Mary Came back to the hotel and went straight to her brother's hotel room, she Barged into the room without notice and there she saw Her brother Aiden in a sky blue bathrobe as he walked out of the bathroom since he just took a bath, his ink-black hair was dripping wet which made him look very handsome and dashing, at that moment he looked like a model from a magazine. 
Though they were blood siblings they had different hair colors.
Mary who was at the door didn't blush or smile as she was already used to the sight.
Aiden on the other hand was quite Suprised to see his sister, especially when he saw her barging into his room which was unlike her.
His hands which were on his hair paused as he looked at her and asked in a calm voice.
" Where have you been since morning, Mary? , Why did you leave your room Without my permission? "
" Why? , Only you can go out and I can't? , You left only me alone in that room? , How do you expect me to feel? "
" I know that you'll be bored and that's why I asked you not to come with me, you could have stayed at the mansion in Paris with Nanny Divine but you stubbornly refused. "
" I don't want to be there without you brother and you know that! How could you be so heartless to Leave Me alone?  You are such a Meanie! " Mary ranted as Warm tears streamed down her face.
Aiden's gaze softened and his tone turned gentle as soon as he saw her tears.
He closed the distance between the two of them and embraced her tightly, he was very aware of the feelings of her lone feelings but what could he do? , He tried his best to fill in the gap of a father, Mother, and sister In her life but it seems like it's not enough.
" I am sorry, little Sis, it's my fault, please forgive me. " He whispered, guilt was very evident in his tone of voice.
" You don't have to apologize to me brother, it's not your fault at all. " Little Mary replied as she broke the hug, though she was just twelve years old, she was very matured and understanding for her age perhaps it's because she lost her parents at an early age and had to depend on her brother and herself to survive.
As he was a lot taller than her she had to look up to him when talking.
" You were there for me all my life, you cared for me and loved me like your own daughter, I will never be able to thank you enough for what you have done, because of Me you weren't able to find a bride as no woman would want to become a stepmother to a grown-up child who was spoiled and pampered beyond limits, I remember the times I threw tantrums just to ruin your dates as I don't want to have anyone else but me, I knew that what I did what childish as I was very insecure but yet you didn't mind, you endured all of this with a doting smile on your face and you continued to be my guardian without complaints. " She said all of this in one breath and as soon as she was done, she sobbed uncontrollably.
Aiden pulled her into his arms once again as he wiped her pearl-like tears with his claw-like fingers as gentle as he can be, he proceeded to Leave a gentle peck on her Milky white forehead.
He was still hugging her to himself as he spoke up.
" You are my responsibility so you don't have to worry so much about being a burden because you are not. " He Whispered.
" But still--- "
" If you are feeling so guilty, why don't you blow-dry my hair then? " He suggested with a smile.
" Sure. " She agreed without hesitation as she went to get the hairdryer from where it was kept.
She got to work later on but soon drifted Into deep thoughts and Aiden Realized this when he saw her staring blankly at the mirror in front of them.
He took the Hairdryer from her and lead her to sit on the bed,  he carried a small leather chair from the front of the mirror and sat with it in front of her.
" What's on your mind, little Maria? " He asked in a gentle voice as He slowly brushed her golden long hair with his hands, he was already used to doing this as he was the one who took care of her from her early childhood.
" Well, When I went to the village stream today I met a girl she was named Malisa and..... " She recounted everything that happened in detail to her  Elder brother who was listening attentively to her.
" You did the right thing, Little Maria. " He said smiling he looked like a proud father at that moment.
" I know but it's still not enough, I wish I could do more. "
" Like what? "
" Well, that reminds me, why don't you ask your assistant to find out more about that big sister? , Pretty please? " Little Mary requested acting a little cute.
' Big Sister? ' Aiden thought Bemused, it was the first time he was hearing that from her.
" Okay. " As the doting brother he was, he couldn't refuse her so he ended up giving in to her as always.
" Yay! " She exclaimed. " You are the best! " She giggled as she pounced on him excitedly as embraced him tightly.
Aiden returned her hug, he loved his little sister more than anything in this world, he could give up anything for her as she's his priceless gem, a gem of incalculable Worth Perhaps this is so because she was his only family left and so he swore to do anything almost anything just to see her smile, he also promised himself to always keep her safe and Smiling.
The feeling is pretty mutual as his sister also abandoned her dance classes, singing classes, and even her School just to follow him on his research.
He wasn't that worried that she would miss out as he was aware of the fact that his sister was a very intelligent and bright student and no matter how tough the term's work was she always made sure to come out with the highest score and securing the first position.
He was very proud of her, despite not having a father and a mother she always made sure to be the best, she strived for success with all that she got.

" Hey, hey, please calm down little Maria. " Aiden urged.
" How can I calm down when my sister is going to be circumcised and married off to an old geezer soon, brother? Please tell me? " She retorted.
" I know, Sis, but getting angry won't solve anything or do you think it will? " He asked her in a soft tone.
" I am aware of that but I still can't help it. " She took a short pause before she suddenly spoke up.
" Wait, how about we help her get out all this? " she suggested.

" I know but we can still help her out if we ou know. " She said.
" Hm, Go to your room now, it's getting late, we'll find a way out tomorrow. " He said.
