Later in the evening Terrick went to his mate to be with her even though she isn't moving and is dead all thanks to her devilish uncle and his family.
Terrick walk into the very cold room though it's cold it doesn't bother him.
He sat by her bed and held her hand he brought it to his mouth and drop a kiss not lingering there for too long. He rub the her left cheek with his hand.
A sigh escape his mouth " imagine me saying I wouldn't accept you as my Mate? " he chuckled before continuing on his conversation " you know when my mom told me I was going to have a human mate i laughed so hard my ribs hurt, I didn't believe and i later vow to kill you the moment I see you but here we are. Ain't I suppose to be happy that your dead and i can claim anyone else as my wife?"
"You know Annex found his mate today, lucky him right? I wish I was in his shoes wait I am in his shoes but the difference is your dead and can't talk to me"
"It is wrong for me to feel jealous of him?" He gave a sad smile " please wake up and talk to me I promise I'll treat you right and I won't say anything to hurt I promise I'll thank the goddess for giving you back and I won't do anything to hurt you I will not let anyone touch you. Please come back Catrina my human mate, your the alpha's mate and a Luna" Terrick sat with his mate the whole day talking to her begging her to come back and be his mate he slept in the cold room not minding the it's temperature.
The next morning the alpha went to his room took a bath and went to the dinning table to have his breakfast with his pack.
"Good morning alpha" his members greet him in unison, he just nod his head not saying anything.
Epie came when everyone was seated he greet everyone and went to Terrick to greet him personally "good morning Terry" she greet him then look at the newly added member " who is she Terry?" Since she wasn't there to witness what happened yesterday she is clueless about this new girl.
"She's a new member of our pack and Annex's mate"
"Oh mate like yours who is that room" she look at him with her innocent eyes.
Terrick cleared his throat before saying yes, Annex just look at his best friend unable to utter a word he knows he can't feel his pain but he has an idea of it.
"Come Epie eat your food" he said to the little girl so she wouldn't talk again and put Terrick in a tight spot.
The supreme alpha didn't say anything more but just ate his food quietly, the good tasted like water in his mouth he has no appetite and is only eating because he doesn't want to look before his people.
Sure they respect him but they also want to reduce his status as the supreme alpha seeing him weak will give them the idea.
A girl is seen inside I wide room wondering around looking for a way out, her brown eyes scan the environment which seems very unknown to her.
One moment she was on her way to hades which is the realm of the dead, and the next moment she is in this room with no way out. She has been stuck here for days with no one to talk to and to explain why she is here.
Strangely she has not felt the need to eat well maybe it's because she is dead, ghost don't eat. She remember that she was in a hospital with her uncle and his family who inflicted her with pain, she died in the hospital and was happy that her misery has come to an end. She was going to heaven to meet her parents when all of a sudden she was pulled to this room which has no doors.
Why is life do unfair? First her relative made life hard for her when she was alive and now even through she is dead the universe is trying to punish her. How bad was she in her past life? She ask herself or am I paying for a crime my ancestors committed?
I've always been a good girl I never stressed my mommy out, sure I throw tantrums here and there but I was a kid back then, I never talk back to my uncle no matter he says or do to me. So why am I being punished?
Why am I being punished for no reason? God please just let me go to my mommy and daddy I want to hug them and feel their love again. I want dad to give me a piggyback ride I've missed that, I have missed all my happy moments with my dad.
All this time the girl has been sitting here and lamenting a certain someone was watching her but she did not make her presence known. She just don't want to show herself now she just want to watch her for a while.
The girl who looks tired of thinking about her problems fell asleep.
She stayed in this white room for two more days before that certain someone decide to make her presents known.
The girl was trying to try her luck again when she suddenly felt a presence like someone is there with her she snap her head to the direction and there stood looking so beautiful and elegant was a beautiful woman with a gentle smile that kind of smile which sets your mind at ease no matter what.
The woman was as white as snow her eyes bitch black her white dress was do long it trail behind her her hair rest gracefully on her waist, she wore a grown on her head.
She is so beautiful and the girl couldn't help but stare at the woman, she later regain her senses and tried to start a conversation with her maybe to find out were she is and why she is here.
" hi" apparently this side of her isn't so scared and her voice was loud and clear for the woman to hear.
"Hi Catrina how are you doing?"
"Am fine.... Wait how did you know my name? I don't know you and I have never seen you before" Catrina rack her brain to recall if she has seen this woman someone but no matter how hard she tried she couldn't find a single piece of information about her.
" I know your name because I know all, you may not know me but I know you I know everything about you " her voice was so gentle when she said that.
" who are you? " Catrina ask to know her
"Am selene"
" but I don't know any selene"
"That's because you've never seen me before" Selene clear the doubt in her head but clearing one doubt comes another.
"Then how did you know me? We've never seen each other before" it seems like dead Catrina is brave look as she is questioning her elders if it was when she was alive, her eyes will be everywhere except your face most of the time her head will be facing the ground.
She can talk to a stranger boldly without feeling nervous or scared but when she was alive if she sees a stranger who wants to talk to her she would run like a coward.
" that's because am omniscience and omnipresent "
" your just not making sense to me"
" am Selene the moon goddess" Selene was so calm and patient with Catrina no matter how many times she ask a question Selene won't get angry or yell at her, she would answer her with a smile on her face.
" but your not real your just a myth, I know that Selene is just a character in a movie and is not real. Are you trying to mess with my head? Very soon you will say Loki is real too" Catrina has watch movies about Loki and his family and she knows that Loki has a daughter called Selene who is the moon goddess but that's just a fiction of one's imagination right? She ask herself.
"Oh no child am not trying to mess with your head am real and am the reason why you are here"
"Okay let's assume you are who you said you are, how did I get here?"
" you died and was on your way to hades but I brought you back here because your work on earth isn't finish"

Selene look at the girl with amusement it looks like choosing her to be The Alpha's Mate wasn't a bad idea, she can never get fooled by someone.

Her doubt has been cleared this beautiful looking woman is the moon goddess she isn't making it up. The question now is why did she bring her here?
She wipe her tears and look at the goddess " why did you bring me here?"
" I brought here because your work on earth isn't complete, you still have something's to fulfill and you dying is going to ruin someone's life. You have a great role to play" she informed the girl.
"What so you mean by that?"
"It means your not suppose to die now, you are going back to the land of the living"
"No I don't want to go back I just want to go meet my parents were ever they are"
" you don't have a choice child"
"No please just let me go I don't want to go back there that world holds nothing but pain and suffering. I can't go back please" she beg the moon goddess
" Catrina I have to send you back your mission isn't complete, you have to go back"
" okay then tell me why I have to go back, what is my role? Why do I have to go back to earth"
" you will find out when you wake up" And after saying that she vanish leaving Catrina with unanswered questions.
Catrina stood there unmoving, confused and clueless of what she has to do. Why is she going back?
A black door which she didn't know was there suddenly open she walk through a door and found herself in a long passage road which was white and at the bottom end she could see another black door.
She follow the passage way running and strangely she didn't feel exhausted she open the black door and..........
