the gate and met the gatekeeper.
"Who is he?? And how did he enter this palace??" The old man asked.
"Oooh!! He is my brother and he came visiting" I stammered and said.
"A blind man??" He asked.
And I kept mute.
"How did he enter the palace, because I have been here for a while now and I haven't seen any blind man that passes here," he said.
"Oh my God!! This old man can ask questions...what will I say now??" I thought angrily.
"He…..he…" I was trying to lie when he interrupted me and screamed and held his tummy then pinched me.
"Oh goodness!! His tummy, please I have to take him home now for treatments" I said immediately and the man didn't hesitate before he opened the door for us instantly.
Afterwards,we walked out of the palace.
"Wow,how did you come up with such lies??" I asked immediately as we got out of the palace.
"I know you don't know what else to say again,so I decided to save you before we got caught," he said.
"How?? How did you know??" I asked curiously" as we were walking.
"Forget about it and let's focus on how to leave the palace premises quickly before we get caught" he said and immediately I saw the Queen's car walking towards us and I had a short breath instantly.
"I'm doomed" I spilled out unknowingly and gasped.
"What is it??" The prince asked.
